Enemies gather and truths are revealed, culminating in an emotional season finale. Poor Lucia is suddenly face to face with the atrocities committed against fairies. The palace, once a stronghold, offers little refuge from the horrifying images that trigger flashbacks to her own past, fear for the present, and guilt over not having known what terrors fairies like her face. Aside from Lucia, Modeus and their friends are facing their own crises, and it’s powerful to see how their unique experiences equip them to support one another. Let’s not overlook the ball - pretty costumes for all! And Ricon is a textbook villain, cunning and slimy and 100% stabbable. Brace for an explosive ending!
(To soften the blow, the new bonus chapter closes out Baynard and Peres’ backstory. Very sweet, very wholesome.)

The story continue in this amazing graphic novel / WEBTOON with volume 3. If you have been enjoying this series with Vol 1 and Vol 2 then you are sure to enjoy Vol 3. Purpah continues to weave an amazing story with in depth characters and just like the first 2 I finished this one wishing the next volume was already out. If you haven’t read this yet then go check my review for Vol 1 and pick it up. I promise you won’t regret it.

I am loving this series! This volume really ups the drama and we learn so much more about the backstory of the war which was really interesting. I can't wait to see how everything will continue in the next installment!

Suitor Armor: Volume 3 raises the stakes as Lucia’s world begins to unravel with dark revelations and mounting danger. Following a visit to the illegal market at Quinn’s direction, Lucia is confronted with the horrifying truth of the war—fairies are being mutilated and killed, and the so-called “elves” she has seen in servitude are actually fairies who have had their wings forcibly removed. This devastating realization sends Lucia into a spiral of guilt and fear, forcing her to question everything she thought she knew about her place in the kingdom. Meanwhile, the arrival of King Reimund’s ruthless uncle, Lord Ricon, poses a new and immediate threat, making Lucia’s already precarious position even more dangerous.
The tension in this volume is palpable, and the story continues to deepen in complexity. Lucia’s relationship with Kirsi begins to strain as the future queen embraces her power, leaving Lucia feeling more isolated than ever. Modeus remains her protector and source of comfort, but he, too, is struggling—with both his violent programming and his own emerging emotions. The dynamic between them continues to evolve in an intriguing way, balancing tenderness with the looming threat of his true nature.
With each volume, Suitor Armor continues to impress, weaving together romance, political intrigue, and an ever-growing sense of urgency. The fairytale-inspired artwork remains stunning, enhancing the emotional depth of the narrative. As the danger intensifies and Lucia’s secrets inch closer to exposure, this installment solidifies the series as a must-read for fans of romantic fantasy.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book.

Suitor Armour: Volume 3 is the first graphic novel I've reviewed and it set such a high standard for any future reviews!
This was gorgeous. The art; the storyline; the characters; the lore and the slow burn!
The story itself has a great blend of action, romance and fantasy while allowing the characters to evolve and react to the world around them in a way that feels genuine. The art is stunning and the layout helps bring the story to life as it was easy to follow the panels. The font was also displayed in a way that made it easy to focus on while not detracting from the overall look of the scene.
Suitor Armour: Volume 3 was a treat and highly recommended for fans of romantic fantasy in their graphic novels.
Thanks to Netgalley and Clarkson Potter/Ten Speed Press for this ARC to review.

"You are simply allowed to exist"
I swear that with each volume of this series I read, a little piece of me is healed. Suitor Armor remains one of my favorite webtoon/graphic novels of all time. The character development is beautiful, the plot development is complex and tackles some very heavy very real topics and I just think this story is magic.

The plot thickens! The cozy whimsical feel is still there and makes you obsessed but so much more has occurred.
Lucia has become more in tune with her magic and Modeus has become even more used to being part of the living. More secrets are coming out of the closet while others are only beginning to build themselves.
Lucia is becoming more aware of the life of fairies. She is remembering more of her past and asking more questions wanting to find out the truth.
Soon she feels less safe and more in danger of living amongst those at the royal court. She begins to look, listen, and act silently. But she is still new to this royal game of chess.

Now in the third book, our main character has uncovered new truths that have completely turned her world upside down. She can no longer see things the same way after discovering the horrors unfolding around her. Learning who she truly is has been an eye-opening experience, and I’m excited to see what she does now that she understands the full scope of what’s happening.

Yessssss, I am so addicted to this series! Volume 3 was definitely darker, and we got much more lore about the world overall. It is so well-written! I wish this series didn't always end on a cliffhanger.... but also... it is effective and I really want the next book lol. Great job making me love a suit of armor.
Thanks to NetGalley, Purpah, and Clarkson Potter for the chance to read and review. My opinions are my own!

Suitor Armor has been a captivating and unique graphic novel to read. Volume 3 in particular was jam-packed with climactic events that I am dying to know the resolution for! Lucia and Modeus have a lovely bond, and I really enjoyed seeing the growth each of them had in this volume. As for our villainous characters, I can't help but be even more suspicious of Lord Ricon and Norrix, and what their motives are for their actions regarding fairies and the throne. The imminent danger of Lucia and the castle was a riveting cliffhanger to end on!
The layout of the graphic novel itself was easy to follow, and I never felt lost while going from panel to panel. The fonts used were easy to read while still allowing the characters' emotions to come through with visual differences. The art is stunning while still being visually legible, even during action-packed scenes. I look forward to reading more!
While I am submitting my NetGalley feedback today, I will wait as requested to give public feedback until the week of publication. This feedback can be found at instagram.com/abbermac and Goodreads.com/abbermac. I am also very excited to talk to my local book club about this story, as it is a common topic of conversation during our meets.
Thank you again!

That was at least entertaining.
I thought that I was going to be more interested in the lore but I'm not .
Even though I understand Lucia's reaction and confusion, her being angry at people for not understanding HER feelings was insufferable. She has been sheltered her entire life and she just realised it but you can not be mad at people for being as clueless as you were. That's not how it work.
As usual, not a big fan of Lucia but I would die for Modieus.

I am LOVING this series. The art is incredible, the slow burn romance is to die for, and the lore is so rich. This volume is when the stakes are getting higher and higher and ends on SUCH a cliffhanger! I can't wait to add this volume to my collection!

I found this volume to be highly enjoyable; the art style is distinctly unique, and the narrative between the two protagonists is both charming and impactful. I have thoroughly appreciated this series thus far and look forward to volume No. 4.
Thank you to the author for crafting and sharing this story with us.

Suitor Armor: Volume 3 brings conflict and heartache to one of my favorite graphic novel series. The illustrations are stunning as always, and I am eagerly waiting for the next Volume after another cliffhanger.
I received an ARC from Clarkson Potter/Ten Speed Press | Ten Speed Graphic via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Amazing
Can’t wait to continue reading and learning about the history and lies that are happening.

Suitor Armor continues to impress as this tale turns towards its darker themes. Lucia must confront the very real dangers and sacrifices faeries face to survive in a human-ruled world. New characters enter the castle to further drive home the cruelty and villainy some humans are capable of. And even those who are kind, Lucia must decide if they can be trusted to keep her secrets. All the while, Modeus must contend with his growing sense of self and his status as object in the king's court. Another fantastic installment to the Suitor Armor series.

Purpah does it again! The art and story are amazing! Normally when Webtoons go for a while the story can get stall but Suitor Armor still has me hooked!

Okay, and the plot thickens and I was in my feels so much more as the story has progressed! I think this is going to end up my favorite graphic novel series for this year and I'm a Lore Olympus stan. This series just keeps getting better and better. Plus, the bonus chapter of Peres and Baynard ::Italian hand emoji::

This volume starts to get a bit more into the larger world and this story's history and I'm so excited for it! I had assumed it would be a simpler more whimsical story, but it clearly is aiming to get darker as it goes along. This story holds no punches when it comes to its darker elements. It also appears that there will be political intrigue, which I am very excited for. I cannot wait to see where this story goes from here!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!
