I was so excited for Genevieve’s story! This was just as much fun as Phantasma and even more exciting! The games aspect will always suck me in! Add in found family, great side characters, and a hint of mystery and I’m sold!! Rowin will without a doubt will be a new favorite MMC! I hope we see more of the Silver siblings in more books, especially Ellin and Sevin!!

I didn’t want it to finish!! I’m so sad! What an amazing second book!
I was so worried it wouldn’t live up to Phantasma but omg It did, in fact I think I may have loved this just a little bit more.
Brilliant storyline and characters, the Silver Siblings have my heart! All of them even GRAVE!
Will be telling EVERYONE to read this.
Highly highly recommend

its rare for me to enjoy the second book in a series more than the first. But I definitely loved this more than phantasma and i enjoyed that one too.

For me I liked the story line better in this one along with all the characters. Vivi is perfect in my opinion. She isn't one of those I am the chosen one and will destroy you all because I have my shadow daddy now but rather still just a normal girl trying not to get killed by lunatics.

I loved the entire game/competition in general and it was very well done. I wasn't sure how it would be done or pulled off when I finished book 1 but i was pleasantly surprised. Deff pick this one up because if I understand correctly there might be more books in this series. Or at least thats the vibe I got at the end. Some one let me know.

I was nervous to read this because i loved Phantasma so much- however absolutely loved this book too. Genevieve and Rowin were perfect. We get some of the themes from Phantasma in Enchantra but with its own twist. This book had me laughing, crying and biting my nails and I loved moment of it. And I am praying this series isn't finished because I absolutely need more Genevieve, Rowin, Sevin, and Salem in my future. Needless to say I will read anything Kaylie writes from here on out.

This book is amazing! As much as I loved Phantasma, I love this one more. I was hooked from page one and was pulled in for Genevieve story.

Genevieve is so sassy, strong-willed, and isn’t afraid to share her opinions and she is easily a top FMC for me. I love her determination and that she does what she wants. Rowin is the dark, mysterious, and brooding morally gray MMC that we all deserve. I love the banter between these two and while the book isn’t as spicy as book 1, it felt more in place and more part of the story.

The curse that the Silver family has to live with was very interesting and heartbreaking. The game they have to play every year makes you never want to play hide and seek ever again!

With how the book ends, I hope that means we are getting a book 3!

This was so enjoyable and entertaining! I love a well done marriage of convenience plot and this excels at that. Genevieve and Rowin were amazing and I loved all of the siblings as well. I’m eager to get a book from Sevin’s perspective or with him as the love interest because he was one of my favorites.

This book left the door open for a third (or more) book in this world and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

I had a lot of expectations for this book since I thought that Phantasma was AMAZING. That being said, Enchantra surpassed my expectations and I found myself sacrificing sleep and other responsibilities because I couldn't put it down. Dare I say, it was even better than the first? Spicy, funny, fast paced, and fully of interesting characters. We got to see the other side of the Grimm family here and Genevieve is an absolute force of nature. I don't want to give too much away honestly, because I believe that this was a great book to go into blind and enjoy the ride; it will sweep you off your feet. If you enjoyed the spooky vibes of Phantasma, you are going to LOVE enchantra. I actually went out and bought another copy of Phantasma so that I could read them side by side again and it was so fun to jump right from the first to the second, even though they are stand alone. Some of the characters that you love from Phantasma even show up and I was beyond happy to see them again!

Thank you Netgalley and Second Sky for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

“Does that mean there are strings now?” “As many as you want Mrs silver. And tie them down as tight as you want” 🥹🥹🥹

Ughhh my heart ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🩹

I wasn’t sure how this would keep along the same vibes as phantasma with a “game” of some sort but it was so good!

Rowan🥹🥵😭 poor tortured soul but a romantic possessive shadow daddy! Say less!

I love getting to see a deep dive into Genevieve and her personality, thoughts, trauma, and life that we missed but was hinted at in book one.

Right now, in this moment, all I can say is WOW!

The characters were all contagious and I was constantly itching for what to come next.

I am so happy that Genevieve got herself her own book with her own Wicked Game adventure. While we didn't get much of her first Wicked Game in Phantasma, this adventure tested who she was or (becoming) and the importance of family.

There was so much banter and loathing, enemies to lovers plus touch her and d!e, which is my favorite tropes. The FMC really proves who she is in this story and what she will overcome to find out more to the story of her mother Tessie.

Genevieve knows not to bargain with the devil, but will she to find the truth?

3.5 stars. This was an ARC from NetGalley. This is the second book in the Wicked Games series. The book started off right at the jump, which caused the character development to suffer a bit in the first half, and took a while to get comfortable with the magic system. This book differed from the first in a couple of ways. First, the focus almost solely remained on the MFC and MMC. Secondly, the trails were a primary part of the story. It kept me entertained and engaged. I thought the ending was done better, and not so rushed as the first. I would continue the series. #netgalley #enchantra #wickedgames #romance

Genevieve Grimm's story to be independent from Ophelia's. There was just enough mentioned about Ophelia's story that I had a rough idea of the story but I am still tempted to go back to read it for the full story!
Back to Genevieve- she is a stubborn women set on finding out more about her mother and possibly find someone like her. Once she makes it to Enchantra's gates and meets Rowan Silver- the real story begins. I really enjoyed not only Genevieve & Rowan as characters but all of the other characters in the story which is a really delicate balance to accomplish. All of the siblings were interesting and fully developed- I would honestly read a book for each of Rowan's siblings. Not only were the characters enjoyable but I enjoyed the balance of romance (both dark and intense) with the rest of the story revolving around the house games that Genevieve finds herself trapped in. The ending was a lovely twist that I was NOT expecting either!

Ideal for readers who enjoy dark, romantic fantasies where survival hinges on perilous alliances and forbidden attraction in a treacherous, magical world.

Words cannot express how much I loved this book. Phantasma was a solid story, but this one blew it away. Honestly wasn't sure what to expect going in but Rowin and Vivi were a wonderful duo. This twisted hide and seek with the Silvers had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Who knew devils enjoyed their own version of reality tv via mirrors? I really wish I could read this again for the first time.

Beyond excited to get a copy of this ARC from NetGalley, I couldn't have waited any longer to read it!

I had such a fun time reading this book! I had quite high expectations for Enchantra as Phantasma was one of my favorite reads of 2024. I think it’s important to know going into it that the vibe is different from Phantasma, still good, just different. There is still a game element but less gothic feeling. The romance in Enchantra is much sweeter and softer than Ophelia’s story. I loved getting to know Genevieve in Enchantra and cannot wait to continue when the next book comes out!

Thank you NetGalley for providing this ARC.

Thank you Second Sky/Forever for the gifted digital ARC!

I have seen nothing but glowing reviews for this book and it makes me feel like I read a completely different book than everyone else? The formula was largely the same as Phantasma's (and I LOVED that book) but this one just didn't deliver for me. I wasn't into the game aspect at all.

I also had a really hard time with Genevieve. As a character she felt very contradictory and naive, but damn it if you were gonna treat her that way.

The story did get a tiny bit of redemption at the end for an unexpected twist. Considering how long the rest of the book was, though, it wrapped up a little too quickly for my liking, and left something to be desired. Nevertheless, I'm fairly certain the series will continue, and I'll continue to read it.

Enchantra pub date is April 8.

Thank you to NetGally for providing me an advanced reader's copy of Enchantra.
Enchantra is a stunning follow-up to Phantasma, deepening its character development and world-building from Genevieve Grimm's perspective. The characters evolve in meaningful, heartfelt ways, with each decision and growth arc feeling natural and impactful. The world itself is richly crafted, with every setting brimming with magic and history, pulling you deeper into its mysterious realm. Tying perfectly into the first book, Enchantra expands on Phantasma's themes and mysteries without relying too heavily on it, creating an engaging and immersive experience. It’s a captivating read that fans of Phantasma will thoroughly enjoy.
This book is a triumph of both character-driven storytelling and world-building, offering a rich, immersive experience that fans of Phantasma will absolutely love. If you’re looking for a book that will pull you in, make you care deeply about its characters, and keep you wondering what’s coming next, Enchantra is a must-read.

Dark Fantasy Romance

Feeling lost under her sister’s shadow, Genevieve Grimm accepts an invitation to Italy, hopeful to meet someone as lost as her. Instead, she’s met with hostility from Rowin Silver, the owner’s arrogant son, and stumbles into Enchantra, a deadly game of hide and seek where the losers are trapped in Hell for a whole year and are released only to play again the next year. To survive, Genevieve teams up with Rowin in a fake marriage, but as their rivalry turns to attraction, she realizes he’s hiding secrets. Now, she’s caught in not just one dangerous game, but two: Enchantra and the one Rowin is playing with her heart.

🌷Shadow x sunshine
🌷Familiars
🌷"Touch her and die"

Thank you, NetGalley, for the advanced copy of this book! All opinions are my own.

I must admit, I was afraid I wouldn’t like this book because I found Genevieve highly unlikable in Phantasma. However, I ended up enjoying it a lot—and I even found that Vivi wasn’t that bad! This book is definitely slower than Phantasma, and I felt that the rounds of the Hunt were less intriguing and complex than those in the first book.

That said, I think the romance and the found family trope were much more developed, which is why I loved it! The Silver family is fascinating, each member possessing a unique power and being literally willing to die each year for the greater good. I can only hope we’ll see them again because I’m highly interested in a few of the Silver brothers.

The atmosphere was immaculate and felt like a breath of fresh air compared to the gruesome tone of book one. I loved that every sibling had a familiar, and I especially adored Rowin’s familiar, Umbra. My only complaint is that not much happened in the first 40% of the book—the real action didn’t kick in until the halfway mark.

I adored the audiobook of Phantasma last year so I was very excited to get the ARC for Enchantra as well this year! I binged it in less than a day because it was just as amazing as Phantasma!

With the world already established in Phantasma, Enchantra wastes no time in getting into the action with the Silver family. Enchantra has some of my favourite tropes in it - marriage of convenience, forced proximity and dangerous games so it's not a surprise that I absolutely devoured this. On top of that, I just love Genevieve - she's curvy, confident, flirtatious and stubborn. When MMC Rowin told her that her body wouldn't be anything he hadn't seen before, she declared "It is something you've never seen before. Me. And I'm spectacular." Oh, I just love her.

Speaking of the Wicked Games series as a whole, I read the epilogue several times for clues to the next book. I am so excited for it. And now theres the Silver family, I'm praying for more of their stories!

Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy from NetGalley, but this is my voluntary and honest review.

The author masterfully mixes elements of suspense, romance, and dark fantasy, creating a captivating story that is impossible to put down. The plot unfolds in twists and turns, keeping readers guessing at every step throughout the book. The games in the book were different but so fun to read about! The family dynamics are filled with treachery and manipulation, adding an additional layer of suspense to the already tense situation.
