Thanks NetGalley and Viz Media for this arc!!
5/5 stars
This volume had many new firsts for our little vampire fam - car accidents, holidays, and cosplay! This was a fun and quick read I really enjoyed. The art is just as great, however sometimes Hina's face will suddenly be longer and she will look quite different, but she goes back to normal after that so 🤷🏼♀️ I still love it and will deffo keep reading this series!

Otaku Vampire's Love Bite, Vol. 3. is, obviously, the third volume in the series. It continues the story of the life of a modern-day vampire, Hina Alucard, who, after becoming a homebody shut-in, becomes a fan obsessed with the anime Vampire Cross. As any self-respecting fangirl would, Hina decides to pack up and move to Japan, home of her beloved favorite character Mao. Once she reaches Japan, imagine Hina's surprise--and delight--when she meets Kyuta, a dead-ringer for her beloved Mao. Unforuntely, Kyuta hates vampires due to their near constant attacks on him, but he warms up to Hina. Volume 3 features a classic manga/anime trope: the hot springs inn visit! Kyuta and his friend, Hoshino, head off to the springs together, but their party is interrupted by a bunch of unexpected guests! Will Kyuta and Hina become best friends? What secret is Hoshino wanting to reveal to Kyuta? Will Kyuta learn that some vampires aren't all that bad?

Otaku Vampire's Love Bite is a super cute story! I am a big fan of the art, and love the way Hina is portrayed as an otaku character.

This was so cute! Each couple is full of so many random hijinks that it keeps me giggling. I'm so happy to see the little love lines forming.
Also, him waking up to a cold back because of her had me in tears.

I like this series! I cute, sweet and silly with fun and likeable characters. This take on vampires is fun, too! So far it hasn't really broken a lot of new ground, but the potential is still there. If this seems like your kind of series, absolutely give it a look!

This was a quick and delightful read. The series has a charm that makes it hard to put down, and its cuteness is truly irresistible. The characters are endearing, and the storyline, though short, has a warm and light-hearted energy that makes you want more.
That being said, while the manga is lovely, it does feel a little brief. I couldn't help but wish there was more to explore—perhaps with deeper character development or extended plot arcs. Despite this, the series does an excellent job of delivering its premise and leaving you with a happy, content feeling once it ends.
One thing that stands out is how well-suited this manga would be for an anime adaptation. The art style and pacing would translate perfectly to the screen, and I can easily imagine the colorful and emotional moments becoming even more impactful with animation and music.
Overall, this is a cute, feel-good read that leaves you wanting just a little bit more. If you're a fan of light-hearted stories with a dash of charm, I highly recommend giving this one a try!
