Thank you so much for this ARC!

Okay, I was HOOKED and read 50% in the first sitting. Prior to picking this up I was in a bit of a slump but this quickly remedied that!

I typically enjoy books with multiple POV's, however, even though this was told through one perspective, reading the chapters from the mystery writer satisfied that need. Elizabeth was imperfect (obviously, she endured so much trauma!) yet human and her story captured me.

Traveling between NYC and Louisiana was fun as well as the few romance elements - very juicy stuff!

The last chapter - INCREDIBLE.

I absolutely loved The Unraveling and this is equally as good!

*SO many trigger warnings here*

I finished this book two days and I'm still trying to figure what to say. I loved this book from beginning to end. I was so invested in this book; I hated to see it end. One minute I thought I had it all figured out and then the next I was wrong. This book was so intriguing and had so many twists and turns, by the end I was flabbergasted. This was an amazing book, and I hope Vi continues to write thrillers.

Wow Vi Keeland did it again with another great suspense novel.
I really enjoyed this one. Even though the main female character drove me nuts at times, I thoroughly enjoyed the story. It kept me interested and engaged.

Elizabeth is a college professor who starts receiving chapters of a book that a student is supposedly writing. The problem is, the chapters detail exact events from Elizabeth's past 20 years ago that no one is supposed to know.

This book has some dark themes, and there were some parts that were hard for me to read, so definitely check your trigger warnings. Overall, this is an easy and quick read with a great twist at the end.

Thanks to NetGalley and Atria Books for the advanced copy to review!

‘An English professor’s deadly past comes back to haunt her in this chilling and sexy thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Vi Keeland.

Someone knows what Elizabeth did twenty years ago and her secret is about to be exposed, but who is the mystery student submitting the chapters? In an effort to find out, Elizabeth returns to her Louisiana hometown where it soon becomes clear that no matter how many years have gone by, she can’t escape her past.’

Seriously? My apologies, but is this book for real? The implausibility and nonsense and shallow characters..… it was just all so absolutely ridiculous and far fetched and laughable. It felt like a prank….! Damn.

Arc provided by Atria Books via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you. I’m always grateful.

Need to get out of a reading slump? This is your book!
I just never knew where this wild ride was going to take me.

I thought the small town setting made the connections more believable but I would have liked more details to really grasp the feel of the area.

The only reason for the 4 stars was because I thought the first “reveal” needed a little more of an explanation in the letter and some details from the ending confused me slightly. Maybe I just need to sit with it all for a little longer to really understand.

I’m so glad I found this author and can’t wait to read more from her!

Someone Knows is a standalone title written by Vi Keeland.

*Child predator
*Reverse age gap relationship
*Story within a story

A psychological thriller involving a college English Professor, her dying mother, and the son of the man that ruined them both.

This book will leave you guessing till the very last page, wondering how it will end, and who really is at fault for the weird things going on in Elizabeth’s day-to-day life.

Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys psychological thrillers!

Someone Knows is the second thriller that Vi Keeland wrote. I read her first thriller, The Unraveling last year. I was so excited to see she had written another thriller! They both were so good! Once again I could not stop reading this second one! It was nonstop action. I’m not sure what I felt about the ending, but I enjoyed all the twists and turns throughout the book! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!

SHOOKETH. That’s the review. The way this book ended had my jaw on the floor!!! This may be a top thriller read of the year for me.

This was fast paced, a great premise, and an overall enjoyable read ( note the trigger warnings of sexual/ child abuse).

One of the biggest twists happened around the 55% mark. It definitely shocked me, but then I felt like it was not fully explored and tied back to the story in a meaningful enough way. I think more could have been done with that component. There were a few subsequent twists that were clever and better executed, including the final chapter.

Fast paced read and held my attention. Be prepared for plenty of sexy time between two characters and descriptions of abuse. Overall though, a fun read with a bit of a disappointing ending. The main character Elizabeth has no common sense either. But a good read and I recommend it.

Sexy, twisted, intense, and emotional describe this addictive, gripping thriller. Does someone know Elizabeth’s deepest and darkest secrets? Is someone out to get her, or is her imagination in overdrive? The past and present collide as secrets are revealed. Elizabeth’s tragic history is threatening her future and wreaking havoc on her mental stability. I was completely invested in Elizabeth’s reckless journey as she searched for answers and clarity. The plot is fast-paced with a clever, satisfying conclusion. Thank you, NetGalley and Atria Books for my ARC.

Vi Keeland’s The Unraveling was one of my top reads last year, and I was so excited to see that she wrote another thriller! She writes primarily romance so if you want a spicy thriller I’ll definitely recommend this one.

I abandoned two loads of laundry and a sink full of dishes today because this book sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down!

Elizabeth is an English teacher in New York and is knocked sideways one day when reading a paper a student wrote which happens to be word for word a secret crime she had committed twenty years prior. She goes back to her hometown in Louisiana trying to figure out who knows her secret and who is messing with her.

I completely devoured the book and highly recommend 👏🏻

4 ⭐️ I loved it!

I loved this book.
Someone is stalking Elizabeth but not what you think. The person is sending her chapters of her “friend’s” past and it’s starting to unravel her.
Love all the twists and turns and when the stalker was finally revealed I was shocked.
If you love a good thriller you got to read this.

This is my second book by Vi Keeland. I really did enjoy this. The ending left me hanging, though, and that is the only reason I'm not giving it a higher rating. I got confused a few times with the number of characters. This was a nice, quick thriller. It was enjoyable, but won't be one that I remember for years to come. 3.5 stars.

This was such a fun ride and I actually couldn’t solve it in my head before anything happened which makes it even more fun. So many wild things were happening but it wasn’t so wild that it felt silly. It was just enough craziness to keep me from being able to put the book down. I was already giving kudos for it how it ended when I got to the last chapter - my kudos doubled after that. My second thriller by this author and def won’t be my last.

"Someone Knows" is a gripping psychological thriller that captivated me from start to finish. The narrative centers on Elizabeth, a professor who relocates to New York in an attempt to escape her troubled past in Louisiana. However, when one of her students submits chapters that eerily mirror a murder Elizabeth committed two decades earlier, she is compelled to return to her hometown in search of the enigmatic student. As she delves deeper, she uncovers more questions than answers. Initially, I found myself at odds with Elizabeth's character, but as her backstory unfolded, I grew to appreciate and understand her journey. The plot is filled with unexpected twists that keep you guessing until the very end. I would rate this book 4+ stars.
