Austin Yates has experienced traumatic events in his past. But, he’s moved ahead. He is now a high school teacher, one well respected by both his peers and his students. But when his daughter Mia is traumatized by something that happened at school, his life begins to unravel.
Kate has been very happy being wife, mother, hostess. Her marriage to Austin has been good. Just as Austin is, she is completely undone about what has happened to their daughter.
This intriguing read is excellently narrated by Jodie Harris, Nikki Thomas, and Andrew Cutcliffe. The diverse voices, each representing a different point of view, keep the reader engaged throughout the story. With dual timelines, secrets are gradually revealed, and the cracks in the seemingly perfect family become increasingly apparent. This intense story was an easy one-sitting with, leaving me with a positive experience.
Many thanks to Dreamscape Media and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

This was a really fast read which I enjoyed but I felt like there were a lot of pieces of the story that just didn't make sense and were not necessary. The random kiss with the mother at the very odd and it never fully tied into the storyline. It felt a little bit all over the place but I still enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this audiobook. It had a lot of twists and keep me guessing. I did not see the end coming.

4/5 Stars! Thanks NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this audiobook of Out Perfect Family by Nicola Marsh, Narrated by Jodie Harris; Nikki Thomas; Andrew Cutcliffe.
I cannot express how much I love a fully cast of narrators for a novel. The narratives did a fantastic job and got me hooked from the very beginning! Very easy to listen and follow while doing a few things around the house and really liked the fact that it addressed the seriousness of social bullying. The story went pretty fast and I did not expect the way it was ending. Loved to see what other novels this author has!

Our Perfect family by Nicola Marsh
I listened to the audiobook which was narrated by Jodie Harris, Nikki Thomas and Andrew Cutcliffe. All three narrators did an amazing job, I could really see each one of them as the characters they were portraying.
Austin Yates is a respected high school teacher, and a devoted family man. But when pictures of his teenage daughter surface online without her consent, their perfect family starts to unravel. Family means everything to Austina and he is willing to stop an nothing to protect them.
Kate sees Austin as the man that saved herm She's a good wife most of the time and a doting mother to her daughter. But when the scandal occurs she must choose between defending the man she owes everything to or protecting the family they created.
Mia is in her final year of high school. When pictures of her surface online without her consent, she is paralyzed in fear. Her next step could either destroy her family or save it, so she has to choose carefully.
I liked the book overall, but I took it down one star for the pacing which I found a bit off. I found the first half to be a bit slow and the second half to be fast paced and very entertaining.
Thank you to Nicola for partnering with NetGalley. I received an advanced audio copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

I recently read "Our Perfect Family," a novel that explores the serious subject of social bullying.
Overall, it was an engaging story, skillfully presented by Nicola Marsh. The family at the center of the tale is made up of distinct characters, each contributing to a complex web of secrets and dynamics. While the plot initially captivated me with its twists and turns, I found that the excitement faded over time, leading me to lower my star rating.
In conclusion, although the book addresses an important subject, it doesn’t quite stand out among other thrillers I've read. Thank you to NetGalley for the free advanced copy.

All families have secrets, but some are more serious than others. As Kate begins to wonder what her husband is up to and tries to keep a connection with her daughter, can she judge them when her secrets are deadly?

I'm not even sure where to start with this review. There was A LOT going on!! This family seemed deceptively normal...thriving... from the outside, but when a compromising picture of Mia, the teenage daughter, goes viral among her classmates, all of this family 's skeletons come flowing out.
There were many characters in this psych thriller, including Mia, her dad, her mom, and two classmates Greg and newcomer Matt. The perspectives involved the former three characters, but the latter two also played big roles in the plot. There was also the added dual timeline of then and now. With so much happening, it kept the story suspenseful as I had no idea where it was going. I also found it surprisingly easy to keep track of all the characters and time frames. Kudos to the author in accomplishing that!
The elephant in the room was that the plot was way OTT! Like soap opera crazy with elements thrown in that didn't seem to make sense or add to the plot aside from adding drama. I'm okay with some moments of eye rolling, but this one took it to a new level. The need to seemingly get an audience reaction overshadowed what could've been a more realistic and relatable plot.
However, this book kept me engaged and curious. It was a fast, entertaining listen. The audio performance was super with multiple narrators representing the various character perspectives.
Thank you #NetGalley for an audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Murderous lies abound in this "perfect family" domestic thriller.
I love a good family mystery and this one delivered in some ways. But it also left me with some unanswered questions and I didn't feel like the wife's background made as much sense as the husband's. I just felt like there were a lot of holes that the author didn't quite close up at the end.
The audiobook narrators were fantastic.
Trigger warning for descriptions of SA.

Good book, I really enjoyed all the connections to new kid. Wondered where things were going, I was surprised by the ending.

Suspense thriller packed with drama ! Loved the dual POV from the characters in the story.
The plot was well was spaced and the twists were good. I would recommend this thriller to friends.
Also.. the epilogue is the perfect conclusion to this story
Narrator was pretty good overall! I love audiobooks and this narrator was newer to me

Our Perfect Family is an amazing book full of family secrets and lies. It shows how far some people will go to protect themselves and the ones they love. I glanced at some of the reviews of Goodreads before writing mine and I just don’t agree with the star rating! I would hands down give this book a five star rating.
Was this story believable? Not entirely, but it isn’t beyond the realm of possibility either. Personally, I could not put it down which is why I give it five stars. I listened to the audiobook, so I highly recommend that. The narrators were wonderful. I love murder mystery books and this is one that keeps you guessing.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an audio ARC. This did not impact my review. I really loved the audiobook!

Every one has secrets in this story! The book focuses on one family (Austin, his wife Kate, and their daughter Mia), and the current issues and secrets they keep. Alternates between past and present timelines (it stays in the present for the most part). There is a small cast of characters and the story flows nicely alternating between each person. A few surprise twists sprinkled throughout. The narration is easy to follow along with multiple narrators as the cast of characters. The writing and audio are well done, and I felt I was right alongside each character. Short, quick chapters make this a good afternoon read.

I had one issue with this one right from the beginning. Our mom is hugging a teen boy and thinking he smells good. Teen boys do not smell good. For the rest of the book I could not trust her judgement.
The natation was good.

3.25 stars.
I love the narration of the book. It started really strong and had alot of twists. I liked the use of past and present but sometimes it did get a low muddled. Overall a solid thriller

This was a GREAT story to listen to! AWESOME narration! Great main characters. The plot was easy to find. The story was engaging and easy to follow. Will be purchasing this book. Shout out to Netgalley and publishing for allowing me to listen and review this story.
4 STARS!

Fast-paced and twisty thriller. The narrator presented the audiobook amazingly which I was drawn in immediately from the beginning. The characters were all stood out and easy to follow the story. Wonderful!

What an interesting twisty thriller that challenges family values and bullying. this book forces the audience to ask, "how far is too far for our family? for ourselves? for our dream?"
I think this is a great read for fans of modern thrillers and mysteries.
It left me with a few questions and even with the epilogue the end felt a bit unfinished.

A perfect family is destroyed by an online photo. I can't say that is a unique plotline in recent years. The fact that dad was a beloved teacher in the daughter’s school increased the drama. The secrets and lies of many are revealed, pulling back the facade of this beautiful, perfect little family. I enjoyed the jaw-dropping reveals and the unexpected ramifications they had. It was a well done story for a well-worn plot and made me want to read more by the author. Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

3.5/5
The narration was fantastic,
It was a juice story with plenty of twists that kept you guessing and entertained.
Enjoyed the story and all the character arcs.
I'd definitely read another book by this author
