This was such a great time.
I'll be honest, I struggled with Phantasma, so I was debating if I even wanted to read this. But I'm so glad I did!
This book picked up where the first left off.. So while they are interconnected standalones, I think reading Phantasma first will definitely give you more insight into where Genevieve (Vivi) is coming from. Vivi was a really likable character - she had great, understandable reasons for going out on her quest - searching for acceptance. And then she, what else, bites off more than she can chew, and has to marry a brusque powerful wraith to keep herself safe. oh noooooo. Was her marriage of convience with Rowin a little contrived? Sure, but we're not here to nitpick. We're here for fun. And Vivi and Rowin were so. much. fun together. Every scene they had together just sparkled with tension and playfulness.
Rowin may just be your new book boyfriend obsession, I fear. With golden eyes, shadow powers, multiple piercings and tattoos, and a protective streak a mile wide, Kaylie knew exactly what she was doing when she wrote him!!
The plot, the setting, the pacing, the romance, are all top notch. The last couple of chapters had me a little emotional, but in a good way. The Silver family and all their murder-chaos was pure fun, and the ending left a lot more questions than I thought it would. I really can't wait to see what the next book has in store!

I loved Phantasma so of course I had to read this one. One thing to know about me is that I don't read the synopsis before reading a book. So I went in blind and I was not expecting to have another devil's game in a manor. At first, I was skeptical and feared this book would just be a replica of the first one. I am so glad that it wasn't the case.
This book enchanted me. It has a FMC that is intelligent while also making mistakes, a shadow MMC who is morally grey and possessive, a gothic setting and deadly games. I found this book had less gore than the first one but it is understandable. The ending had so many twists that I did not see coming!
I love that we got to explore a little more of this world and I think every sibling of Rowin could have a book about them and I would read it.

I adored Phantasma when I read it last year, so I couldn’t wait to read Enchantra. It more than lived up to my expectations. I loved both Genevieve and Rowin. Their characters were incredibly well developed, and the chemistry between them was perfection. I also really enjoyed the Silver family in general. They created a great host of varied characters for Genevieve to interact with. I also really enjoyed the game that the characters partake in. It was intense but still felt fresh and original. One of the elements I love most, though, about Smith’s writing is the imagery. Smith knows how to paint a decadent scene and doesn’t skimp on the details making for a luxurious experience. I combo read the ebook and audiobook for this. However, I definitely found myself more drawn to the audiobook. Horowitz’s narration is truly special. She draws you in and keeps you rooted in the story from start to finish. Horowitz also injects so much energy and life into the characters that you can’t help but want to read more. Overall, I loved this story and can’t wait for the third installment.

I don't know how it was possible, but this book was even better than Phantasma! This is the second book set in the same universe so I highly recommend you read the other first. The focus is on Ophelia's sister, Genevieve, who is an absolute spitfire and I fell in love with her from the beginning of Phantasma.
We get introduced to a new cast of characters featuring the Silver family and you will fall in love with every single one of them. This family is delightfully dysfunctional and Genevieve fits right in.
Remi, our pierced and shadow wielding MMC, is the perfect counterpart to Genevieve. He never misses a beat and their first encounter is the perfect start to establishing their distaste for each other. There is so much amazing snark and banter as they each love to hate the other. Kaylie did a phenomenal job writing every single one of their scenes. The tension can be almost too much to handle but never fear because the spice is so spicy and incredibly satisfying. Did I mention there are shadows? 🫠
As in the previous book, there are competitions but in a different style. As each competition concludes, we learn even more about the secrets that plague the Silver family. The goal is always to outsmart the rest of the players but in the end, they need to outsmart the game.
The ending was emotional but very satisfying. I am so grateful to have received this early copy to read. Thank you @readforeverpub , @secondskybooks and @kaylsmoon.

I’m not going to lie - while I was reading Phantasma I did not like Genevieve for most of the book. Enchantra has cured me and I have seen the error of my ways!
This book was such a good time. It had the same dangerous game elements as Phantasma, but enough differences that you didn’t feel like you were reading the same book over again. I grew to love Vivi the more I got to know her, and was loved how much of a spunky troublemaker she ended up being. The chemistry and banter between her and Rowin was just *chef’s kiss* and it was easy to feel their connection build through the pages. I really loved all of the members of the Silver family and hope we will see them again in the future!
Read if you like:
*Feisty FMCs who don’t put up with shit
*Touch her and die/“my wife” shadow daddies
*Marriage of convenience
*Ready or Not/deadly games
*Cursed manors and the family that comes with it
Thank you to Forever and NetGalley for a review copy. 4.5/5 Stars

The Wicked Games series continues to hold me utterly at its mercy. Enchantra blew me away. Between high stakes games that were even more diabolical than those of Phantasma and the marriage of convenience to none other than a shadow daddy, I could not have been any more bewitched. The imagery that Kaylie Smith evokes with her writing is spectacular in and of itself and I felt like I was transported right into the Silver estate with the entire family. I really enjoyed the development of Genevieve and Rowins characters as they navigated the consequences of playing the game whilst chemistry boiled between them. The way Rowan reacted when he and Genevieve drank the passion fruit juice? Holy mother of God, I was on my knees. Every bit of tension and spice after that point was out of this world and the audio even took it to the next level. I cannot recommend these books enough. I'm pretty sure I cycled through every single emotion in these pages and I am only more eagerly awaiting the next.

This was such a fun read!!! I loved the first installment but this one?? *chef's kiss* there's something about second books in series that focus on the second sister that speaks to me.
The FMC, Genevieve, is forced to participate in some deadly (literally) games in a fancy manor while she pretends to be in love with one of the owner's sons, who are all cursed to kill each other until only one remains alive for Hell's entertainment.
I loved Genevieve so much (I also loved the curvy rep) and the bonds she forms with some members of the Silver family, specially her relationship with Rowin Silver (the MMC). I only wish it had developed through a longer time period since it felt more insta-lusty than anything else, however in the context of the story and the amount of time in which it takes place it kind of makes sense.
Bonus: there's this animal companion that i just adored!
The audiobook was incredible as well, Laura Horowitz, the narrator, did amazing job.
I can't wait for the next instalment, hopefully it features both pairings from this book and the previous one.
Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for providing me with both the e-arc and audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This is an excellent sequel to a very popular first book. It was not disappointing, which I was very thankful for.

This one was good. We love a broody shadow daddy with an adorable animal sidekick. And Rowin gave it to us.
I will say, I didn't enjoy this one as much as Phantasma, despite the plot being less predictable. I just felt like the characters didn't have as much chemistry as they did in the first. I did, however, absolutely adore Genevieve's confidence. That shit was spot on and kept me rooting for her the whole time.

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOK! Once I started reading this one, I did not want to put it down. I already loved Vivi, but she became one of my all-time faves after this book. And Rowin is now at the top of my list of favorite heroes! This was a perfect book and just the romantasy I needed in my life!

How FUN! Everything that was fun and enjoyable about the first somehow was done even better this time around. These characters are just perfect to read, and the tropes really nailed it. I think anyone who loved the first will love this just as much.
I will admit though that after it being some time after Phantasma came out, it felt a tad confusing jumping straight back into this universe - there wasn't much context or reminders noted through the beginning which I found made it disorienting to start with.

Oh this was a great time - and I devoured it in under 24 hours! Think Ready or Not, but the family is immortal, they are being forced to play a death game once annually for eternity, everyone can kill anyone, there can only be one victor, AND a mortal accidentally got stuck in the mix, so naturally the (hot) victor from previous years has to marry them for their protection. It takes “she’s mine” to the one hundredth degree.
Keep them coming Kaylie Smith!
Thank you to Second Sky/Forever and NetGalley for advanced electronic copy in exchange for a honest review. Enchantra comes out on April 8th.

Loved Book 2!! I loved getting to read about Genevieve in this one. It was fun getting to explore her journey to Enchantra in order to find answers after discovering an Invitation and trying to see who this Barrington Silver guy was. Of course though the day she arrives, so many strange things happen and then once she arrives she ends up getting trapped there and has to play a deadly game "The Hunt" a deadly hide and seek game pretty much with a family she knows nothing about and has no idea what to expect. The only way she can survive though is to marry one of the Silver family members who ends up being Rowin. It was fun getting to go through the Hunt, getting to know the Silver family and why her mother was invited to this place.
This one will keep you reading and wanting to know what was going to happen. Would and if Genevieve would survive this "Hunt" and how her feelings would change for Rowin. Which loved Rowin by the way!
Loved the ending too!!

Enchantra Review-Spoilers
4/5✨
Absolutely loved!!! Wow, we have another great book!! I was so excited to step into this world and story again after Phantasma last year! This story was so much fun!! I absolutely loved the deadly hide and seek twist of Enchantra and the back story of the game! I felt like I was a competitor the whole time and was on the edge of my seat anytime Vivi was hidden and a floor board creaked. From the beginning when she entered into the house and Rowin was trying to kick her out I was hooked into the story and kept finding myself asking why and what was happening!! I was a little nervous when the game got explained because I was afraid that it was going to be another Phantasma, but it was not!! This game was so different and unique from the first book! I really loved the characters of this book especially Sevin! I think the book did an overall great job at character development, setting, building of the story, and of making the reader anxious to find out more!!
If you enjoyed Phantasma this is a definite read!!

Thank you @readforeverpub for tbr #gifted copy of this eARC! I have already bought my copy and am waiting for it to arrive next week!
I am in love with this series! This book has all the best things in them! Games, high stakes, spice, games, sassy characters, games and intrigue. Did I mention games? 😜 I know, I know. But seriously give me all the books with games in them. This book is now focused on Genevieve, Ophelia’s sister who wants to prove her worth in the family. She doesn’t like that she’s taken a back seat so when she’s invited to Italy she jumps at the chance to go. Little does she know she’s following in her sisters footsteps and once she arrives…she’s welcomed with a slammed door in her face. She doesn’t take kindly to it and once she’s inside she realizes the most intense game of hide and seek is on! Ready or not…it’s hide and survive or hang out in hell. 😳 Don’t worry there is a hunky man named Rowin that makes things interesting. Let’s just say they start out as enemies and end up uncovering each others pasts and find love along the way. I loved the chemistry they two characters had and of course love the devilish games that were played. I cannot get enough of these words and am anxiously awaiting for the next book! Bring on the insanity! I’m ready!

Wash, rinse, repeat: This is the Phantasma with a new set of characters and a few small tweaks. If you loved the first book and want more of the same, you will love this! If you were looking for something different, you may be disappointed. The premise of Enchantra is compelling and the conceptualization of this haunted house is really neat. There were some pacing issues, there is a lot of buildup and then the resolution at the end is rushed. Overall this should keep Phantasma fans happy.

I wasn’t blown away by Phantasma, but enjoyed it enough to continue the series. This second book fell a little flat for me. It has very similar vibes to the first with morally gray characters completing a competition. It took me a while to feel connected to these characters, but I did start to enjoy it by the end. I think if you loved Phantasma, you will love this one too!
Thanks to Second Sky/Forever and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

Didn’t feel the same as book one. Felt rushed and didn’t add up to me. Relationship felt hollow and rushed.

Kaylie Smith has done it again!
Phantasma had set a very high bar, with the story, the setting and the characters and I genuinely thought Enchantra wouldn't live up to it... but boy was I wrong!
This is part two of a duology, Phantasma and Enchantra are two interconnected standalones, but I would recommend reading Enchantra second and there are some references to the first book that may result in spoilers.
In Enchantra we follow Genevieve who, after exchanging letters with a mysterious man (old friend of her mother's) travels to Italy after receiving an invitation. To her surprise, she finds a family o wreaths and is somehow dragged into a deadly hunt game that results into her having to marry a wraith to be able to have a chance at survival...
The descriptions of the rooms, the hunt, the characters is phenomenal as always, and we get to know more about Genevieve and all she feels which was a bit ambiguous in book 1.
For the lovers of spice: this book has a few spicy scenes (and very good ones I may add) - but they are always relevant to the story and for the non-spice readers, they are very easy to skip.
I would 100000% recommend this book, I had a fab time reading it and I cannot wait for Kaylie's next book!
Thank you SecondSky and NetGalley for allowing me to review this ahead of publication!

This is basically Reasy or Not reimagined with hot wraiths.
I was about to be so mad at the ending, but I can say that I enjoyed this more than I did Phantasma.
I did notice that there tends to be a lot of buildup and things get resolved very quickly and it feels a little bit rushed. Looking back I also noticed this in Phantasma. I feel like it wasn’t as big of a deal in that book but in this book, I feel like there was a lot that was not explained such as each game.
You can tell by the ending that a third book is being set up, but I am actually kind of surprised that it’s not clear who it will follow specifically.
Overall an enjoyable read and one of the most swoon worthy book boyfriends.
