Suitor Armor Vol 3 picks up with Lucia learnung more about her fairy heritage and what they do with her kind when they find out. These revelations weigh heavy on her and strain her relationships. Lucia begins to slowly lose herself and finds she can't go back to what she was.
In this volume, we see how fairies and elves have had to live. Lucia is beginning to question everything and everyone around her. She even finds herself hiding her feelings from Modeus. As the realization of the danger she is in continues to grow. She begins to hide her ears more readily. Her relatuonship with Modeus begins to strengthen and she finds that he is the only one that she doesn't have to hide herself from.
Lucia hits a tipping point and we see her relationship with Kersi begin to fray. Kersi is concerned that the way Lucia behaves and her questionable relationship with Modeus reflects on herself. She finds herself trying to push what she views as right on Lucia.
The art in this volume was stunning. I loved the colors of Lucia's wings and how her dress matched that. Even though she is trying to hide her fairy side more than ever, she is beginning to connect more with that part of herself. I think the artist did a great job of capturing her changing emotions as well. I am excited to see where the story goes next.

So was this volume meant to break my heart into pieces? Because it sure did. It feels like everything is falling apart for Lucia and she doesn’t know who she can trust except for Modeus. The wait for Volume 4 would be agonizing but it will be worth it because that ending needs way more answers. Everyone’s reaction was way too sad. But besides the mush, my favourite quote from Modeus was:
“I was created to kill. That is what I was told. But now I think… I was created for you.”
Ahhhhhhh the feels. How could a “monster” always say the right things omg.

This book was amazing the kingdom the emotions and the relationships was so good on another level. The art style is very good and i love the emotion in the art overall absolutely amaxing and i will continue the series.

Thank you very much to the publishers, the author and NetGalley for providing me with an e-arc of this book.
Actual rating : 4,25
Stunning art, rich world-building, and a touching story. I loved how Lucia gently teaches Modeus about emotions and the world—it’s sweet and meaningful. The plot is engaging with enough backstory to keep it intriguing, the characters are fun (Peres and Baynard are adorable!!), and the whole journey was a joy to read.
Can't wait to read more of this. Highly recommended!

This installment was absolutely heartbreaking from start to finish. The world building and character arcs keep getting better with each volume and the ending has left me desperate for more. The tension in this novel in particular was breathtaking and I hope it keeps ramping up.

I am so obsessed with the concept and execution of this series. Love it. I am down bad for this suit of armor, guys.

After learning about the lengths her people go to live a life without persecution, a fairy-in-hiding decides that she is going to learn magic to help free her people one day.
Vibes: Beauty and the Beast. Fern Gully.
Ahhh, the introduction and backstory of the villain begins! As I was reading through this one, with all of its stunning artwork, I felt the pressure begin to mount on the story. Our heroine is getting in deep, and it is becoming harder and harder to hide herself. Then, they throw in a love triangle! The sentient armor and out FMC are starting to get pretty cozy. And then, another potential suitor (pun totally intended) is added to the mix with the court mage. I want to ship the FMC to the mage, but you begin to feel that there is something else that is about to happen. Like maybe, he isn’t such a good guy after all.

oh man things are getting real. much more world building and honestly tragedy. having a good time but getting a lil stressed. Also catch me out here shipping a girl and her sentient suit of armor boyfriend.

This beautiful 3rd volume in the set truly lived up to the previous books. The style of drawing and the color expression make the reader fully in-golfed into the story. As the story goes, the colors play to the atmosphere in which brings depth to it. This envelopes the reader in emotions and understanding. In this volume, the history and truths were peaked at but not fully revealed. It gave clarity but with it came destruction. Not only of thought but of relationships with others. It was truly a beautifully heartbreaking story. This created a sense of eagerness to read what will transpire next!

This series continues to be a surprise. I am enjoying it so much that I keep being sad it is over when I read the last page. The art is absolutely breath taking and I adore the characters and relationships. The world and its history are very well written. Purpah is amazing at combining different emotions into the story. Some moments make you want to cry, others make you laugh or swoon. When I started this series I did not expect to fall in love with Modius, but I have!

Volume 3 continues to build on everything that’s been developing so far — slower in pace, but emotionally heavier. It focuses more on what the characters are going through internally, and it works well for where the story is heading.
What I liked:
🧚♀️ The character growth feels honest. No quick fixes, just steady changes.
⚔️ The world opens up a little more, adding depth without feeling overwhelming.
👑 Power dynamics at court are getting more complicated, and that tension is starting to show.
🎨 The art remains consistent and expressive, especially in the more emotional scenes.
A quiet but impactful volume. It doesn't try to do too much at once, and that gives the characters and themes room to breathe. Looking forward to where it goes next.

I loved this deeper look into the relationship of humans and fairies we got from this volume. Lucia has so much weighing on her now! Modeus continues to be a bright, supporting light in this story. I love their interactions together so much. The addition of Lord Ricon to the story has me very worried for the safety of Lucia and Modeus. He was a shifty character that no one seemed to like. This volume left me so stressed out at the end! The next one is going to start off with a bang. I love the bonus chapter of Baynard and Peres each volume has had. It helped as a mini palate cleanser for this book especially. I can't wait to read the next one!

Okay, we need the next volume ASAP—this cliffhanger is cliffhangin’ way too hard. Jokes aside, the series just keeps getting better. I'm absolutely loving Lucia and Modeus, and I can't wait to see how things develop between them!

Loved this just as I loved the first two books. Leaves on a cliffhanger and adds an extra bonus chapter at the end! Was very happy to see that.

I just love this series. The art is so good. I love the characters. The world is so fascinating to me

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an early e-arc. Wow this series in incredible and my current fixation. I love the hints of where this storyline is going and I can’t wait to get my hands on volume 4!

After visiting an illegal market, Lucia learns that she’s been living a very sheltered life. She also learns a secret that begins to unravel her past. With her newfound knowledge, she begins to feel extremely unsafe within the castle and around those she knows and loves. Amidst it all Modeus is a pillar for Lucia though behind those glowing eyes he’s beginning to process a plethora of new emotions that he isn’t quite sure what to make of.
.
What an emotional novel! Lucia faces several truths I don’t think she was quite ready for, but who ever is? I feel like this is all leading to a huge peak and the ending of this volume is looking like a big thing is happening soon.

As always, I enjoyed the beautiful artwork of this manga.
I look forward to reading the rest of this series

4 stars - It was really good
This volume contains chapters 39-51 of the webtoon comic. A bonus chapter featuring the continuation of Baynard and peres’ story is also included at the end.
This volume picks up right where the previous one ended. Lucia is at an illegal market on the outskirts of the kingdom to learn more about fairies and the war. She learns that she has been living in ignorance about what the fairy’s have been dealing with. The elves that she has seen humans have as servants and laborers are actually just faeries who have had their wings forcibly removed.
This discovery shocks and changes everything for Lucia. She struggles to act like everything is normal now and go about her duties as a lady in waiting and in-training mage. This becomes even harder when the king’s uncle Ricon, who has been dealing with the war, returns to the castle and seems interested in Lucia.
Like the previous volumes, I was instantly hooked to Lucia and Modeus’ story. I have really enjoyed the progression of reveals and learning more about this world of humans and faeries. After this cliffhanger of an ending, I am really excited to get my hands on the next volume and find out what will happen to Lucia, especially since we are finally getting to see some of her past.
TW: genocide; torture; slavery;

I am DYING waiting for the next volume! It seems the more we learn the more Lucia's world falls apart. I'm obsessed with how themes of racism, friendship, family, and more all tie together in this creative and beautiful novel.
