Needing the expertise of someone with crisis negotiation experience and expert use of a firearm who could handle the wilderness, she reaches out to Texas Ranger Captain Blane Gardner.
Blane balks at the idea of them going alone through the dense forest but finally agrees to accompany her. Only he has rules of his own. Therese won’t back down despite the attacks.
