I have never read a more unlikeable character than Austin West so well done Theo Baxter !!!
This was quite a fast paced thriller, and if you’ve read thrillers before it was easy to work out what was happening or where it was going but it was an enjoyable read. It would be a great for someone just delving into that genre for a first time!

This is my second book by Theo Baxter. I read "Not My Mother" days ago and genuinely adore both! Despite having a typical and predictable plot, it's undeniably an "unputdownable" novel that will keep you hooked from start to finish; unlike many books that flood you with excessive information in the first half, this one is NOT! It surely talks about Aria's life, but something about this book made me want to turn the pages eagerly. That's probably why I devoured it immediately. The end provided closure and didn't leave me with questions, although I did find myself wishing for an unexpected plot twist to spice things up a bit. That's the only part I would like to change or add here.

The novel tackles mental health and abuse themes that weren't new to me, so I could spot them right away. This novel is a powerful read that sheds light on a different kind of abuse beyond just the physical. I can see that it encourages readers to reach for help when they're struggling badly, and to confront their traumas gradually with professional support. Aria was brave to face her struggles alone and stand up for herself despite not knowing who she was.

This was a quick and good read, I did find it quite predictable but I equally read a lot of these type of books so that could be down to me. An easy read, thanks for the early access!

From the very first page, this book had me hooked and I couldn’t put it down! This psychological thriller flawlessly unfolds layer by layer, building suspense with each chapter. Just when I thought I had things figured out, another shocking twist would take me by surprise.

Theo Baxter’s writing is gripping and perfectly paced. Not once did I feel bored or question the direction of the story—it kept me engaged from start to finish.

This was my first book by Theo Baxter, but it definitely won’t be my last. I can’t wait to read more of his work!

I enjoyed this book with the twists and turns and the general story outline. I left a review on goodreads and recommended this to be added to reading piles as it is quite a good book full of intrigue. Well worth a read would highly recommend.

A gripping, exciting thriller. Short and snappy - was easy to power through this is a couple of sitting and did not disappoint.

Aria has lost her memory and is relying on her husband Austin, who is lovely and caring to begin with but slowly Aria begins to question who is really is. Filled with snippets into her memory through flashbacks and dreams, we start to piece together what happened to her.

I had a bit of an idea of where it was heading pretty early on, though it was still a good read and as it turned out, I had only worked out part of where it was heading, the rest was a surprise. I loved the character of Aria, and her relationships with her neighbours and therapist, I also loved the isolated setting of their cabin, and her artistic side being shown.

While the premise of wife loses memory, husband might not be who/what she thinks is certainly not new - the execution was unique and offered a great new storyline.

Love Theo Baxter's writing and this was no different.

An interesting quick read. Figured out pretty early, what was going to happen but still enjoyed watching the story unfold. Kinda wish there would have been some more flashbacks/memories revealed because those were some of my favorite moments in the book that made me want to keep reading more.

Such a great book. Couldn't stop reading it. Thank you for my advance reader copy. Can't wait to look up other books from this author.

Oof! It was an absolute dream come true getting a Theo Baxter ARC. Now, let's get to the book. It absolutely hit all the bullet points that I want an expect in a psychological thriller. Baxter is the King of thrill in my book, and is absolutely underrated. I was constantly infuriated with Aria's character and her staying with her husband, the best books have the most aggravating characters, that tend to mirror real life. The twists and turns, were constantly unexpected and every time I thought I figured it out, I didn't. I love being wrong. The ending was a perfect end and I honestly cannot wait to purchase a physical copy for my shelf!

Wow what a read had me on of seat from start to finish I couldn't put this book down .

I did enjoy reading the book however it was predictable and fairly obvious where it was going throughout. I really was rooting for Aria to leave her ‘husband’ throughout, what a dirty man!

The ending was satisfying enough with Austin dying and Aria moving on with her life and enjoying success with her art!

Aria was in an accident two years ago and as a result, has amnesia and can't remember anything prior to the accident. She starts having small flashes of memory pop through but it seems to be in contrast to what her husband, Austin, told her happened.

Anything by Theo Baxter automatically makes it onto my TBR list. I Remember You did not disappoint! I want to start by saying how much I REALLY disliked Austin. His whiny temper tantrums drove me nuts. But I think that speaks to how well the author did in creating this character. It was hard not to get frustrated with Aria at times because you just want to tell her to leave already but again, shows how well the author portrayed her character. Theo Baxter did a great job capturing the mental turmoil that someone with a TBI would go through. I will say, there was one line early on in the book that kind of gave it away for me and I had a pretty good idea of how things would play out. Very solid 4 star read!

I really liked the story line of this book. It definitely grabbed my attention and held it. I like most of the characters, (there were not a lot) One of them though, was just awful and triggered me a bit. That’s on me, it often happens when I read bout misogyny. I’m very lucky to have most of the men in my life just the opposite. The main character and narrator, Aria, is very likable, but you do want to scream at her a lot of the time! (That’s not a negative, it’s actually really helpful for me doing that) overall, it’s a good book, and I will look into reading more by the author soon.

This story follows Aria West, who has retrograde amnesia after a car accident two years ago, and her husband Austin. Aria is doing her best to regain her memory and work on her marriage post-accident, but discovers her marriage may not be what it seems.

Overall, I enjoyed this story! It was a solid mystery/thriller that drew me in and kept me interested throughout the story. I liked Aria, and found myself relating to her pain and confusion around her accident and her marriage.

I would say that I guessed the antagonist pretty quickly - I'm not sure if that was the author's intent, but if there had been some kind of twist, it would have been a more exciting read.

Thriller readers, listen up! There’s an upcoming book that you won’t want to skip! I Remember You by Theo Baxter was a page turner!

Interesting read I enjoyed this book. Aria was on an interesting journey and I liked following her through her thoughts and twists. I look forward to reading other books from this author.

This book grabbed my attention from the very first page all the way to the end. This story is told from the perspective of Aria and makes you question throughout the whole story whether Austin is truly who he says he is or if he’s hiding something sinister from her. I really liked how the author wrote the story in a way that made the reader know only the same information that Aria knew. The last 25% was my favorite part of the story. It had my heart racing and was full of shocking revelations and suspense. I’m very satisfied with the ending and am glad with how Arias life turned out.

My thoughts on the characters:
-Austin is a horrible and disgusting character. It’s surprising he went so long hiding what he was hiding.
-Aria went through so much and lost a great chunk of her life. Her determination to find out the truth was what I admire most about her. I really liked her character.
-Max is a great character. I can’t say any more of my option on him without giving away in spoilers.
