Imogen Tate is a delightful character that readers of all ages will relate to. Everyone can see a piece of themselves in her struggle to learn how to manage the new digital age of social media and the blogosphere while remaining grounded to real life. The story is funny, witty, and thoughtful, with just the right amount of seriousness to feel real. Moving at just the right pace and with just the right amount of drama, The Knockoff is a top notch novel.

This was a fun read! Being around the age of the protagonist, I could relate to her struggles in the workplace.

I found this story to be fun, light and an easy read! The authors' keen observations of the differences between Gen X and Millennials is hilarious. One I need to discuss with my daughter!! Looking forward to their next book.

I have had this on my shelf on Netgalley for as long as I can remember. I recently needed something different that my typical murder mystery read and this hit the spot. It's definitely a timely book with today's society. The changing of technology, the younger generation knows everything about everything up and coming. The older generation is trying to keep up, preserve the foundations that are already set, and treading water to keep relevant. Exactly what happens in The Knockoff. I loved this story. Loved and hated some of the characters. And loved the little lesson that not giving up when the water gets murky can lead you to great places.

I received a copy of this novel about a year ago, and my only regret is that it took me so long to get around to reading this book! The story was thoroughly entertaining and I highly recommend it to anyone that has an interest in the fashion world. Or anyone who enjoys a clever, well-written humorous women’s fiction novel.

This book was fast-paced and filled to the brim with humor, filled with real-life issues that people are faced with today. I loved Imogen’s character! She comes back from a personal leave from work, only to find that everything has changed. She’s still the editor in chief, but what does that look like for a fashion magazine that no longer exists in print form but instead, only lives online?

Eve, oh Eve. I wonder where the author found the inspiration to create a character that psychotic and cruel. Can a human being actually be that incredibly mean, and can someone that smart really be that clueless? Take it from me, Eve offers an inordinate amount of laughs from all of the ridiculous things she does.

I felt immersed in the fashion world that the author created for us and was sad to see the story end, but absolutely loved the ending! As I mentioned earlier, I highly recommend adding this novel to your TBR!

I received a complimentary review copy from the author via NetGalley. My opinions are reflected 100% honestly.
