Two truths and a lie…
Kaylie Smith has changed my reading life.
I’m not a fan of lip rings, but I want to be.
This book was even better (if that’s possible) than Phantasma.
Genevieve Grimm’s life has always revolved around her sister, Ophelia, learning the family’s magic. She’s felt left out and lacking a place in the world. So, when she receives an invitation to Enchantra she can’t resist the opportunity to find answers.
Enchantra is a cursed palace filled with temptation and illusions at every turn. It’s also the place where Rowin Silver’s family has been trapped forever in a deadly game of hide and seek. And now that Genevieve has entered the game, could she be the key to releasing his family for good?
This interconnected standalone has the same dangerous game elements that played out in Phantasma, but there were enough differences that you don’t feel like you’re reading the same story over again. The Silver family was delightful, and the banter between Rowin and Genevieve was perfection. The way their connection built through each hunt was masterful. And the ending was soo good!
To say I devoured this book is an understatement. This is the second book in the Wicked Games series, and all I have to say is there better be more because I have never felt so immersed in a book in all my life. This is what it is truly like to read – an all-in, immersive escape from the world and I am so thankful I gave Phantasma a try because, otherwise, I wouldn’t have had this enchanting experience.
Thank you to Kaylie Smith, Second Sky/Forever, and NetGalley for a gifted digital copy of the book for an honest review.

Enchantra follows Genevieve “Vivi” Grimm who’s hunting for answers about her family and gets trapped into a deadly hide and seek game with a dysfunctional family trying to escape hell. Her only hope is to team up with broody shadow daddy Rowin who both infuriates her and challenges her every desire.
When I say I DEVOURED this one! I truly thought no one could hold up to my babies Ophelia and Blackwell from Phantasma and I’m thrilled to be proven wrong!! Genevieve is such a curvy sassy boss girl intent on saving herself and standing up to evil - all while looking fabulous in gorgeous dresses. In contrast, Rowin is a grumpy, brooding-but-caring, deadly character who loves to “worship” IYKYK and their alliance is so adorable and so full of tension, banter, and pining that I was kicking my feet the whole time.
The setting brings back all the spooky gothic vibes of Phantasma but throws glitter and gold all over it. Elegance and murder and curses and magic layer one another to form the Enchantra estate full of twists and turns, secret rooms, and hidden mysteries. Oh, and did I mention that Labyrinth was an inspiration?! Aka my favorite movie ever!
What a wicked sexy sequel to what’s become a favorite series of mine!

💜« Blood does not go with pink » ahhh Genevieve Grimm they could never make me hate you.💜
After the whole Phantasma chaos, Genevieve thought she could spend some time doing normal things with normal humans, however being a specter would definitely complicate that especially when she still has these terrible nightmares. Add to the fact that she has a mysterious letter addressed to her mother to visit Enchantra. Genevieve must find out more about her deceased mother, so she decides to visit in her stead, what she will find there is more than she could have ever thought of.
Siblings trapped in a deadly game by a Devil that takes place each year due to a mistake made years ago. Genevieve must now participate in it as she desperately needs answers, however she is not from their family so she must die even before the game starts.
Infuriating Rowin Silver finds a very easy solution to that, become his bride and act irrevocably in love.
Will she be able to pretend the whole time? There is a very fine line between love and hate.
I loved this book so so much, and I got extremely lucky to be able to read it before publication day!
I adore the Silver family, they’re all so different but also all very similar and that’s the best definition for what it’s like to have siblings. Genevieve is so sassy and wants to look her best even in the worst of times and that just made me love her even more! I also love that we got to see some of our favorite characters from another book and I am in desperate need of the next one now!!
Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for sending me an early copy in exchange of an honest review!

when genevieve got a hexed letter inviting her to the enchantra manor, the last thing she expected was to get sucked into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a HUSBAND. rowin is said husband and he is a grumpy, shadow wielding immortal keeping so many secrets. I loved all of his siblings and the found family sm. vivi found her place with them!!!
this book was so fast paced and fun. vivi is such a baddie and I loved her confidence. rowin was so down bad for her. I also loved all his siblings.
I cannot WAIT for the next one!!
biggest thank you to forever publishing for the early copy of one of my most anticipated reads of the year!!!! it was also so fun to meet kaylie at the BN book fest 🖤💜
what to expect
⟢ marriage of convenience
⟢ dangerous games
⟢ immortal shadow wielder mmc!!!!
⟢ found family (literally)

I was lucky enough to be approved for an EArc of this and my god, it did not disappoint - I absolutely adored Phantasma. It was quick, action packed, and the plot twist - in no way saw it coming.
I thought it couldn't get better with book 2 but I was wrong.
I think I love Genevieve's escapades in more thrilling than Ophelia. Her sarcasm has literally had me outwardly laughing at points.
As well as learning more about her, her childhood, being the 2nd sibling and her trauma. She's an icon.
And let's not forget about Rowin 🥵 our shadow wraith is EVERYTHING! Not going to lie, I'm always going to be excited about an MMC with piercings 🤷🏻🤣
I feel like I have absolutely raced through this book, at no point have I felt it was dragging and I actually think I prefer it to book 2!
If this was on your tbr list, I would move it to the top. Immediately!
Fully rated this 5⭐ just because of the vibes!
Thank you to NetGalley and Second Sky/forever for approving an eARC in exchange for an honest review 💜

4.5⭐️
I really enjoyed Phantasma so I have been excited to read Enchantra and this was such a great sequel! This book follows Genevieve Grimm who has travelled to Italy to meet her mother’s old friend and hopefully learn more about her past, but she end’s up trapped in a deadly game of “Ready or Not” with the Silver family. The only way to survive is by marrying Rowin Silver and competing against his family, but as the only mortal, losing the games would mean her death.
This book was so much fun! Enchantra had all of the things I loved about Phantasma but it also felt entirely unique. This book was so captivating and I loved the whimsical Italian gothic atmosphere. I am always a big fan of a marriage of convenience and this one was done so well. Genevieve and Rowin had so much chemistry and I loved them together! Rowin’s entire family was so entertaining and I would love to see more of them in future books. I highly recommend this book if you enjoyed Phantasma.
What to expect:
💜 Romantasy
💜 Deadly Game
💜 Gothic Italian Mansion
💜 Magical Beings
💜 Marriage of Convenience
💜 Touch Her and Die
Thank you to Kaylie Smith, Forever and NetGalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It’s been months since a book was able to consume me the way this one did. I devoured it. I am at a loss for words. It was so entertaining, spicy, and the perfect amount of fantasy.

I want to thank NetGalley for approving me for an ALC of this book. I loved the audio of Phantasma and was very excited to listen to Genevieve's story.
Firstly, Laura Horowitz is an incredible narrator. I kept forgetting this wasn't being performed by multiple people, her ability to change her voice is incredible.
I loved Genevieve, the damsel in distress that saves herself. She's feisty, confident and determined to win the game, she's unwillingly been thrown into.
Rowin was dark, moody and possessive, a walking red flag but you can't help but love him. The connection between him and Genevieve was undeniable but it was the relationships with his siblings that I was mostly intrigued by.
I am so excited that there will be a third book in this series because I'm not ready to say goodbye to these characters. From the teaser we got at the end of this book I have a feeling the third is going to be phenomenal!

Thank you, Second Sky/Forever for this arc in exchange for an honest opinion. The approval came on Valentine's Day and I couldn't have been happier 😍
After loving Phantasma, I had high expectations for Enchantra. I was very curious about Vivi's story and it didn't disappoint!
I absolutely LOVED the setting of this one. The estate, the garden, the rooms...everything was described in such an immersive way that I could imagine myself being part of the story. The marriage of convenience for survival combined with high-stakes games made each level of the Hunt so intense that I couldn't stop reading.
Vivi was a great and strong character and I liked getting to know her. I really don't think I could've survived everything she went through 😂
But let me tell you about Rowin🥵After being obsessed with Blackwell in Phantasma, I didn't think I'd fall for Rowin so hard, but here we are😂
I really liked how he supported and protected Vivi and how he got to care about her. Bonus points for being shadow daddy😉
Also, the side characters were amazing! The Silver siblings were pure chaos (in a good way) and I'd love to see more of them in future books.
The ending of the book made my heart stop for a second and I still have so many questions…That being said, I can't wait to read whatever comes next🥰

👿👿 Enchantra by Kaylie Smith 👿👿
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Releases April 8th
It took a little getting into but once I did I really enjoyed it. This time we follow Genevieve and how she gets forced into the hunt and will she survive? This is a I really want to hate you but I can’t. This time we focus more on devils and wraiths

Enchantra by Kaylie Smith and narrated by Laura Horowitz is the second book in the Wicked Games. A spicy fantasy romance and it was an obsession for me. This was an audiobook that I just loved and the Narrator Laura was superb, she made this audiobook even more special.
This was packed with deadly intrigue with a spicy romance, Enchantra will transport you to a world of feisty heroines and morally gray love interests, fake dating, forbidden desire and family secrets. Just Superb from start to finish. It took my breath away!
Another 5 star read/audiobook.
Big Thank you to NetGalley and especially Bookouture Audio and Second Sky/Forever for my Audiobook and ARC.

When Genevieve Grimm receives an invite to Italy from a friend of her mother's she accepts. She does this in hopes of finding others like herself and uncovering and secrets her family kept from her. Instead she finds herself in another set of Devils games...
Okay, let get into it! The setting, ugh can I just go ahead and move into this estate? Like I could never be bored! There is a giant hedge maze, massive library, and secret passageways filled with gothic aesthetics.
The characters. The family that Genevieve finds is dysfunction at its finest. Rowin, the MMC, is 1 of 7 siblings. All the siblings are totally different and bring a different vibe to the family dysfunction.
I loved Genevieve in the first book but I think I fell in love with her personality in this one. She will stand up for herself to anyone, is fierce, knows exactly what she wants, and asks a million questions while doing it. I totally get asking a million questions because this is soo me!
Okay, Rowington, or Rowin Silver is swoon worthy. Tatted up, morally gray, moody, and has piercings 😉. My favorite quality is that he is protective of what is his and he will do anything for you!
This book has chemistry, humor, banter, filled with violence and an array of characters. I definitely recommend this book!

Interconnected standalone fantasy
Marriage of convenience

A few quotes JUST because:
" I want him to hate me like he hates everyone else. All the way through a mattress."
" But for whatever time you remain in my bed, I will make it your shrine."

Enchantra by Kaylie Smith is a lush, dark fantasy romance that’s equal parts deadly game and emotional whirlwind. Set in a cursed palace where nothing is as it seems and the only rule is to never trust your heart, this story hooks you from the first page and doesn’t let go until the final, heart-stopping twist.
After the tragic and mysterious death of her mother, Genevieve Grimm is desperate for answers—and finds them in the form of a cryptic invitation to Enchantra, a palace draped in secrets, danger, and seductive illusions. Here, reality bends, trust is a liability, and the cost of losing is fatal.
Enter Rowin Silver: arrogant, enigmatic, and maddeningly unreadable. He warns Genevieve to turn back, but she steps into the palace anyway—and finds herself trapped in a deadly game where the only way to survive is to play along. When Genevieve and Rowin are forced into a fake romance to stay alive, sparks fly and loyalties blur. What begins as a lie may just unravel everything they thought they knew—about Enchantra, and about each other.
Smith’s writing is richly atmospheric and immersive, painting Enchantra as both a dream and a nightmare. The world-building is spectacular and the Beast, and you’ll get a sense of the palace’s dangerous allure. Each trial, each secret passage, and each glance shared between Genevieve and Rowin builds a tension that’s as emotional as it is magical.
The enemies-to-lovers dynamic is expertly crafted. Their banter is sharp, their chemistry undeniable, and their emotional growth deeply satisfying. Genevieve is a standout heroine—fierce, intelligent, and determined to protect herself and those she loves, even as her heart pulls her in dangerous directions.
Final thoughts:
Enchantra is a dazzling, high-stakes fantasy brimming with betrayal, passion, and spellbinding twists. Kaylie Smith has created a world where nothing is safe—not your life, not your mind, and certainly not your heart. For fans of romantic fantasy with a dark edge, this is an absolute must-read.

First off I want to start with if you have not read Phasma yet but really want to read Enchantra and are wondering if you will be too lost I can say from experience that you will be lost for only a short bit, a chapter or two. Enchantra does a great job of clueing you into anything important from the first book without losing anything of it's own story and plot.
I really didn't think I liked Death Games kind of books before this but Enchantra has me looking at that whole genre now. This was an exciting and fun roll coaster and now I'm looking for more.

Enchantra is a darkly addictive sequel that brings even more deadly games, cursed traditions, and sizzling enemies-to-lovers tension. Kaylie Smith expands this haunting world with a cursed game of hide-and-seek, a broody demon husband, and a heroine who’s pure sass and chaos.
Genevieve steals every scene with her sharp tongue and fearless attitude, while Rowington delivers all the brooding intensity and unexpected tenderness you could want. Their chemistry crackles, and the slow-burn tension is absolutely delicious.
From high-stakes danger to shadowy secrets and spicy moments that’ll leave you breathless, Enchantra is a must-read. This twisted, ghostly world keeps getting better—I cannot wait for the author’s next book!

This was such a great time.
I'll be honest, I struggled with Phantasma, so I was debating if I even wanted to read this. But I'm so glad I did!
This book picked up where the first left off.. So while they are interconnected standalones, I think reading Phantasma first will definitely give you more insight into where Genevieve (Vivi) is coming from. Vivi was a really likable character - she had great, understandable reasons for going out on her quest - searching for acceptance. And then she, what else, bites off more than she can chew, and has to marry a brusque powerful wraith to keep herself safe. oh noooooo. Was her marriage of convience with Rowin a little contrived? Sure, but we're not here to nitpick. We're here for fun. And Vivi and Rowin were so. much. fun together. Every scene they had together just sparkled with tension and playfulness.
Rowin may just be your new book boyfriend obsession, I fear. With golden eyes, shadow powers, multiple piercings and tattoos, and a protective streak a mile wide, Kaylie knew exactly what she was doing when she wrote him!!
The plot, the setting, the pacing, the romance, are all top notch. The last couple of chapters had me a little emotional, but in a good way. The Silver family and all their murder-chaos was pure fun, and the ending left a lot more questions than I thought it would. I really can't wait to see what the next book has in store!

I loved Phantasma so of course I had to read this one. One thing to know about me is that I don't read the synopsis before reading a book. So I went in blind and I was not expecting to have another devil's game in a manor. At first, I was skeptical and feared this book would just be a replica of the first one. I am so glad that it wasn't the case.
This book enchanted me. It has a FMC that is intelligent while also making mistakes, a shadow MMC who is morally grey and possessive, a gothic setting and deadly games. I found this book had less gore than the first one but it is understandable. The ending had so many twists that I did not see coming!
I love that we got to explore a little more of this world and I think every sibling of Rowin could have a book about them and I would read it.

I adored Phantasma when I read it last year, so I couldn’t wait to read Enchantra. It more than lived up to my expectations. I loved both Genevieve and Rowin. Their characters were incredibly well developed, and the chemistry between them was perfection. I also really enjoyed the Silver family in general. They created a great host of varied characters for Genevieve to interact with. I also really enjoyed the game that the characters partake in. It was intense but still felt fresh and original. One of the elements I love most, though, about Smith’s writing is the imagery. Smith knows how to paint a decadent scene and doesn’t skimp on the details making for a luxurious experience. I combo read the ebook and audiobook for this. However, I definitely found myself more drawn to the audiobook. Horowitz’s narration is truly special. She draws you in and keeps you rooted in the story from start to finish. Horowitz also injects so much energy and life into the characters that you can’t help but want to read more. Overall, I loved this story and can’t wait for the third installment.

I don't know how it was possible, but this book was even better than Phantasma! This is the second book set in the same universe so I highly recommend you read the other first. The focus is on Ophelia's sister, Genevieve, who is an absolute spitfire and I fell in love with her from the beginning of Phantasma.
We get introduced to a new cast of characters featuring the Silver family and you will fall in love with every single one of them. This family is delightfully dysfunctional and Genevieve fits right in.
Remi, our pierced and shadow wielding MMC, is the perfect counterpart to Genevieve. He never misses a beat and their first encounter is the perfect start to establishing their distaste for each other. There is so much amazing snark and banter as they each love to hate the other. Kaylie did a phenomenal job writing every single one of their scenes. The tension can be almost too much to handle but never fear because the spice is so spicy and incredibly satisfying. Did I mention there are shadows? 🫠
As in the previous book, there are competitions but in a different style. As each competition concludes, we learn even more about the secrets that plague the Silver family. The goal is always to outsmart the rest of the players but in the end, they need to outsmart the game.
The ending was emotional but very satisfying. I am so grateful to have received this early copy to read. Thank you @readforeverpub , @secondskybooks and @kaylsmoon.

I’m not going to lie - while I was reading Phantasma I did not like Genevieve for most of the book. Enchantra has cured me and I have seen the error of my ways!
This book was such a good time. It had the same dangerous game elements as Phantasma, but enough differences that you didn’t feel like you were reading the same book over again. I grew to love Vivi the more I got to know her, and was loved how much of a spunky troublemaker she ended up being. The chemistry and banter between her and Rowin was just *chef’s kiss* and it was easy to feel their connection build through the pages. I really loved all of the members of the Silver family and hope we will see them again in the future!
