Madeline Hunter immerses her readers in a world rich in details and multidimensional plots. Her sophisticated wit and deep introspective character development are a rare treat and shine with Gareth and Eve, the hero and heroine. The start to a new series, His Wicked Reputation, is a well thought out story full of passion, mystery and historic detail. Ms. Hunters expertise as an art historian is evident in this book but her ability to take characters and give them a unique voice is a what makes this novel work.
