4.5 stars. Tears. Tears. Tears. Sobbing ugly tears.

Brown’s novel is cathartic and heartbreaking. The travel settings will make the reader feel right in the midst of amazing foreign countries. The turn of events in the story will leave you in tears, so definitely have a box of tissues handy.

Come Away with Me was an intensely emotional, heartbreaking book. The main character, Tegan, is trying to put her life back together after a tragedy, and she goes on a journey around the world with her husband Gabe. She must make peace with what she has suffered in order to pick up the pieces and move on with her life.
