We finally have Genevieve’s story!
I honestly didn’t know how it was possible to bring the same energy of Phantasma to Vivi’s story, but with Enchantra, it definitely delivered.
Genevieve’s on the hunt for answers and a place she feels she belongs. Enter a shadow wielding, tattooed immortal Wraith, a dysfunctional family (complete with animal side kicks), who are chained to a yearly game labelled ‘The Hunt’, a Devil, and the glorious estate of Enchantra, with its hedge mazes and secret passageways nestled in the Italian countryside of Tuscany.
Our shadow-wielding, tattoo-covered Wraith, Rowin, did everything he could to keep Vivi from getting too close to Enchantra, given the timing of her arrival. But Vivi’s stubbornness landed her right where he didn’t want her to be.
Now she’s stuck in the middle of The Hunt, a twisted, annual death match where the resident family goes full Hunger Games for some reality tv style entertainment for Hell’s devils. Her one shot at surviving? Marry the shadow-wielding stranger and hope they both survive 🫣
I LOVED Vivi. She was no damsel in distress, and waited on no man to save her. With a fiery personality, curves for days and stubbornness that could rival my own, she was a breath of fresh air to read about.
Rowin’s possessive streak in this book? Chef’s kiss. No matter how hard he tried to play it cool with Vivi, the man couldn’t help himself. Add in the shadow-wielding powers and the tattoos? Yeah, Kaylie knew exactly what kind of menace she was creating 😏
There was a lot more romance in this book compared to Phantasma. As Vivi and Rowin are married for the sake of Vivi’s mortal life, their relationship needed to work for them to survive. There’s vulnerability, COMMUNICATION (add a star for that alone) and puddle-inducing acts of service. I could not get enough.
I’m so excited to see where the Wicked Games series goes next!

There is something about Kaylie’s writing that is so addicting and good to me. I fear no one does it like she does!!!!!!
Genevieve just makes sense to me. As a younger sister, o relaaatteee to how she feels about her mother and Ophelia’s relationships and her own. The desire to want to find yourself, to not relate to how your family feels. She’s just so relatable. I will defend her with my life.
ROWIN!!!!! ROWINGTON SILVER. hey so this is the hottest man. The “my wife vibes” are immaculate truly. Hes everything you want for a MMC… a lip ring, dark hair, and tattoos. Possessive but not controlling. Always ready to please Genevieve. Please he’s so hot and everything to me.
To me, this felt a bit easier to digest gore wise. I am the world’s biggest baby okay so Phantasma was WILLDDD to me. And the blood scene was hot but also freaked me out. Whereas this one just had me feeling hot fr. The mirror scene is !!!!!!!!!!!
Kaylie Smith is and always will be an icon to me. An auto buy author forever!

I didn’t think I could love a book as much as I loved Phantasma and this was absolutely incredible. High stakes, filled with demons, and this complex, devilish Silver family.

Imaginative, dark, tense, and as with Phantasma, strangely romantic. Ophelia's sister faces her own trials while looking for secrets of the necromancer legacy. But all is not as she plans - devils and demons, trials and deals, and surviving a yearly hunt among wraiths changes everything. And yes, still strangely romantic.

Enchantra -
I am absolutely spellbound by Enchantra! I adored Phantasma and loved Enchantra equally as much!
Following Vivi & Rowins story was full of as many, if not MORE twists and turns as Phantasma was.
Kaylee does an incredible job of creating such unique worlds and bringing these characters stories to life. The way she pours so much authenticity into her character relationships makes them feel so relateable. Each character has their own flaws and personality traits that some authors cab struggle putting into words. With Vivi and Rowin though, each interaction or inner dialogue felt very unique to them which in turn made it easier to sympathise with them individually.
The premise of Enchantra was also quite reverting, I was instantly drawn into the story and the struggles Vivi faced just getting into Enchantra. The author Kaylee has a beautiful way of not, in layman's terms, ' info dumping ' . We don't get a whole bunch of information right at the start, instead it's expertly weaved through the story in a organic way.
There were a couple of plot holes I'm not sure if maybe I misread something or didn't fully grasp the meaning that irked me a little, more so when the story was at its peak.
[[[ SPOILER ALERT ]]] Specifically when Knox said he would take all Vivis memories when she left his vault - he also said all the other siblings had also agreed to this in the past, to keep his treasures a secret. So how was Vivi able to recall the Soul Locket when she created the plan with Rowin & Grave? Also at the start of the book another sibling also mentioned another treasure they had their eye on and were after that if they won? How did either remember if they made a deal all their memories would be wiped after they left the vault?
Other than that, I really really enjoyed the book! I loved the brutality of the siblings killing each other in such creative ways, it really drove home how they had been trapped in this cycle for so long that everything else had already been attempted.
I found the romance aspect of the story quite fresh and I loved how Vivi was so self assured and proud of who she was. In her words, ' Obviously ' 😅🥰.
Thankyou so much allowing me the privilege of reading this as an ARC, I have absolutely LOVED reading this series so far!

Absolute crack! Whatever Kaylie has laced into this series has made it an unstoppable obsession. I'm more in love with Genevieve’s story than her sister’s! I absolutely love it when sequels are better than their predecessor. I’m so excited that there will be more from this series & can’t wait to get my hands on them!

Absolutely loved this book!!!!!! Rowin is absolutely everything you would want out of a book boyfriend! Can’t wait not wait for the next book she releases!!!!!

If you talked to me about books since last year, there's no way you weren't told Phantasma was one of my favourite reads in 2024. Enchantra follows right where that left off, with the same energies and I'm so here for it.
Marriage of convenience with dysfunctional found family? Just when I thought things couldn't get better than book 1! Absolutely amazing and entertaining and so much fun!
I just love, love, love all the fun, dark, twisty masquerade balls and animal companions and all the jazz that comes with the deadly situation Genevieve finds herself in.
Also, Genevieve is amazing. I loved Ophelia and now I love her sister, too. And I love Rowin and his full touch her and... vibes.
If you love dark, twisted romance and gothic settings, this is for you.

This is the 2nd book of Wicked Games. I enjoyed the first book a lot so of course had to sign up for this book.
Genevieve got an invitation for a place in Italy. There she meets Rowin and he doesn't want her there and slams the door in heer face but she finds a way in.
Rowin and his family are playing a deadly game and she is caught in it, In order for her to win she needs Rowin's help and they must make it look like they are in love.
There are so many deadly games ahd Rowin's family tries to kill her.
It s fast paced and alot of thrills throughout the book. Rowin and Genevieve have an attraction that they both are fighting.
Thank you to NetGalley and Second Sky for the book to review.

HOW WAS THIS BETTER THAN PHANTASMA?? HOW KAYLIE???😩😍😍
I absolutely loved Rowin, adding him to my top 10 book boyfriends immediately. I can’t wait for book 3 in the Wicked Games series, I’m getting the vibe that it might be about Lucy? Or maybe Ellen. GAH 😩 I need it now!
My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️ (Rowin is…🤌🏼)
Some tropes to expect:
💀 Forced Marriage
💀 Fake Relationship
💀 Deadly Trials
💀 Enemies to Lovers
💀 Shadow Daddy
💀 Past Relationship Trauma
💀 Indentured Servitude
💀 Plus-size Representation
Thank you so much to Forever/Second Sky and Kaylie Smith for this eARC and chance to read and give my honest review! I can’t wait for book 3 and know that I will request it IMMEDIATELY the second it’s available.

I was excited when I saw that Kaylie Smith was coming out with another Wicked Games book because I enjoyed "Phantasma". From the start, I was hooked into this story! I couldn't wait to see how Genevieve's own adventures would play out as we only had glimmers of her in the last. Kaylie Smith writes an immersive world that makes me feel as if I am walking along the pages with her characters, for what the estate was, it sounded like a lovely place to visit. Rowin and Genevieve were so fun to watch their relationship unfold on the pages, fake dating/marriage is one of the tropes I gravitate towards! While this story can be completely read on it's own, I liked meeting back up with Ophelia too. I have not been able to stop thinking about this book since I finished. Thank you to Second Sky and Forever Pub for an advanced copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own!

Absolutely loved this story! I was so happy that it didn't have the same story just different characters but a whole new fresh take on this world. I am so in love with these characters and world!
Also, that is a beautiful cover!

Hell, am I in for a book hangover!
I absolutely adored Phantasma, and now I am absolutely besotted with Enchantra!
This time round, it's Ophelia's little sister Genevieve's turn to be the heroine of the hour, when she decides to pay a visit to her mother's old friend Barrington Silver's estate 'Enchantra' in Italy. Unfortunately, it turns out that the family is cursed to play a game to the death once a year and low and behold, Genevieve's visit could not have come at a worse time.
The tension is high, and the game is afoot in this thrilling (and spicy) romantasy right from the start. Due to being the second installment set in this world, we get thrown right into Genevieve arriving at the estate without needing the heavy world building that Phantasma started with.
The Silver siblings all have their own sense of self, and their own individual characterisation, although I'd have liked to see more from Wells, Covin and Remi. Hopefully in future books set in this world we will see more from them as well as Salem and Ophelia.
And if you like broody, tattooed and pierced shadow daddies? Rowington Silver DELIVERS!
Thank you so much to secondsky/forever for the advance copy of this book via Netgalley.

I wasn't sure how to feel about Vivi after Phantasma, because we only see her through Ophelia's eyes, but her confidence and her voice were so enjoyable to read! And Rowin's stoic protectiveness won me over as well. Maybe it's the marriage of convenience trope, but I enjoyed Enchantra more than the first book. Exciting, dangerous, and swoonworthy adventure.

This ids book two of the Wicked Games Series. I went into Enchantra thinking that I was going to be getting another Phantasma; but what I got was something completely different but with some of the same supernatural beings. Enchantra really focuses on Genevieve and the hunt. I love that Salem and Ophelia do make an appearance, but they are not the focus of the story. This gave me Hunger Games vs Hawthorne Series vibes. I really loved the seriousness of each of the games and what was at stake, but I also loved the playfulness of the siblings and the comic relief that you could find amidst the seriousness of the hunt.

I was absolutely entranced by the hunt, the deals, the games picked and the characters in this one. Right from the start I couldn't put this one down and I finished it in a matter of 2 sittings. The pacing was slow in the beginning, where there was some decent world building and character introduction but as the story progressing the pacing got faster and faster. If you are a spice fan; you will enjoy this one because there is plenty of spice!

I listened to this one via audiobook while going between my physical copy from BOTM to my eARC. It was narrated by Laura Horowitz and just love what she does with this series. She is the perfect fit for it! The audio is perfect so if you are thinking of picking up this series - be sure to check out the audio!

I love this series. I highly recommend checking this out if you are a romantasy fan but also a horror fan. There is enough blood, guts, thrills and chills to go around in this. I cannot wait to see where Kaylie goes with the third in this series. Be sure to check this out! Huge thank you to NetGalley, Kaylie Smith, Bookouture Audio and Second Sky for the ALC and eARC in exchange for my honest review.

"The light is wherever you are."
I LOVED THIS BOOK SM!! It was one of my most anticipated read of this year and it did not disappoint!! I still remember how much I loved phantasma when I read it last year and this one is equally amazing!! Everything in this book was perfect. The word buliding and the pacing was absolutely perfect and the vibes were immaculate. The entire hunt was so chaotic and fun even though I was scared to death for vivi. but she handled it really well and why fear when Rowin is here haha. Their chemistry and banter was everything!! I loved it sm. Rowin is the hottest shadow daddy ever!! Can we talk about his piercings?!! 🥵
It's safe say that I am completely obsessed with kaylie's writing. I can't wait for what next in this series!!
Thank you so much second sky books for the gifted digital copy!!

I was very excitedly accepted to read and review this on NetGalley. I absolutely love phantasma so I was super happy to read this.
.
From the first page I was hooked. It’s thrilling, exciting, twisty, strange characters. Good strong storyline. And of course enemies to lovers 👌
.
Another amazing read, absolutely loved it. I felt the ending was a little rushed again but didn’t ruin the read for me.

BOOK REVIEW: Enchantra by Kaylie Smith💜
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
Cover Rating: 5/5
Favorite Quote: “I’m a creature of Hell, worshipping is not usually in my nature. But for whatever time you remain in my bed, I will make it your shrine.”😍😍😍
My Thoughts: This book gave me everything I neededddd. Marriage of convenience, so many interesting characters, great plot, romance, and deadly games?! Yes!! I loved getting to learn more about Genevieve. She is a sassy queen and she didn’t back down from anyone or anything. The romance between her and Rowin Silver made my heart happy! The banter between them was perfection and the sacrifices that were made was the true definition of love.😭
I thought this book wouldn’t live up to my love for Phantasma, but I fear that it was even better than book 1! Don’t get me wrong, Blackwell and Ophelia are still my babies, but Genevieve and Rowin were everything I needed. I could’ve read this in one sitting, that’s how addicting the writing and plot was. And Kaylie Smith’s endings will forever have a chokehold on me. So much happens to the point where I’m ZOOMING through the pages to get answers. I just loved this one so much.

Thank you so much to Second Sky and Forever Publishing for giving me an e-ARC of this book to be able to read in advance and review! I was so excited to get a chance to read this one!!
Wow! I really enjoyed this read. I think I may have enjoyed it more than Phantasma? There is something about Genevieve and Rowington Silver that hits different. Maybe I just like a bad boy? (the answer is yes. I do).
I was so excited to see Genevieve out on her own and to really get more about her and her personality. I loved watching Ophelia go into Phantasma and wanting to save Genevieve but that was really the only POV we have of her. So if I'm honest I didnt maybe have the BEST opinion of the smallest Grimm sibling. But this book really showed my her other side. I loved Genevieve's sassy side and as Rowin referred to it, her bratty side. This girl knows what she wants and she is not taking no for an answer and I was here for ittt.
I think learning more about why Genevieve was searching for Enchantra and going out on her own was really important because she was so eager to find others like her and find her place in the grand scheme of things much like her sister had. And then watching her fall into Enchantra and its own grip was hilarious. It felt like such a hardheaded person thing to do. Refusing to take no for answer and then ending up knee deep in a bad situation. I cackled.
Rowington Silver was really bringing the whole "my wife" vibes to another level. Obviously, the forced marriage trope at play here was a 10/10. It was like they both obviously didn't want it but dealt with that being their situation and yet every time Rowin called Genevieve his wife, I giggled and kicked my little feet. I really enjoyed our MMC this whole book. He knew just how to deal with Genevieve's bossy self was great. I think also learning about how his whole family was in these games with Knox and how he had been winning for the past 15 years was crazy.
I really felt for the Silver family and the siblings that had to kill each other every year in order to be free of Hell. I found this portion of the story so intriguing and I was dying to know more about each Silver sibling. I am hoping that Kaylie will give us more in the future about the Silvers and their deal with Knox and of course their mother and the Crimson Rot.
The ending had me plowing through the last chapters and when the Epilogue ended I was shocked. I think that was the hardest part of the entire read only because it felt a bit more rushed than the rest of the book. Like when Genevieve had lost her memories and then there were weeks that passed and then she did, I was a little confused. But then as well as this idea that they were still looking for the cure for the Crimson Rot for Rowin's mom. I also would have loved to have more information on Rowin and his mortality since he gave up his immortality to bring Genevieve back. I don't know I was a little confused and would really like to know more about that. Crossing my fingers that Kaylie is bringing back some more info about the Silver Family and their current plight!!
Also, the spice in this book... It was like spicy but not like ridiculously so and it was well written spice in my opinion. Add this next shadow daddy to the roster?
