I was a little hesitant to read this one because I LOVED Phantasma so much. It was so original, and dak and kept me on the edge of my seat through each night that I just wasn't sure this new story could follow that up but boy was I wrong. This was AMAZING. It had all the best part of Phantasma, with Devils, paranormal creature, spooky mansion with enchanted rooms and a new game that draws you in and keeps you hanging and then adds one of my favorite trop; found family. SOO GOOD. Genevieve is such a lost soul that hids her emotions behind good fashion and kinda of a vapid personality but her travels to Silver Mansion and getting caught up in the Hunt was just like her. She always finds her self in some kind of trouble.
I loved getting to know all the Silver siblings and even though they were all killing each other you can feel the respect and love for each other. They were really stuck in a nasty loop with having to participate in the Hunt every year to save their mother.
While I loved all the levels in Phantasma I loved the use of seemingly kid like games that are so evil and cause such anxiety. I love that Rowin and Genevieve ended up in so many tight spaces, locked rooms and places where they found their attraction hard to deny.
I also need to talk about what I think I am loving most about the writing in this series. The world of Devils, paranormal creatures, historical dress and travel but modern speech and items just make the world easy to become immersed in the story without getting bogged down in fantasy world or a historical world. It is so easy to suspend your disbelief and just enjoy the word and characters and story. It is very different than other novels like this and it is done so well.
The last part of the story is leaving us with a good chance of another novel in this world/story and I am all there for it. Can't wait.

At first I was worried that this would just feel like a repeat of Phantasma. Trapped in a magic house, going through a series of trials and knowing the fmc would fall in love with some paranormal being. Despite all those similarities, I really liked that it felt different and I wasn’t as annoyed by Genevieve’s character as I was expecting to be. Just like Phantasma, the tension and build-up of romance was perfect, and Rowin had me giggling and kicking my feet multiple times (Exhibit A: Worshipping is not usually in my nature but for whatever time you remain in my bed, I will make it your shrine”). Some of the plot twists towards the end should’ve been somewhat obvious but I did not see them coming one bit. I really like way the ending sets up the potential for book 3 and I really hope we get one soon, although I’m not sure who the main character would be.
Thank you so much to netgalley, the author and Second Sky/Forever for providing me with an arc in return for an honest review. All thoughts expressed here are my own.

Thank you net galley for sending this! I loved this, the authors writing was again incredible, much like the first! I highly recommend this and cannot wait to read more by this author

It was a fun read. Better than Phantasma. You can skip the first book. This can be read as a standalone. The romance is much better and I really enjoyed both main characters.

Enchantra, the second book in the Wicked Games series, was an absolute delight to read! After loving the first book, Phantasma, I wondered if this one would hit the mark, but honestly, Enchantra exceeded all my expectations. This time, we follow Genevieve, Ophelia's sister, as she's seeking answers about her mother left unresolved by their mother's untimely passing. Under the guise of her mother, Genevieve has been in correspondence with a Mr. Barrington Silver and receives an invitation to visit him. Little did she know, this decision would lead her down a thrilling and unexpected path. Overall, this was a wonderfully entertaining story that I just couldn't put down. I don't know which book I enjoyed more, the first one or this one, but I'm very much looking forward to the third book!

Enchantra to me was a solid book. Unlike Phantasma, this one felt less serious even though the FMC’s life was on the line, if that makes sense LOL. It felt lighter, and I found myself thoroughly entertained by the Silver siblings. They were unique with individual personalities, which is good considering there were quite a few of them and therefore sometimes it’s hard to diversify that many characters. I loved Rowin, he was a brooding and grumpy MC. He contrasted Vivi’s happy nature, and I absolutely loved that he was pierced everywhere haha. The spicy time they engaged in was ehem memorable. I also really enjoyed the familiars they had around, the vibe and overall ambiance of this gothic themed story.
I did find the villain a bit cartoonish and flat, sort of bland. To that end, the games they played also were kind of boring. Too much hide and seek and sitting in their rooms chilling. I’m not sure what I was expecting but I definitely needed something more. Some higher stakes, some perilous situations. Even when you died in these games it felt underwhelming since we even got to go to Hell and see the dead characters around as if nothing had happened…
The ending was also abrupt and anticlimactic. If I didn’t enjoy myself with the Silver siblings and the familiar shenanigans I probably would have been annoyed to have read the whole story only to get that ending. But everything combined made an overall good story. Am I desperate to pick up the next one? No, but I’ll certainly read it when I can to see which sibling is next and what trouble they get into!
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me this Arc.
Grade
4/5 ⭐ overall
4/5 💗 romance
4/5 🌶️ spice

I received a copy of this from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
I really thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! Genevieve and Rowin are just *chef's kiss*. Their banter. His shadows. Rowin is just, so sexy, amiright?
The siblings were also so great in their own respects. Who knew a bloody game of hide and seek with immortals in a magical mansion would work, but it did. I really had fun reading this, even though it was gorey (though not as gorey as Phantasma). and the sex scenes are spicy! Glad to have read this one!

Love, Love, Loved this book! Rowin and Genevieve's characters, banter and story might have topped Blackwell and Ophelia's. I would definitely recommend both books!

There is an audience for this book somewhere but... unfortunately it is not me. I throughly enjoyed Phantasma and kicked my feet like a child when the publisher sent me a copy of this book, I wanted to experience the same level of joy (or more for this book) but it left me disappointed.
“Sometimes I think it’s best not to chase after things. Sometimes all we can do is let them go and hope they come back on their own.”
The spice could have hit the mark but it felt forced and out of place at times - I got to the point where I skipped most of it because it made me cringe.
I tried with every fiber of my being to like Genevieve but the more I read, the more obnoxious her character felt to me. I root for those that are the "black sheep" of the family but it almost felt like it was her only personality trait. That... and... sex. Her character was confusing, not complex. I found myself gravitating towards the side characters (Sevin, I am looking at youuuu👀) more than I was interested in the FMC.
This story had so much potential but overall, it fell flat for me. I am left with more questions than answers. More often than not, aside from the story taking place in a house with a hedge maze and hell, I continuously found myself forgetting she was no longer in New Orleans or that the setting really changed at all! I wish there was more distinction in the dialect with the characters so I felt more immersed in the story and setting.

I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.

Somehow this book was even more amazing than the first! I love everything about it, especially the wide range of characters. Kaylie does a fantastic job with writing romantasy and balancing both genres perfectly. I can’t wait for the next one!!!

This was everything I loved in phantasma and more. I love how the competition has a different twist than other series I’ve read. I would love to continue to see books on the mmcs siblings.

Enchantra was one of my most anticipated releases for this spring, and it did not disappoint. While it took me a bit longer to get into the story than it did in Phantasma, I quickly found myself unable to put the second book in this series down. From heart wrenchingly tender moments, to moments consumed by lust, A game of murder, a fake marriage, sexy shadows, a MMC with piercings and a FMC who isn't afraid to get a little bloody and you get a thrilling love story.

“Enchantra” Where passion is a weapon, and survival is anything but guaranteed.
If you thought Phantasma was gripping, Enchantra will knock the air right out of your lungs. From the moment I turned the first page, I was absolutely hooked—drawn into a world where danger lurks in the shadows and romance is a gamble with deadly stakes.
Genevieve and Rowin’s chemistry is off the charts. Their reluctant alliance, simmering tension, and high-stakes deception made every interaction electric.
It’s enemies-to-lovers at its finest—fiery, intense, and utterly addicting. And the setting? A cursed game within a grand Italian palace dripping in gold and secrets. The hide-and-seek element kept me guessing until the very last page, making every twist feel like a jolt to the heart.
Enchantra isn’t just a fantasy romance—it’s an immersive experience that had me questioning every character's motives, second-guessing every move, and praying Genevieve and Rowin would make it out alive. If you love stories that blend magic, danger, and intoxicating attraction, this book is a must-read.
Thank you so much Netgalley, Second Sky and Forever for providing me with the eARC!!

I ate this up! I loved Phantasma and this was even more fun. I loved the Silver's and I loved the banter and the games. It was giving fantasy Ready or Not and it was so much fun. I love the idea of a interconnected standalone fantasy series as well. I can't wait to see who we will follow next. (Sevin pls)

Enchantra by Kaylie Smith is a darkly seductive whirlwind of fantasy, danger, and desire that plunges readers into a cursed Italian palace where a deadly game of hide and seek blurs the lines between survival and seduction. Genevieve is a fierce and witty heroine who refuses to back down—even when faced with the infuriatingly brooding Rowin, whose sharp edges hide more than a few secrets. Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic crackles with tension, made even more delicious by the high stakes of a magical competition that feels as lush and sinister as the setting itself. With spellbinding prose and steamy chemistry, Enchantra is a must-read for fans of twisted fairytales, ruthless families, and romance that burns even in the face of Hell.

RATING: 3/5 STARS
I didn't enjoy this one as much as Phantasma but I did like the mysterious atmosphere! The romance wasn't that memorable for me though it was compelling enough to keep me reading. I'm on the fence about picking up Kaylie Smith's next book.

Kaylie did it again! I was lucky enough to snag an arc of both Phantasma and Enchantra and absolutely devoured them both. Kaylie has a unique writing style and I can't get enough! Thank you NetGalley for the arc!

I read Phantasma in January and really enjoyed it, and I was glad to be able to read the next book in the series as I also really enjoyed it.
From the beginning, I was captivated and unable to put the book down. The entire time, I was on the edge of my seat! Rowington Silver and Genevieve find themselves in a fabricated romantic relationship when she enters Enchantra in an attempt to win the game. This series is replete with action, intrigue, unexpected twists, and an astonishing conclusion. I highly recommend this series! I eagerly anticipate discovering the next chapter in this captivating universe.

While you can read this book without reading the first standalone in the series, Phantasma, I recommend you read both. This was such a fun read. This book has enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, a marriage of convenience, all of our favorite tropes. The chemistry, the slow burn, all perfection. We had dysfunctional twisted family dynamics with high stakes suspense, and of course romance. I enjoyed the banter/chemistry, the world building, the tension. I enjoyed how different the games were compared to Phantasma, such a fun read.
