I love Elle Kennedy and was so excited for this book but I was slightly let down. I had a lot of expectations for this and that was my fault but when it didn't live up to that I found myself annoyed with the characters and plot. I did like some parts of it and think its worth reading if you know what you are getting into. I just really wish it was MMF.

Elle Kennedy is the queen of spicy rom coms. Usually rom coms are light, fluffy, fun, and occasionally a little spicy. Elle's books are SPICY but there are always more serious themes woven through. This book explores taboo love, adoption, trauma, and finding family. As an adult adoptee who also found biological family, I can relate to this book so much. I really appreciated the representation.

Not my favorite Elle Kennedy book. I think I would have rather read about Charlotte and Beckett's relationship as most of the romantic scenes only involved the two of them. The middle of the book completely cut out Will's point of view, which was a little weird to me. I really preferred Will's point of view because his conflict was the most straight forward. I think there were moments where I hit a wall when reading this book. I think some scenes were added just for the sake of being added, but they didn't add much to the story. I'm really sad that I spent so much time anticipating this book. I was so excited to read what the Off Campus/Briar U/Campus Diaries characters were up to, and this book just completely fell flat.

.MFM
.Secret relationship
.Hate to love
.Hurt/comfort

I hate to say this, but I’m a little disappointed. I’ve been loving this series, and hey, you can’t love every book the same. But I was so looking forward to this throuple’s story that maybe I set my expectations too high.

Here’s the thing, I really think this one should’ve been an MMF from the start, not an MFM. If you’re new to the genre, here’s a quick breakdown: MFM means two men and one woman, but the guys aren’t involved with each other. MMF has the same dynamic, but the men are also romantically (and physically) connected; swords crossing and all. In the previous books, Will and Beckett had such great chemistry. Their friendship was amazing, and it felt like there could be something more. So imagine my surprise when… there wasn’t.

Now, I could have rolled with it. My MM-loving heart struggled, but fine. The bigger issue was the chemistry between all three felt a little off. Don’t get me wrong, their interactions were hot (Elle Kennedy knows how to write spice). And while there wasn’t jealousy, there was a lot of self-doubt and insecurity that made the relationship feel shaky. Like my buddy reader, Vero, put it, it seemed like something that would last through college but not into real adult life.

That said, I loved all three characters. They each had their own struggles, and their individual journeys were the highlight for me. Charlie’s path to self-discovery, accepting her roots, and feeling worthy of her family was beautiful. Beckett’s heartbreak and healing was both sad and hopeful. And Will figuring out his own future was so relatable.

Also, can we talk about Charlie’s parents? They deserve everything. That family dinner scene was pure perfection.

Special mention to the Virgin Queen and Alexander the Great’s fanfic 😂

Before I forget, the audiobook was great. Duet narration featuring Sean Masters as Beckett, whose voice melts me every time.

So, do I recommend this book? Absolutely. The whole series, really. My issue with this one is totally personal, it’s not the book’s fault, just my expectations. I know plenty of readers will love it and I can't wait for the next book to come out!

I liked this book, it wasn't my favorite in this serie but still liked it. This one is probably on me tho, I think throuples is not my thing. The characters were great tho, I loved seeing more of Grace and I actually can't wait for her book! The narrator did a good job to bring the story to life too!

This book was… fine, but definitely my least favorite Elle Kennedy read out of this series so far. The plot was barely there but also somehow all over the place, which made it hard to stay engaged.

While the setup was interesting, the book just didn’t work for me. There was barely any emotional connection between Charlotte, Will, and Beckett, which made Will’s love confession feel completely random. The physical chemistry was there, sure, but I wanted the emotional side to match, and it just… didn’t. Plus, Will felt like a total third wheel. He was Charlotte’s “public” boyfriend, but Beckett was the one spending more time with her in private. It also felt like a missed opportunity that this wasn’t MMF—Will and Beckett had great chemistry in previous books, and I was hoping for some thing else?

The side plots didn’t help, either. Beckett’s dad moving back to Australia? Didn’t care. Will’s family drama? Been there, done that, seen it done better. Charlotte’s subplot about finding her biological brother was decent, but overall, the book spent way too much time on family problems and random secondary characters instead of developing the romance. The pacing was weird, too. Some parts dragged on forever, and then the ending felt rushed. I did love the character appearances from other series! In the end, I just didn’t buy into the love story. It felt more like lust than anything lasting, and I can’t picture them actually staying together long term.

Thank you Hambright PR and Dreamscape for the eARC & ALC

This was such a fun read filled with really great and fun characters! I read this book as a mix of physical reading and listening to the audiobook, which I loved as it really helped get me into the story as the narrators were fantastic! I love that Beckett had an Australian accent, which really helped me get to know the characters and is just so sexy!

First off, I really liked Charlotte (or Charlie)! She felt really relatable to me - a chronic overthinker and someone who always tries to portray themselves in the best light so people are proud of them. I love that she had a wild side and her love of sports cars…. I also really loved that she was in STEM and how smart and motivated she was! I will say, I really loved watching her growth and journey throughout the book, whether it be about her identity or about what she really loves. I love how she became more comfortable showing both parts of herself and not feeling like she has to hide certain things about herself in order to fit in and be accepted by the people she loves!

As for Beckett and Will, they were also really great MMCs! They had the biggest hearts, and I just really loved that they seemed so different from one another; they had really distinct personalities, but they fit together so well! They brought out the best in each other and I love the care they had. I also really loved them individually! They both grew so much throughout the book and it was so nice to see the reasons behind why they are the way they are and find their place in the world.

Now the romance… I feel like you can never go wrong with a poly romance, especially with hockey players 🤭 The spice was perfect for the book and in the classic Elle Kennedy way… I really liked how the romance played out and how they grew together; the romance seemed very natural and well paced. I like how they navigated being all together and I like how they all added something to the relationships!

Overall, if you’re looking for a fun sports romance that had moments of depth and spice, then this is the book for you! This book is perfect for any hockey romance lover! I feel like it helps to have read the other books in the series first as you know the characters a little better, especially the side characters, but it can definitely be read as a standalone!

Thank you Hambright PR and Elle Kennedy for an arc of this book! Out now!

This was my first time reading an Elle Kennedy book. I enjoyed the journey but I got a little lost with the side characters, it may have been a better experience starting with the first book in the series if there was character cross over. Definitely a fun MFM for the spicy book girls. The narration was on point, it was a fun listen.

I have read every single one of Elle’s books, most of them more than once, but I have never listened to any of them and let me tell you, I am so happy The Charlie Method was my first listen!! I adored this book so much when I read it physically, but getting to hear these characters get brought to life was an entirely new world. This was a six star read from me, it was just that good. The narrators did AMAZING portraying Charlie, Beckett, and Will, and I know this will continue to be a reread for me because I adored every minute!!

Thank you so much to Elle Kennedy, Netgalley, Hambright PR, and Dreamscape Select for this gifted audiobook.

This was my first Elle Kennedy book and I'd have to say, I'm definitely a fan now!!
I'll be going back to book 1 of The Campus Diaries Now!

This story starts off with some spice from the beginning and I was here for it! I loved the growth the characters showed! I think I'd have to say I'm team Beckett, but I loved Will's golden retriever self as well!

I can't wait to read more by this author!

This was my first experience with this series, and it’s safe to say, Elle has another fan at her feet!

The relationship dynamics between the characters were so engaging—far more complex and layered than I initially anticipated. What I thought would be a light-hearted rom-com turned out to be much more profound, and I was pleasantly surprised by the emotional depth.

Charlotte is truly a lovable, sweet, and resilient character. I’ve enjoyed watching her evolve throughout the series, and the way she ultimately embraces her true self is heartwarming. Elle has done an exceptional job capturing Charlotte’s emotional journey—her struggles feel so raw and relatable.

As for Will and Beckett, I can’t help but wish for more of them! Will’s gentle, calming presence is so soothing, while Beckett, the thoughtful and endearing Aussie, adds a lovely charm to the story. I never expected to fall so deeply in love with a throuple, but here I am, completely captivated.

Their story had me laughing, crying, and kicking my feet in excitement. The banter, chemistry, and undeniable spice are *chef’s kiss*. While I adore a steamy romance, I’m also drawn to stories that offer depth, growth, and emotional complexity—and this one delivers on all fronts. And a few plot twists o did not see coming. My jaw was definitely on the floor. Definitely a must add to your TBR! 💖

4.5/5 Stars

The Charlie Method is so much more than a sports romance! Each character had an in-depth story of their own that was combined expertly so Will, Beckett, and Charlie all got what they needed from their relationship. This slightly less conventional relationship was, yes, super hot, but also filled with so much heart and comfort. I adored Beckett’s journey from playboy to smitten, and Will’s undeniable care from beginning to end; and, most of all, I loved the way Charlie gained the utmost confidence and acceptance in herself with the encouragement of her boys! However, the biggest impact this book had on me was the adoption story line of the FMC, Charlie.

This was simultaneously one of the hardest, most healing, most anxiety provoking, most enlightening books I have read in a long time. You see, I am an adoptive mom. My kids are from China and so many of Charlie’s thoughts and worries are what I know will be coming for me in the future. Her character’s journey was written with such raw, emotional authenticity. She was given courage to be brave in moments of self-discovery regarding her past and a vulnerability that made me cry several times. There were so many moments that were hard for me to read, to hear Charlotte’s fears verbalize, my heart was gutted for her as if I was HER mom but, hope, growth, and understanding were placed along the way in a manner that I can only hope to emulate as my children get older.

I am thankful Charlotte’s story was handled with such care as to include adoptees as sensitivity readers and a special THANK YOU to the adoptees. From the easy to the hard, the elations to the heartache, through the questioning and discovery, I will never forget her and will think of this story as the conversations come in our future.

The audiobook narration is PHENOMENAL! If audiobooks are your thing, Sean Masters, Teddy Hamilton, and Persephone Lee truly made these characters come to life in spectacular fashion!

The Charlie Method is so great on audio. Each voice actor does so well bringing their character to life. I haven’t tread the first two and didn’t feel lost or confused at all!

This MFM romance kicks off with Charlie meeting the guys on a hookup app. They each know the others outside of the app and it takes a while for them to agree to meet up. Charlie is intrigued by being with them both and nervous it will reflect poorly on her. She’s also balancing genetic testing results and pressure from her family. I connected to her instantly.

Coming off The Dixon Rule, which I absolutely LOVED. This didn’t quite hit has hard for me. It was a little bit of a slow start for me to connect with Charlie, but by the midway point I was fully invested. I feel like all the dynamics of their relationship fit so well together. The audio narration was amazing and they did such a great job.

The dynamics between Charlie, Will, and Beckett are what really make this story shine. Each character has their own baggage—Will is trying to break free from his father’s political shadow, Beckett is dealing with heartache from back home in Australia, and Charlie is navigating her own identity as an overachiever and the feeling of not fitting in with her adopted family. Their interactions are filled with humor and genuine moments that bring depth to their relationships.

As they explore their feelings for each other, we get to see how they each confront societal expectations and personal desires. The chemistry between the trio is electric, but it’s the emotional connections that truly resonate.

Also, if you’re an audiobook fan like me, I highly recommend grabbing the audio version of The Charlie Method. The duet narration is excellent! The narrators bring the character’s voices to life with such authenticity that you feel like you’re right there experiencing the journey with them. Trust me friends, it adds another layer of enjoyment to this already fantastic story.

Review: 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕 in audio is a MUST if you love Elle Kennedy’s stories! Elle was able to cast three narrators that absolutely brought these characters to life. Persephone Lee, Teddy Hamilton and San Masters had the type of narration chemistry that had you salivating for the next page, POV and scene. I absolutley loved every word of this narration and thought that each narartor was able to build off the other's chapter but also bring new heat and tension to the voices. 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕 is anaudiobook that I will be relistening to ASAP- it was just that good!

Persephone Lee was my favorite narraotr becuase she was able to embody Charlie in a way that added SO so many layers to her voice. I found myself immersed inside her POV as she told us the story of Charlie finding her people and i loved the way she also fit so well with Teddy and Sean. Both male narrators also blew me away with the way they narrated the hilarious friendship between Will and Beckett. Truly there was nothing I did not like in this audiobook and 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕 was a gem to listen to in my ears!

Rating: 100+; 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕 is a delicious audiobook that had my ears in nirvana for the entirety of the story!

Review: 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕 started hot, ended hot and was insanely captivating until the words ‘The End’ were read. Elle once again brings us to the Campus Diaries series and leaves no page unturned with the romance between - Charlie, Will and Beckett! I was in love with Will Larson from the get go in book one but the way Elle really brought all three of them to life in this book just hit home so much more for his story. I appreciated how she tackled the topics of insecurity and wanting to please others but what blew me away was the friendship that Beckett and Will had.

This book was an MFM romance but all three of them form a dynamic that warms the heart. Beckett and Will’s hilarious friendship is only elevated with Charlie thrown into the mix and I was absolutely gigging out loud at certain parts of this book. Elle also brings us all the heat and provides us with steamy and dirty DMs between the three of them throughout. These DMs were some of my favorite parts because we really saw the inside of each MC during the exchanges - an wowza did they make me sweat!

𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕 was one of my favorite Elle books ever and I can only say…please give us more Will in the future! I am not ready to say bye to that man! Charlie, Will and Beckett have one of the most natural and endearing relationships I have ever read and I truly adored and devoured every word!

Rating: 100+; Elle Kennedy gave us the most anticipated read and 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕 was absolutely everything I wanted!

Thank you to Hambright PR for the eARC and Dreamscape Select for the ALC.

I loved the first two books in the Campus Diaries series, and the snippets of Will and Beckett in the previous books just made me feral for The Charlie Method.

And I feel let down.

Charlie struggles with her identity the entire book, and she doesn’t let the guys in emotionally until the end. And by then, it didn’t feel real, more like a plot point for the story. Beckett is one dimensional and only there for the spicy scenes. Will is my favorite of the three, but it still feels like he doesn’t fit in the relationship.

So my sadness comes from two points: 1) no sexy times or emotional connection between Will and Beckett — this would have enhanced the relationship so much. And 2) no real emotional connection between Charlotte and either of the boys — this story felt so physical and that the M-F-M was a trope used to hype up the book.

The sex scenes were well written and exceptionally hot, and I loved the humor from the ‘Dad Chat’ group chat. And the scene where Charlotte finally talks to her parents brought tears to my eyes. So despite my ranting above, I did actually enjoy myself throughout most of the book. Oh! I can’t forget to mention that the audio was 10000% amazing and it made the read so much better.

At the end of the day, did I still enjoy the story? Yes. Will I continue with more of the series? 100% yes.

Charlotte Kingston leads a double life—college senior by day and risk-taking Charlie by night, seeking casual hookups. When she meets two guys on an online app for a threesome, she’s stunned to find out they’re her classmates and hockey stars, Will and Beckett.

While I was hoping for a Will/Beckett HEA, the chemistry between the three is off-the-charts steamy, and those who love intense passion will adore this book. But beyond the steam, I really appreciated the emotional depth, especially as Charlie navigates her feelings about being adopted and searching for a missing family member. Her internal struggle between her dual identities was fascinating, and I was captivated by her family dynamic, especially with Harrison.

A unique blend of heat and heart, this book delivers both!

I received an ARC/ALC for an honest review.

I'm so sad this is the last book in the Campus Diaries series. The second generation. I'll NEVER get tired of the Briar U world!! ⁣

You guys know me, I don't read MFM, but because it's THE Elle, I have to read it. I'm not surprised that I love and enjoyed it so much. Elle is the QUEEN of Hockey. ⁣

Charlie, Will, and Beckett are totally HOT together!! I'll say Elle's hottest book to date. They each have their own struggles and issues, but when they're together, they all just click. I can relate to Charlie so much. I'm totally a people pleaser and don't want to disappoint anyone, especially my family. So I totally understand why she did what she did when it comes to keeping things to herself. Between Will and Beckett, I'm leaning towards Beckett more. Lol I love a broken hero, and he was broken. Will has daddy issues. Lol

The ALC though. OMG!!! I love that it was in duet form. It was so well done. Totally obsessed. They brought out each characters to life!

Seeing the other characters is a bonus. I love this world so much. I wish I can live in it.
