Palmer writes about the adventure of following Jesus, wherever he leads. In expected and unusual ways, God is writing his own story through our obedience. The question is, do you expect direction if you are unwilling to take the next step you already know?

Brenda tackles the Journey of saying 'Yes" to the Lord and His leadings in a very relatable yet challenging and thought-provoking manner. Highlighting the benefits of saying "Yes" along with the common reasons why many don't and the paths she took when she did say "Yes". Working through her own journey of betrayal, moving to a new town and new work while intertwining characters of the bible supports the thought that often, one won't know the full details of the Lord's leading when called to make a decision. One is often required often to trust implicitly in His wisdom and knowledge of one's abilities and weaknesses when choosing to follow with a "Yes". I loved the phrase "if God has led you to a place, He will equip you too".

The Journey of Us is a great book for people at a crossroads and need to make a step of faith with God.
