I absolutely loved this graphic novel. Tuck Everlasting has been one of.my favorite books since childhood, and seeing it brought back to life with beautiful art just made it so much better. There artist really catered to the descriptions in the book, and didn't take away too much from the actual novel which I really enjoyed. As for the novel, it is one of the best. I have recommended this to practically everyone who has ever asked me for a book recommendation. It's one of those books that I believe everyone should read at least once in their lifetime. As a child, I also wanted to live forever and I didn't fully grasp the concept of the book, but still loved it. Re-reading this as an adult was so meaningful because I got to see one of my favorite books in a new light and understand parts of it that my elementary school self didn't grasp. I will definitely be buying myself a physical copy of this book the second that it comes out in print. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me have a chance to read this arc, it truly meant a lot to me,

I adored this. I read the original novel decades ago, so revisiting Tuck Everlasting in graphic novel form felt both nostalgic and fresh. K. Woodman-Maynard’s illustrations capture the magic and melancholy of the story beautifully — the art adds so much atmosphere without losing the heart of Natalie Babbitt’s classic.
The pacing flows so naturally that it’s easy to fall right back into Winnie’s world and the Tucks’ secret. It reminded me why this story has stayed with me all these years — timeless themes, beautiful writing, and now gorgeous visuals to match.
Thank you Macmillan Children's Publishing Group and NetGaelley for allowing me to read this book. I highly recommend for fans of the original, or anyone who loves thoughtful, beautifully illustrated graphic novels.

Thank you NetGalley for an ARC of Tuck Everlasting Graphic Novel. The story and the illustrations kept it true to the original novel. My feelings are still the same how I felt about this story when I read it for school. My daughter is also reading the story now.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for this ARC.

I loved this adaptation. It was really true to the story and brilliantly done. I really liked seeing the story and the artwork is so pretty. The story itself is amazing, I loved seeing Winnie explore the world and the concepts. I also loved the toad.

While we all know that Tuck Everlasting is a masterpiece, I would say that so is this graphic novel adaptation! The art style fits the feeling of the book so well and all of the characters look as described. I really enjoyed revisiting such a legendary tale!

I loved this book as a child and I loved this adaptation as an adult. Woodman-Maynard captured the feel of Babbitt's text beautifully. The watercolor is poignant and the characters feel so alive. I can't wait to get this into the hands of readers. The backmatter discussing adaptation will make this even more useful to readers than the text will alone.

Thank you to Macmillan Children’s Publishing and NetGalley for this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Everyone should read Nancy Babbitt’s original version. That being said, the graphic novel version does stay true to the original. I found the pacing to be a bit slow but the images are gorgeous. The water colors truly represent the time period. I know most people, especially kids, do not read the additional material at the end but this definitely worth it. K. Woodman-Maynard explains how she interpreted the original text into pictures and even includes a picture of Babbitt’s house that is now under water. I highly recommend this version.

I liked the book's art style, but I didn't love the story. Maybe I would have been more invested if I had read the original book.

Thank you to the publisher for the review copy.

This book will always have my heart and it has been my favorite book since I read it at 12 years old. This graphic novel adaptation of Tuck Everlasting brings life to Natalie Babbitt's timeless classic. It beautifully captures the story's magic and emotional depth. Through detailed illustrations, readers are transported into the serene and mysterious woods where time stands still. The characters are brought to life with expressive artwork that conveys both charm and complexity allowing readers to see what words can't always express. Although there are some differences in the way some parts are written compared to the original text, it still remains faithful to the heart of the story. This version does not replace the original, it compliments it. It offers new and returning readers the chance to experience it in a whole new way. I highly encourage everyone to read this story at least once in their life. This beautifully illustrated edition will make it even easier to fall in love with.

This was my first read as I went into this story only knowing that Tuck Everlasting was a treasured tale. I didn't grow up with this nor had seen the movie, so I was excited to get into this by way of a graphic novel.

This in itself was incredible: the colors, the fonts used, the pacing. This was an easy and attractive graphic novel that will have you so involved in the story. There was something in the way this was drawn that was so fitting with the storyline. The atmospheric tone was so great in this!

Then I rushed to watch the movie because I enjoyed this so much. Weird move on the film adaptation, making the girl a teenager rather than the 10yo that she was. It was almost creepy at times. But this graphic novel did the tone and the story so so well.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this. All opinions are my own.

I’ve never read the original Tuck Everlasting, but after reading this graphic novel adaptation by K. Woodman-Maynard, I definitely feel compelled to go back and experience the original story for myself. This adaptation offers a touching and thought-provoking journey, made all the more powerful by its expressive illustrations and faithful storytelling.

The artwork is beautifully done ~ gentle, atmospheric, and perfectly suited to the tone of the story. It captures the quiet beauty and emotional weight of the narrative without overwhelming it. The pacing is smooth, and the illustrations do a wonderful job of enhancing the emotional moments while making the story accessible to new readers.

Winnie Foster’s encounter with the Tuck family unfolds in a heartfelt and meaningful way. As she learns their secret and grapples with the idea of immortality, you can't help but reflect on the deeper themes of life, time, and choice. The Tucks are portrayed with warmth and quiet sadness, making them feel like a truly "precious" family, as you put it.

This graphic novel is a lovely introduction to the timeless story, and now I can't wait to read the original to see how it all began.

Thank you, NetGalley and Macmillan Children's Publishing Group | Farrar, Straus and Giroux (BYR) for the ARC.

Another adaptation of a classic I never read! I wasn't really sure if I was going to enjoy this one, but I was hooked from page one. The illustrations are absolutely stunning. And way the words are laid out, and the gutters are worked into the illustrations... THIS is why we graphic novel.

A wonderfully done and beautifully rendered graphic novel based on the original story by Natalie Babbitt. I thought the artist did a masterful retelling with the illustrations and the way some of the dialogue literally wove through the pages helped the flow so much. I really loved reading this. Thank you Net Galley for the ARC

Another great retelling of a childhood classic. Beautifully illustrated, this graphic version evokes all of the same feelings that I had as a kid when I read the text version. In short, the book is magical, and haunting, and emotional, and I'm so glad I had the chance to read this powerful story again.

Simply gorgeous. I've loved the story of Tuck Everlasting for many years, so I'm definitely the target audience for this book, but even so I think the illustrations are so well done and capture the vibe of the original novel. It was so much fun getting to re-visit this story in graphic novel format, and I loved the back endmatter about the process of creating this book too!

Beautiful illustrative version of this classic. While I have never read the original version of this book, I did thoroughly enjoy this one. The pacing was lovely and the art is pleasing to the eye. Wasn’t a fan of the ending but that’s a personal preference.

I was big fan of the oringal Tuck Everlasting book, as well as movie. I think this graphic novel, while leaving out something from the original book, still did a good job of still telling a story. A great introduction to the story before reading the original.
