Meet Annie, based in London and Kate, based in Somerset. The story alternates between the two of them and tells their separate stories. Very quickly we get to know both of them and early on, it is obvious that Kate is running away from something and trying to build herself a new life. We are told early on of Annie’s tragic past but have no idea how the two girls are tied together or how their stories will collide. There is a fantastic twist which I didn’t see coming and a satisfying ending. Highly recommended.
