This was such an amazing book. It literally did take me to a new world, and help me escape of my daily life. I really needed the escape, and it thus gave it me.
I could not put down.
I want to say thank to the red tower, to the author for writing it and publishing it.
Can not wait for the second book.
Why the cliffhanger?!!!

This freaken book deserves all the stars I can give. It’s truly a master piece that’s crafted to the perfection.
This book is the perfect mixture of spice and story tell that I look for. Not only are the characters so interesting and each one is the perfect book boyfriend but the Rylie omg she is the definition of a strong main character wheather your looking for a badass main character or a main character that’s strong mental she’s the inbodyment of it. You also that the emotions for each and every character that made you heart race or jump in certain moments. The world building was just amazing and you truly got an image in your mind of what each place looked like and felt like. I truly can’t put my thoughts and love for this book into words other than the fact that yall need to go read it to see for your self.

Thanks to Entangled Publishing for the ARC.
The Never List was addicting. It had everything I wanted.
💜why choose

I don’t know what it was, but I couldn’t put this one down. There is minimal world building, and we’re immediately thrown into the story, but that just means we get to know the four princes that much sooner. Seeing Rylee let down her guard and become so emotionally invested in all the men was a great character progression. And the differences between her men, and yet they all love and support each other was so heartwarming.
Also did I mention lots of sex?
The cliffhanger ending was wild (even though I had some suspicions) and I can’t wait for more.

I was meant to buddy read this with a friend, and literally finished the whole thing before she even picked it up. Why choose is a favorite of mine, so I was excited for this and got exactly what I wanted out of it. Some aspects of their relationships felt a little glossed over and maybe an insta love vibe but I'm not reading why choose for a slow burn. I'm really excited for the next one to come bc excuse me, that ending!!!??? Definitely recommend for my why choose friends!

I don't know what Jade Presley is putting in her books, but it must be the same narcotics that Taylor Swift is putting in her songs because, DAMN, The Never List was a good book. I picked it up and only put it down to go to sleep when my eyes literally wouldn't stay open anymore.
Rylee Gray is such a compelling main character who is thrust into the role of potential mate by chance and she definitely steps up. The four Legends of Chaos are all deliciously dark, but in the privacy of their own homes with Rylee, caring and compassionate.
This Why Choose novel was on my list of most anticipated books of 2025 and did not disappoint. 6/5 stars to Jade Presley. I'm already on the edge of my seat for the next book.

I love a good why choose and this didn’t disappoint 🫠 the suspense in the book was so well done!! I couldn’t pick a favorite because I love them all b it that ending I need book 2 asap pls!! 😭

The Never List by jade Presley 🥵🫠
‘Why choose when you can have them all?’ Girl if that’s how it’s going to be sign me up. 🤭 This book was absolute FIRE 🔥 🔥 🔥
Our MFC Rylee is a strong independent woman who really doesn’t take any shit for anyone. Right from the get go she was confident even if a little too confident which gets her in all kinds of trouble. She finds herself chosen to be a potential mate to not 1 but 4 princes with some big reputations 😏😏
This is a spicy 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ why choose fantasy romance with politics, action and mystery! A little heavier on the romance side but I ate it up so fast I couldn’t get enough.
Thank you red tower for the book mail and Jade for writing a masterpiece 🤩

Thank you to Red Tower Books for an arc of this book!
First off:
✨ why choose
✨ spicy spicy spicy 🌶🌶🌶🌶
✨ the bachelor/the selection
✨ good fun
✨ all vibes
So don't take this book too seriously, I honestly just had a lot of fun reading this. It was something I could relax while reading and not think too hard about. I wasn't have to engage my critical thinking skills which honestly, was *super nice*. There is nothing real complicated about this book. Think of it as less plot more...relationship development. My take on reading this is if you like a lot of plot, you like heavy character development, more complicated stories, than this book isn't going to be for you. While it does have some of it, it's more of a vehicle for the spice and the relationships between the characters.
As I said, it was mostly all about the vibes in this book. I read it in two sittings simply because I had to go back to work after reading about half, then I finished when I got home from work. One of the quickest but also one of the most fun reads. I was thinking this was just going to be a standalone book but no -- there is going to be more after this book!!! Like!! What??!!
So, I'm super excited about that because honestly, this is one of those books I'd read again just for fun. I liked all the characters (yep, not a single complaint about any of them!!!) and I liked their relationships and I liked what plot there was. Do I wish some more things were expanded upon? Yep. But really, it wasn't necessary and that is just me being nitpicky over nothing.
I found this book -- comforting? I don't know the words to use for it. Just, it gave me a space to decompress, to not think for a while, and I think there is something to be said for a book that does that for you. Not every book needs to be high-brow literature, or have deeper meaning. Sometimes they just need to be fun that you can veg out to, and this book certainly was that.
I HIGHLY recommend this book to any fans of fantasy why choose romances with lots of spice! I think you'll enjoy getting lost in this world for a while!

“This is no longer a game. No longer just about my survival. I’m willing to put myself in harm’s way for the Legends and their people…”
This book was literally amazing and, even though it hasn’t officially been released yet, I am already dying for the sequel! I need to know what happens next to Rylee and the Legends! The characters and their bonds were incredible. I love each of the Legends and how they are each very much their own person and, at the same time, connected as a true family. I loved getting to know each of them as Rylee spent time in each of their cities. Rylee is such a strong character and I loved seeing how she became protective of each of the Legends even as they each became more protective of her. I detest the kings though! I really want to see them taken down in the next book. The world building in this story was also amazing. Each city suited the individual Legends perfectly. I really hope we get more information on the battle with the Demis and the formation of the never list. I’d love to have the magic system and culture explained in greater detail. Really, everything about this world has so much potential and I am truly looking forward to getting answers to all of my questions. And that ending??? I am unwell at the thought of having to wait to see what happens next.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire time reading The Never List from Jade Presley and I didn’t want to put it down. This story she has created had me captivated from the very beginning and I was eager to know more about Rylee and the Legends of Chaos. Thank you Jade, Entangled Publishing and Red Tower Books for my eARC!
If you are a fan of Fantasy Romance with Hidden Identity, Why Choose - MFMMM, Touch Her and 💀, Fated Mates and so much more this story is for you!
In The Never List, we meet Rylee who is the lowest class of citizen an Ashlander and she is keeping a secret that could get her unalived but she is determined to find answers and the only way she can do that is by sneaking into the palace on the only night the whole kingdom is distract..the Choosing.
The 4 princes of Lumathyst must find their Chosen mate, the past women selected have all failed and they are feeling the pressure to succeed. When a certain woman with a butterfly mask captures the Nightmares attention, selecting the one person that wasn’t supposed to be there…Rylee.
Rylee must play the game and keep her cards close to her chest on her true identity because if they actually found out the truth they would imprison her or worse…Now she must got back to each of their kingdoms and make them fall in love with, no pressure right?
I love how Rylee was not afraid to challenge the princes one bit and would use her sharp tongue to put them in their places. I especially loved seeing Rylee’s relationships blossom with each of them. These princes all bring something different to Rylee, Kal immediately makes her feel safe, Axl is the funny/charming one, Pierce is the intellectual one, Jax is the dark and brooding one that picked her and now can’t stand to look at her. The princes never thought they would find their Chosen but Rylee is slowing breaking down their walls and though she thought she was just playing a game she starts falling too.
Jade certainly knows how to leave you with a heck of a cliffhanger and I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next in their story!
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I generally enjoy why-choose romance, but The Never List absolutely sucked me in and blew me away from start to finish. This was another easy five-star read for me from Red Tower Books.
Rylee’s character grabbed my attention right away, and it was so easy to imagine her trying to navigate her new, unexpected situation while keeping her secrets safe and looking for her sister. It was a precarious balance, all while surviving the Choosing’s trials and falling in true love with four very different princes.
It was so easy to fall in love with all these main characters, even the more prickly of the princes. The four dashing princes - Kal, Axl, Pierce, and Jax - make up Lumathyst’s Legends of Chaos: the Dreamer, the Player, the Mind, and the Nightmare. Each prince was crafted with distinct personalities and proclivities in the bedroom, and, just like Rylee discovered, it was hard to pick a favorite. They each loved Rylee in their own way, and it was reassuring to see the way each one supported her, especially as her secrets started coming to light. Presley gave us chapter POVs from Rylee and all the princes, and the POV changes only pulled me further into the narrative.
While this was a very sexy why-choose romance, it was hard not to love the underlying story involving classism and rebellion, set against a backdrop of political scheming. Rylee and her princes had to overcome a lot of differences to find their happiness with each other, but with many big revelations at the end, their story as true mates is only just beginning.
I loved every bit of The Never List, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for Rylee, her mates, and her friends.

That cliffhanger is really going to haunt me. AFTER ALL THAT?!?!?!
Rylee Gray was going to sneak into the Choosing with a faked invitation. Then she did. And she decided to accept a pin which entered her into the choice of the four princes of Lumathyst, the Legends of Chaos. Big decisions and big mistakes. But hey, maybe it will all work out in the end! 👀
This was my first why-choose book, and it’s certainly made for the “touch her and die” crowd. And for a book labeled “extreme spice,” the scenes were written tastefully. I never got bored of the romance or character-building, which tends to happen in some books. But I would read this again and I really need to know what’s going to happen next!!

I’ve sat with my feelings for days and I’m at a loss for words. I’m not sure I’ve ever been this conflicted. ( In a good way)
This was my first book by Jade Presley and it will NOT be my last.
The four princes of Lumathyst need a mate, and everyone wants a chance...except for her.
4 Princes, an Outspoken FMC and a kingdom at risk.. what could go wrong. But also what could go right!?
It was a dance. Quick quick slow.
I loved it. I couldn’t put it down. While all the princes are great and offer something she needs,
Jax was my tether. The tension, I needed.
That ending though…
I think my only real hang up is simply I want more! NEED more is probably more accurate.

Holy fucking balls!
This story was AMAZING.
I wasn’t 💯 on how I would feel about a” why choose”of this intensity.
BUT I loved every smutty and adventurous moment of it! I don’t think I’ve read a book that made me actually blush before!

Rylee Gray, stubborn and mouthy ass all hell on a mission to find her sister Erin. She inadvertently gets chosen. Many secrets to keep, feelings to sort through, trials and tribulations. An experience full of unexpected twists, turns, and positions. 😉😈
Kal, Axl, Pierce, and Jax, the legends of chaos on a mission for their mate. Their relationships with each other are both beautiful and complicatedly intertwined.
Are they really as gruesome as people say?
Buckle up buttercups! Get your 🍷 and get comfy you’re about to embark on a fucking hit ass journey!

I’m unwell. 4.5 stars. I’ll be back for a better review later. I need time after that cliff hanger.
One of the biggest reasons I couldn’t give this book a full five stars was how quickly the storyline and plot was introduced. At times it felt like I was missing a few pages or even chapters with how quickly everything was revealed. It also made it hard for me to find the empathy for Rylee’s missing sister. I think if the plot had a little bit longer to be fleshed out, it would have been a full 5 stars.
The other reason I couldn’t give it a full 5 stars is the almost insta-love/insta-lust of the characters. Rylee was very quick to fall for each of the different princes. Hell, Kal did…well I guess you’ll have to read what Kal did on their first day together. I would have loved to seen a bit more slow burn and Rylee hanging on to her worries instead of them taking a back seat. It makes me wonder how the other potentials were treated. But the insta-love/insta-lust made a bit more sense as I read, as I would think it’s a take on mates.
Overall, I loved this book so much. I loved all of the princes. I wanted more of Pierce and Jax but I have a soft spot for Axl and Kal too. And that ending?! I’m on pins and needles waiting for the next one. I have so many theories and questions (especially about her sister!!!) that I need answers to ASAP.

"Nightmares don’t fall in love and live happily ever after."
Ok... I'm guessing Jade put crack in this book... I was hooked right away and couldn't put it down. It's fast-paced and perfectly spicy! Not just one Prince of Chaos, but FOUR! We got to spend time (and fall in love) with each of the princes. The ending was RUDE! Absolute guarantee I'll be eagerly awaiting the next book!

I absolutely loved this book—it hooked me from the very beginning! A whirlwind of mystery, sass, and pure chaos, it had me turning pages non-stop. Every character was so well-written, I genuinely enjoyed them all. I devoured it in less than 24 hours! This is the kind of story you want to read in the dark, completely alone, just to soak in every twist and turn. I audibly gasped more than once. And that cliffhanger? Brutal—in the best way. I’m already counting down the days until the next one!

I made the (unfortunate) decision and stayed up till 5 AM last night (this morning?) binge reading this book in one sitting and did not want to put it down.
I love why choose books and this one was a fun time! It was a really interesting concept with the Choosing and powers. The Nightmare is my favorite but I loveeee Kal and Axl's dynamic with Rylee too. Pierce felt a little non-existent/very background character in the book, which was a little disappointing. The spice was really enjoyable and I absolutely loved all the banter. Rylee was pure sass and fun.
Book pacing wise, I thought it was really great in the first half. The second half felt way more rushed and didn't really get to explore enough time with the last two princes before the final event :(
The last half of the book had me questioning if this book was a standalone or not, I really couldn't tell until the very end looool.
Thank you Entangled for the eARC!!

A big thank you to @entangled_publishing, @redtowerbooks & @jadepresleyauthor for this advanced ecopy!
How FUN. This why choose had me head over heels for everyone. I adored the complexity of the romance and how equally spilt it felt. There wasn't a legend who shined brighter than the other. Which is really important when trying to write a "why choose" romance book
l adored the strength Rylee had. She faced all her challenges with dignity. Reading as she grew to love these men despite what that could mean for life was enchanting.
I'm excited to see where this story goes!!

What in the H, E Double Hockey Sticks is in this book?! I’m completely obsessed! I haven’t had a Romantasy type book hook me since Fourth Wing. I love the five main characters, the SUSPENSE, the twists and turns, literally everything about this book! @jadepresleyauthor seriously captured the definition of WHY CHOOSE! How the hell do you choose just one of them?! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
