Some good recipes in this book. However I thought the formatting and design looked somewhat cheap and I didn’t like how the ingredients list was given for a week at a time as opposed to for the individual recipes. This may be better for someone that is interested in making each weekly recipe

Found the title of this book intriguing, and was hoping it would really be instant/easy meal preps. I'm pretty satisfied with it. I like how it has a complete shopping list of all the meals you can expect to make out of all the ingredients you bought. Some are definitely quicker than others, but also light and refreshing. My 8 year old can follow it thoroughly, so any teenager or adults can definitely as well. Would recommend this book to friends and family. The photographs are all also nice and clear to use as references to see what the dish(es) is supposed to look like upon completion.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book as an advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

I really like the format of this book and how it gives you each part of your weekly meals to prep for the upcoming week. I am very excited to try out some of these recipes.

The method in this cookbook for meal prepping was helpful for me, but the recipes were not recipes that I have ever made or that felt very family friendly (for my family.). Almost every week had recipes that had ingredients I do not know or have never cooked with before. That’s my complaint with almost every cookbook that says it’s going to simplify my life! Wish they’d just actually simplify haha

The Instant Kitchen Meal Prep Cookbook by Coco Morante truly spoke to my culinary soul with its delicious Instant Pot recipes, crispy air fryer dishes, and fresh, vibrant ingredients. The recipes are simple and easy to follow, making cooking fun and manageable—even on my busiest days. While the author presents the book as a meal prep guide for planning ahead, I found the recipes work just as well for quick, made-on-the-spot meals. It’s perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to simplify weeknight cooking without sacrificing flavor. Plus, it gave me some refreshing new Instant Pot recipes to add to my collection.

A huge thanks to NetGalley, the author & the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

I think this book is good in theory, if you're looking for meal plans just so you don't have to come up with your own ideas. I just don't know how practical these really are. The grocery list for each week is just so long. And then when you get all the stuff, I guess you're expected to immediately parse it all out into various baggies and containers. I did find it funny that it keeps saying to buy green beans and then go and transfer those green beans to another bag, but label them as "green bean prep" this time, without doing anything else to them. Just why. There are also a few recipes that don't use either an air fryer or a pressure cooker; recipes like the breakfast quesadilla seem like just filler.

I did appreciate that the recipes used healthier ingredients than usual. The photography was also nice, although I generally prefer a picture of each recipe in some form. There are also a lot of meal ideas included, which is nice.

This is a great book for anyone wanting to plan some of those meals and get them ready before the work week starts. The book has a great variety of recipes and so far the ones I have tried have been great. They did a great job with the layout of the book including the grocery list, layout for preparing the meals ahead of time and what to do the day you will be making the meal. They gave you some tips along the way too which is also nice. It has great photos in it which is a plus for me as well.

This book was great! It’s full of smart, practical ideas that make meal prep so much easier and more efficient. I loved how approachable the recipes were, and the tips really help streamline busy weeknights. It’s a game-changer for simplifying meals—highly recommend!
Thanks to NetGalley for the early preview!

Each chapter of this cookbook is a week of meals, including the prep you need to do at the beginning of the week. You'll need both an air fryer and a pressure cooker to make most of the recipes, which may be a barrier for some home cooks. Each page has symbols showing which devices are required. Creative and varied recipes with detailed instructions. Good for working families and anyone with a hectic schedule who still wants home-cooked meals on weeknights.

This is a good entry for the genre, but by god. This woman and her budget scares me. This would be a good template for someone who’s going to pieces cooking for their family, but the dinner budget alone is spectacular. In addition, unless you live at a high altitude, making 8 oz of pasta in a pressure cooker does not make sense at all.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ – A Beautifully Practical Cookbook for Busy Home Cooks

The Instant Kitchen Meal Prep Cookbook by Coco Morante is a gem for anyone looking to simplify their weeknight cooking without sacrificing flavor. The recipes look absolutely delicious and—best of all—are easy to follow, making meal prep feel far less intimidating. Whether you're a beginner or just short on time, this book offers approachable meals that still feel satisfying and fresh.

One of my favorite aspects of the book is the photography—each dish is beautifully captured, which not only makes the cookbook visually appealing but also gives you a great idea of what to aim for. It’s a nice balance of inspiration and practicality.

I received this book as an Advanced Reader Copy from NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I’m excited to try more recipes and keep this one in regular rotation in my kitchen!

This is a great cookbook for those who want fairly simple meals, a weekly shopping list, and are into meal prep.
What I loved the most about this recipe book was all the pictures and how organized it was. The weekly shopping list makes it so easy to put your meals together, and I liked the idea of prepping the meals each week to make it even faster to assemble on the day.
My favorite section was the breakfast section, I got so many great ideas for easy make ahead meals that my family would enjoy. We loved the egg bites, banana muffins, and overnight oats.
While I loved the meal plan/prep aspect and I found recipes that I enjoyed and will make again, a lot of them were almost too simple and not very complex.
II would have also enjoyed having nutritional information.

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I knew this would be the perfect cookbook for me from the very first page, where the author dedicated it to busy working parents everywhere who are doing their best trying to get dinner on the table each night! The book is divided into ten weeks of nightly dinners, with shopping lists and meal prep for each week that can be done in advance. The back of the book also has some bonus foods like treats and muffins. I have both an air fryer and an Instapot and I look forward trying these recipes and taking the mental load out of what to feed my family!

Thank you to NetGalley and William Morrow for an ARC in exchange for my honest feedback.

A great, useful cookbook. I like how it was laid out with different sections.

Uses lots of time saving techniques & tools/appliances.

Lots of great brightly colored pictures to make it more appealing & engaging. Lots of different cuisines to also appeal to a larger crowd.

Great for anyone who wants to cook, but often doesn't feel they have time.

Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for the ARC read. All opinions are my own.
