Thank you for the advance copy of this book. It was available on NetGalley for a short time for me, then archived so I was unable to review it. I then tried to find it on Amazon so I could read and review. It appears to be unavailable everywhere.
It looked like a very interesting memoir that I wanted to read.

I have read hunders of memoirs on addiction and recovery.

This one was good, mainly because Edwards describes gang life in detail, leaving me fascinated by the ways addiction and gang life mesh so easily. I honestly had never thought of that before.

Honest and very raw, you feel as though you have a front seat for the action. I often found myself mumbling, "wow, that happened?"

I won<t say it was a delightful read, but it was engaging and very interesting.
