THIS IS HOW YOU WRITE A SEQUEL!
If you thought Phantasma was incredible, prepare to have your mind blown! This story follows Vivi's experience trying to find others who knew her Mother and what it was like to grow up with a necromancer. She ends up meeting a devil, getting involved in a deathly game of luck and falling for the least expected man.
The spice in this book was next level and I loved every second of the suspenseful tension!

Five stars.
Phantasma was so good. Enchantra might be even better. I wasn’t sure how we could keep the same vibes and a competition without feeling to similar. This book stands on its own. I too would like to be part of the Silver family.
Genevieve feels fresh for this type of story. Yes, she has powers. But she’s not overpowered or overskilled. She likes her pretty dresses and nicer things. She’s trying to find her place in the world and shows up on the doorstep of Enchantra. I loved Rowington. A broody man who doesn’t want to fall for her. He was complex and I loved how he let Genevieve slip behind some of his walls. Rowin and Genevieves romance and spice was well written and unputdownable. The competition was interesting and high stakes as well. I loved this read and couldn’t put it down. I’ll definitely be reading anything else this author writes.

Thank you so much to Second Sky for my arc. All opinions are my own

I loved Phantasma… but I adored Enchantra.

I don’t know how Kaylie Smith has done it, but she’s somehow written my favourite sequel ever. The stakes are higher, the emotions deeper, and the chemistry between Genevieve and Rowin? Off the charts.

I fell completely in love with Genevieve’s strength and fire, with Rowin’s maddening charm, and with the tangled, aching beauty of the Silvers’ complicated family dynamic. Every page gripped me. Every twist cut deeper. This book had me in a chokehold from start to finish.

Enchantra isn’t just a sequel - it’s a masterpiece of tension, romance, and deadly enchantment. I need more. Immediately.

Thank you thank you thank you for the advanced read!

Phantasma was one of my absolute favorite books that I read last year so I was soooo excited for Enchantra! It was one of my most anticipated releases of the year and I am so happy to say that it did not disappoint at all!

I don’t know what magic Kaylie Smith puts into her books to make them as addicting as they are, but I absolutely could not put them down!

Admittedly, I was a little skeptical that I would love Rowin and Vivi as much as I did Blackwell and Ophelia, but they definitely won me over! I loved Rowin’s broody, grumpy-with-a-good-heart, strong and silent, protective vibes and Vivi’s bold, confident, sassy, spitfire personality. I enjoyed their games of Two Truths and a Lie and thought that was a cute way for them to get to know each other better! I thought they had good banter and chemistry! Also, I loved the ending! ( I did also enjoy the cameos with Blackwell and Ophelia though!🥰)

Like the first book in the series, the vibes in this one were on point! It has a masquerade ball, a labyrinth hedge maze, secret rooms and passages, demons and magic, diary entries, a family curse, secrets and lies, deadly games, animal familiars, chaotic side characters, a dysfunctional and murderous (found) family, a high-stakes marriage-of-convenience, and steamy shadow play. 😍

Enchantra had a bit of a different feel to it than Phantasma (less of the gothic/horror feel, a bit more darkly whimsical?), but it also had a similar energy in that it was just as exciting, dangerous, suspenseful, romantic, steamy, and twisty. Rather than twisted trials like we got in Phantasma, we get a deadly game of hide and seek between cursed siblings in this one. I thought the way she did this felt really fun, original, clever! The dynamics between the Silver siblings were so dysfunctional and complex…they are so chaotic and I loved it. (Also, their ridiculous names made me laugh haha). I adored Ellin and Sevin (Sevin may have even been my favorite character, actually lol—based on some of the potential set up provided, I’m hoping the next book will be about him?!🤞)

I know this one JUST came out, but I already can’t wait for book 3! I love this series! Seriously, I basically inhale these books. 😍

Thank you to Kaylie Smith, NetGalley, Forever, and Second Sky for providing the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

If there's one thing Kaylie Smith is going to do, it's suck you in, make you sweat, and spit you back out a complete MESS when it's all over. I would drink these books through a straw if I could.

Genevieve is who I want to be in life. She is just so relatable and fun I loved it. And Rowin was perfect and broody and the banter between them was absolutely hilarious!!

Enchantra by Kaylie Smith - 4.5🌟

The story was phenomenal & I loved it even more than Phantasma. The plot, characters, and spice were SO GOOD. The premise of mandatory games of hide and seek to the death with your siblings each year intrigued me! Gives off Hunger Games vibes for sure. The tension and dynamic of Rowin and Genevieve was perfect. These characters were honest, stubborn, and had so down bad for each other. LOVED LOVED LOVED.

Also, I don’t know I’ve read a book where shadow daddy hands have been executed SO PERFECTLY. I repeat, the BEST shadow daddy hands I have ever read 🥵🥵

What’s inside👇🏼
💜 Deadly game of hide & seek
🖤 Marriage of convenience
💜 Spicy slowburn
🖤 Hate to Love
💜 Devils & Demons
🖤 Shadow daddy HANDS

Enchantra by Kaylie Smith is the second installment in the "Wicked Games" series, blending elements of fantasy, romance, and high-stakes competition. The story follows Genevieve Grimm, who becomes entangled in a perilous game set in a cursed Italian estate.

I really liked its engaging characters and intricate plot. I also appreciate the development of Genevieve and Rowin's relationship, especially the chemistry and tension between them. The setting was amazing with its vivid descriptions of the Italian countryside and the atmospheric manor adding depth to the narrative

Overall, "Enchantra" offers a captivating blend of romance and fantasy, with a richly imagined setting and complex characters. I

Dare I say Rowin > Blackwell? You just can’t beat a broody dark haired shadow daddy with tattoos and piercings (in interesting places). Vivi is a confident, stubborn, and hilarious MC on a quest for answers about her family. I absolutely loved the marriage of convenience between them as they’re forced into a deadly competition with his entire family. It was giving Ready or Not with wraiths.

The reluctant allies to lovers romance was perfection and the spice was *chef’s kiss*. Rowin was just full of surprises. I also loved all of the different personalities of his family - they were hilarious and I absolutely need more of them. The game constantly had me on the edge of my seat and the ending was stressful but perfect. The cameos from Salem and Ophelia were amazing as well. I’ll be eagerly awaiting news about book three.

A big thank you to Forever and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Enchantra is an equally amazing sequel to Phantasma. I loved every single moment of it!
We get the same gothic, eerie and magical vibes which are found in the mansion Enchantra and with the same occult presence I loved in Phantasma! There are demons, wraiths, phantoms, familiars... the paranormal world really expanded in this book. The world really sucks you in and immerses you making you feel like you're in a fairytale turned wrong.

As for the romance...ummm Rowan and Genevieve literally have my whole heart. Literally all of my favorite tropes were in this book!
- Hate to love
- Forced proximity
- Marriage of convenience
- Deadly trials
This all lead to such a sizzling relationship full of heat and tension and a lot of amazing spice.

The ending was so sweet as well and I found that it wrapped up really well. I'm so excited for book 3!

This was so good! Enchantra was exactly what I expected it to be, and I had so much fun. We met Genevieve in Phantasma as the sister of Ophelia, and this time she is the star of the show (which I’m sure she would appreciate).

The vibes of this book quickly draw you in. Who wouldn’t want to be stuck in the Italian countryside with a house of hot immortals? And Rowin is life. I ended up reading almost half of this in one sitting without realizing it. The Hunt was a wild ride and I loved all the Silver siblings, even as ruthless as they are. The story subtly interconnects with Phantasma, so I’d suggest reading that first even though this can be a standalone.

I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Enchatra was such a fun and enchanting read. It followed the story of Genevieve after the events of Phantasma. I wasn’t sure how the story would continue, but we still see the same broody/dark MMCs and deadly games in Enchantra.

I really enjoyed the dynamics of the Silver family and how they are completely twisted and borderline psychotic but also supportive of each other. The ending is fantastic with a HEA but also a cliffhanger leading to book 3!

Fan-freaking-tastic!!! Once I picked this book up, I didn’t put it down! WOW, just wow! The vibes were vibing. A gothic mansion in Italy occupied by demons who have to fight their siblings for survival every single year, but there can only be one winner…

I was absolutely OBSESSED with Phantasma, and afraid Enchantra wouldn’t live up to my expectations. Boy was I wrong! This book was everything I could have hoped for and more. Genevieve and Rowin are the epitome of a perfect book couple. She’s sunshine, he’s gumpy and they fall into a marriage of convenience that turns out to be so much more!

Do not hesitate to pick this book up! It’s absolute perfection. I could stay here all day and sing its praises, but I digress. Just go read the book NOW!

Thank you so much NetGalley, Second Sky Books, and Kaylie Smith for the advance copy. If only you had seen my reaction when it arrived!

The inner scream I had when I received an e arc to read this! I loved Phantasma so was soooo excited to receive this arc read!!

I love Kaylie Smith’s writing, the detailing and descriptiveness about scenery, the characters, even down to the detailing about outfits (especially the stunning dresses Genevieve wore).

I love that this book wasn’t ’instant love’. It gradually progressed throughout the book. The fiery banter between Rowin and Genevieve was just *chefs kiss*. They’re both stubborn and hot headed and I loved reading along as their relationship progressed, how they began to develop feelings for each other and how they navigated this while going through all the different rounds and dangers of The Hunt.

The element of found family was just beautiful. The complexity of each character, how different all the siblings are (personalities, looks, different variations of wraiths) and the dysfunctional family unit - like seriously.. yeah they like you, might even love you (not looking at you Grave) but they’re also going to try to kill you.

‘I worry when you leave there will be no one left to see me’ 😩 Rowin Silver - there were moments where my heart just broke 😩

✨A broody, dark MMC - complete with tattoos and piercings 🫠
✨Feisty, funny, stubborn FMC
✨Marriage of convenience
✨‘Touch her and you die’ vibes
✨Found family

This book was such good fun! I loved it from start to finish!

My only thing is that I would have loved more of the back story with Barrington Silver and Tessie Grimm, and also more about what happened between Remi and Rowin.

𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲: Wicked Games, book 2: Enchantra
𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿: Kaylie Smith
𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁 + 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁: Ebook, 448 pages by Forever

💌 First of all, I would like to thank @NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ebook in exchange for a honest review. I requested this ebook because I had read Phantasma and absolutely loved the concept, so much that it became my favourite read of 2024.

📖 Enchantra is an adult fantasy romance in which we follow Genevieve, Ophelia's little sister, as she gets invited to Italy by a friend of her mom's and gets trapped into a game of hide and seek, where only one player can win and the rest will end up in Hell.

☠ I had loved the idea of a deadly game in book one, reminding me of a Caraval meets Throne of the Fallen mash-up, and Kaylie Smith did it again. I feel like they took the same concept and energy, but elevated it to the next level. Phantasma was a five-star book for me, and so is Enchantra (and I actually think this second book is better than book one?).
There is a bit of mystery, a bit of horror, a bit of romance, all in the same book. The plot feels predictable at first, but for some reason, I could not stop reading. I really enjoyed the secret rooms, the different games, the forced proximity between some characters, and more!
I loved the dynamics between every character, and Genevieve has to be one of my favourite female main characters. She questions everything, she is bold, she is curvy, she is sassy, and I really like her ; and don't even get me started on Rowington. Actually… clears throat Rowin is also one of the best male main characters. He is a grump, and he is better than those guys and their wingspan… this one has a shadow appendage 👀

Need more convincing to read this book? Here are the tropes: grumpy x sunshine, found family, fake dating and marriage of convenience, deadly games, cute familiars.

I am so happy I got to read this one early. I loved Genevieve in Phantasma so it was so great to get her POV. This book was intense and emotional and I just fell in love with it. It’s so unique and a fresh take in the fantasy world

Demon prince? ❌ Demon shadow daddy? ✅

I need Rowington Silver in such an unhealthy way I fear because OMG?????? The amount of toe wiggling I did everytime this man muttered "my wife" or "she's mine" should honestly be illegal but it's cool it's fine.

I absolutely devoured the crap out of this book and I genuinely think if you didn't find Phantasma for you, you'll enjoy Vivi and Rowin and the whole Silvers clan.

Thank you forever pub for the gifted e-arc all thoughts are my own 🫶🏼

5⭐️ book for me! I thought it couldn't get better than Phantasma but it actually did.
First of all the book is set in a Tuscany villa, and that is my home, so for me to see this representation instead of any other Italian location had me hooked. Did I want more about the location? Selfishly yes, but I also understand this wasn't the purpose of the book.
When it comes to plot, I found it way more fast-paced than Phantasma and got me invested in the story right from the first page.
The characters had a bit more depth to them as well (which is not to say the first book wasn't good in the characters front) and I was absolutely obsessed with Rowin. On the other hand the only negative thing for me was that I couldn't really connect with Genevieve, but that's just me picking a tiny detail, since not all FMCs can be the same or reflect my own standards.
The love story in this was also different from the first book, definitely less Insta-lusty which I appreciated massively. I lived for the little moments and the almost there, barely noticeable to the eye romantic gestures.

preparing to read this, I read the first book again. It was a hate-read. And I gotta say, I cannot bring myself to read this too, cause I expect the same kind of cheap garbage written for brainless readers. I do not know why anyone likes this story. The instalove, the trial being an illusion, bc she has help all the way and has to do basically nothing really, the poor world building, and the cheap similarities to caraval are just not good (i hate caraval as well btw.).
I refuse to waste my time on this. thank you
