This is my first book written by author Patricia Johns. I enjoyed her writing style.
The story revolves around 3 sisters, Hope, Faith and Elaine. They have inherited their Aunts antique store and have to run it for one year per their Aunts request.
Faith plays a prominent part in the story. Maybe a second chance with her ex-husband, Trent???
I always enjoy reading a story with an Amish theme. Her Amish Country Husband was a heartwarming and heartfelt read that I thoroughly escaping to.
Thank you Harlequin and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is the first book by Patricia Johns that I have read and it will not be my last. Sometimes there are expectations in a relationship that is hard to achieve but communication is always the key. This was a story about Trent and Faith’s second chance of romance. Can a love survive through so many differences? The love of family and friends are so evident in the story. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin allowing me to review this copy. Thank you to Patricia Jones for writing such uplifting stories.

Her Amish Country Husband by Patricia Johns was read thanks to NetGalley. Faith, Hope, and Elaine are sisters who inherited their aunt’s antique store. They have to run it together for one year. Trent is Faiths ex husband. He was hired by the aunt to rewire the building. In the two years since their divorce Trent is now raising his cousins little boy Tyke. Faith and Trent while helping his cousin grow closer together. This was a great read. I’m looking forward to the next book.

This is a second-chance romance where Faith moves back to her hometown in order to run her late Aunt Josephine’s antique store along with her two sisters, Hope and Elaine. Once back, Faith is forced to re-examine her feelings for her ex-husband Trent as they have to work closely on a project.
This is my first book by Patricia Johns and I loved it.
My favorite part of this story was all of the wonderful family surrounding Faith and Trent. Faith’s sisters are great and supportive, and it was nice to see such healthy sibling relationships on the pages, even when they would disagree. Trent has a lot of Amish family members, even though he is not part of that community, and they were supportive of him as well. Trent’s aunt and uncle shared great wisdom and love for Trent and Faith from their own experience with a long, happy marriage.
I also loved the small child, Tyke, who lives with Trent after his mother (Trent’s sister) passed seat unexpectedly. He was so sweet and his scenes were precious.
Overall this was a wonderful story and it sets up the next book quite well. I have to admit that certain aspects of the ending were shocking and unexpected to me-even a little bit emotional-but that just makes me want the next book all the more.

I'm loving this book so very much!
Such a fast paced story that will steal your heart from the very beginning until the end.
Faith and Trent two of the most stubborn people you'll ever want to meet. But end up loving at the same time!
Add in a sweet little boy and off we go!
I also loved how the Amish way of life is explained to us. Yes, even the Amish can squirrel away secrets of the heart.
I've always found them fascinating. A simple but yet hard way of life. In the world but not of it.
Johns is an excellent story teller. I love her characters and how she puts them through their trials and tribulations.
There is faith filled themes but not overly done which I absolutely adored. Gentle reminders that He is always there. We need only to seek Him.
2nd chance stories are my absolute favorite! It's why I loved this one so much! I simply couldn't put Faith and Trent down. They wouldn't let me!
Marriage can hurt but Marriage also takes work. It's not for the faint of heart. I should know. We all should know.
I was sad to see this beautiful story end. So many wonderful scenes that were my favorite and made me smile.
5 stars for a job well done! My heart was full and satisfied! I highly recommend
