This was an excellent guide, and I couldn’t help but wonder why something like this wasn’t available when I was in high school. The real-life examples and clear explanations make the concepts come alive in such a striking and accessible way. I do wish the book included an endnote glossary or some kind of guide to the subtle puzzles and clues it leaves scattered throughout—it would have made the experience even more enriching. That said, it’s truly a must-have companion for young learners exploring the wonders of physics.

“The Awesome Physics in Your City” by The Amazing Theatre of Physics is an engaging introduction to physics for young readers. Using real-world examples from everyday city life—such as traffic lights, skyscrapers, and playgrounds—the book helps students see the science behind the world around them. There are vibrant illustrations and easy-to-understand explanations.
This book is a valuable addition to any school library, supporting STEM education and encouraging critical thinking. It would work well as a supplemental text for science lessons. Highly recommended for upper elementary and middle school students as the book is very text-heavy.
Thanks to NetGallery and Albatros Media for an advanced copy of this eBook in exchange for my honest review.
