Allison and Nathan have a lot of chemistry in this story but I think this story can also go to show that opposites attract. When Allison and Nathan share a kiss under the mistletoe at an office party, neither one of them can get it out of their head. Allison is very careful about not wanting anything at work to turn into something serious, besides, Nathan is about to be her boss. There is no room for that kind of stuff in the workplace and Allison lets Nathan know that she is not about that. Allison is a single mom too raising her son Dylan and Nathan is far from a family man.

When Nathan goes to see Allison after hours, their relationship begins to blossom into something that neither one of them ever expected. I love the chemistry between these two and the way that Nathan and Dylan begin to connect. Even though Nathan is not a family man, he is willing to do whatever he has to to be with Allison. Nathan has never had feelings for anyone like he does for Allison. Allison is sort of guarded because her last relationship ended because he did not have feelings for her anymore so she is playing it safe.

I am happy to say that there is HEA in this one. This was a great, quick read and I look forward to more from Brenda Harlen!
