Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for the advanced copy of the Audiobook.
Congratulations Nicola Marsh on your new book.
I am giving the book a rating of 3.75/5.
The narrating 5/5.
The story was very interesting and I was eager to find out what was happening. I enjoyed the characters and was curious to see what would happen.
The part of Kate kissing Eddie could have been skipped. It was weird and made me extremely uncomfortable, I almost DNF the book because of that part. I also wish we would have found out what happened to Greg and would have liked to see him held accountable and have charges against him.
I enjoyed the book, it was easy to listen to and quick. I will check out more books by this author.
The narrators were excellent and portrayed the characters very well.
Thank you again and congratulations to Nicola.

Thanks to #NetGalley and #DreamscapeMedia for the book #OurPerfectFamily by #NicolaMarsh. I really enjoyed this book as it is amore common problem family's and what it can do to the members of said families. Austin and Kate, and their daughter Mia, are the perfect family. Or are they? After a photo is taken of Mia and plastered all over the school, Mia is traumatized over it and everything starts to get twisted. Secrets that were never meant to be revealed are now out there for everyone to see. We shall see if they all survive this?

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape First for the eAudiobook ARC! The Yates family seems perfect on the surface, but there are many secrets underneath. When photos of Mia, the daughter of Kate and Austin, surface online, Austin will do whatever it takes to protect her. But when secrets and scandals from Austin's past start to resurface, will the family be able to pull together and overcome the storm or will the past destroy them? Full of intrigue and suspense, Our Perfect Family is an engaging listen with a perfect, atmospheric performances from Jodie Harris, Nikki Thomas, and Andrew Cutcliffe.

This one was okay.
Audiobook was easy to get through and the story was decent.
I think if this was physical it would have been harder to get through so glad I did the audiobook

Narration & Performance
One of the standout features of this audiobook is the use of multiple narrators for different characters. This really helped distinguish them, making it easier to follow the story despite the large cast. Initially, I found it a bit confusing, but the narration style made a big difference in placing everyone. The Australian accents added an extra layer of authenticity and enjoyment—I was hooked on them!
Story & Pacing
The plot itself was relatively easy to follow, but it didn’t have the gripping tension I’d expect from a thriller. By about 30% in, it felt more like a teen drama than a psychological suspense novel. While there were moments of intrigue, the stakes didn’t feel particularly high. That being said, if you enjoy family dramas with a mystery element, this could still be an engaging listen.
Overall Thoughts
As an audiobook, Our Perfect Family shines through its strong narration, making it an immersive listening experience. However, the storyline may not satisfy those looking for a deeply thrilling or twist-filled read. If you enjoy lighter mysteries with a focus on family dynamics, this might be worth a listen!

3.5 Stars
Our Perfect Family by Nicola Marsh is a domestic thriller that explores family dynamics and the lengths one will go to protect loved ones. The plot is engaging and the characters are well-developed, though some twists are predictable and the pacing can drag at times.
I love multi-cast audiobooks, and the narrators did an excellent job with the narration.
Overall, it’s a solid listen for fans of domestic thrillers.

Thank you to NetGalley for access to this audiobook.
Our Perfect Family is currently only in audiobook format and I really enjoyed the cast of narrators. The story unfolds from multiple points of view and a dual timeline. These aspects kept me engaged throughout the story.
From the outside, the Yates family is picture perfect, but they have some dark secrets. After an online attack on the daughter, Mia, the family's perfect facade starts to crumble and we begin to learn what everyone is hiding.
This was a good family drama, but I didn't feel the suspense or thriller aspect that I have with other books. It was fairly predictable and there wasn't a big twist moment for me.

A story about lies, deceit and the past following close behind! I found this story very intriguing but ehh, it was just okay for me. 3 stars! :)

3.6 stars (rounded up) - Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC audiobook of Our Perfect Family. The story unfolds through the perspectives of three characters—Mia, Austen, and Kate—each narrated by a different voice, which made it easy to follow and engaging to listen to. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life!
While the plot was captivating enough, it occasionally felt anticlimactic. I was definitely intrigued, eager to uncover the big secret (or rather, the multiple secrets, since every character seemed to have their own). However, the story was fairly predictable, and the way everything played out felt a bit too convenient.
As the book emphasizes, a lie is never just a single lie—it can quickly spiral into something much bigger. That theme was well executed, even if I found myself disliking pretty much every character, lol. Despite that, it was still an enjoyable listen!

This was a very strange one for me! Unfortunately, there
I did not like ANY of the characters… not even a little bit… and that makes for a scary story…
Austin grew up in a family surrounded by wealth. Have everything you need? ✔️
Have a Mom and Dad who love you, and show you? Ummm… 🤔
Kate grew up with, well, nothing. She vowed to change that, and set her sights on Austin. They got married very young, and had Mia.
Mia is now a senior in HS. From the outside it looks like she has the perfect family! But, from the inside…not so much…
And when something happens to her at a HS party, well, the whole family goes off the rails!
And so I’ll ask you….what would YOU do to protect your family? Whatever it takes? Well, then this book is for you too!!
3 1/2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 for me, rounded up to 4!
#OurPerfectFamily by #NicolaMarsh and narrated nicely by #Jodie Harris; #Nikki Thomas and #Andrew Cutcliffe.

Synopsis
Achieving perfection often comes with a hefty price. Austin Yates, a well-respected high school teacher and dedicated family man, finds his life spiraling out of control after a vicious online attack leaves his teenage daughter deeply shaken. Family is his top priority, and he’s ready to do whatever it takes to shield them from harm, even if it means confronting the source of the threat head-on. For Kate, Austin is her hero, the man who has always been there for her. As a loving wife and mother, she’s committed to keeping her family intact. However, when scandalous rumors and accusations about Austin start to circulate in their tight-knit community, Kate is faced with a heart-wrenching dilemma: should she stand by the man who has given her everything, or prioritize the safety of the family she’s vowed to protect? Meanwhile, Mia just wanted to finish her last year of school without any drama, but an embarrassing photo turns her world upside down. With the pressure mounting and the walls closing in, her next decision could either tear her family apart or bring them closer together. In a town where gossip spreads like wildfire, the hidden truths of one family are on the verge of being revealed, and the consequences could be dire.
My Thoughts
Our Perfect Family is a twisty family drama that kept me entertained all the way through. It had its ups and downs, but it really held my attention until the end. I loved the multiple perspectives and the way it moved between different time periods. Nicola Marsh does a good job of building suspense and delivering drama. Just a quick note, the themes of online attacks and leaked intimate photos are something many people can relate to, so make sure to check the trigger warnings. All in all, it was a good audiobook. The narrators, Jodie Harris, Nikki Thomas, and Andrew Cutliffe, really nailed their performances.
Thank You @Netgalley and @DreamscapeMedia for allowing me to review this audiobook.

Our Perfect Family by Nicola Marsh is a story about the Yates family, Austin, Kate and their daughter Mia. On the outside, their family looks picture perfect. But just below the surface, secrets may destroy them.
Thanks to @netgalley and @dreamscape_media for an advance listening opportunity.

Our Perfect Family, by Nicola Marsh and narrated by Andrew Cutcliffe, Danny Collins and the brilliant Jody Harris, they all gave such an awesome performance. dad Austin, mom Katie and teenage daughter Maya make up this popular family in their little enclave tucked away in small town, Australia. there is way too much going on for me to give a really good summary without giving key plot points away so what I will say is, mom Katie makes a party faux pas at the barbecue, Maya makes a teenage mistake at a party with her friends and dad Austin does something more than once that will change the family‘s future forever. A well respected family that are like big fish and a small pond dad Austin is a very beloved teacher mom Katie is the perfect host and Maya is the perfect daughter but events started long before she was even born that are going to change that. if you wanna book that’s going to suck you in and not let you go until the end, then you definitely need to listen to this audiobook. I thought it was awesome! You absolutely know who’s talking when they’re talking because each voice is done by a different narrator which I thought made it much better. I usually do not like multiple POV’s because when they do the other characters their voice is different but with this one for some reason it didn’t bother me at all what a great read.#NetGalley, #DreamscapeFirst, #TheBlindReviewer, #MyHonestReview, #NicolaMarsh, #OurPerfectFamily,

To be honest I expected this book to be a little darker than it was. To have more murder and those scenes to last longer if you know what I mean. I still really enjoyed it. But it was not my type of thriller. I liked that it was fast paced and there was always something happening. There wasnt a moment in the book that I thought was unnecessary

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC opportunity!
This was so good. Everyone had something to hide and a secret to be sought out. It felt pretty realistic to what the rich would do to not tarnish their name.
Poor Mia was in the middle of everything and just trying to survive. And honestly poor Eddie too. This boy just moved here and immediately gets thrown to the wolves on so many fronts.
This was very entertaining and kept me interested til the end!

Thanks to Dreamscape Media for the ARC (audiobook)
From the first chapter, Our Perfect Family grips you with its sharp storytelling, unraveling a web of deception, loyalty, and the dark consequences of unchecked ambition. At its core, this is a story about a family willing to do anything to protect their own, but in a town where whispers bloom faster than the truth, even the most carefully tended lies will eventually wilt under scrutiny.
The brilliance of this novel lies in its narration, with each character convinced of their righteousness, painting themselves as the victims while the truth lingers just out of reach. The pacing is relentless, the tension thick, and a new layer is unearthed when you think you understand the stakes. By the final act, the weight of buried secrets proves too much to contain, and retribution arrives in the most poetic ways.
It is a fast-paced, addictive listen that keeps you second-guessing until the very end. This one is a must-read if you enjoy thrillers where morality is murky and the past refuses to stay buried.

What a chaotic yet perfect family! There are so many stories blending together. Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for this ARC.

Families may look perfect from the outside, but all families have problems, some worse than others.
Mia Yates is devasted when an intimate photo goes viral. Her parents Austin and Kate are shocked and worried. Like most fathers Austin is determined to protect his family. People are cruel and always ready to condemn, gossip, and embellish what they have heard. Something from Austin’s past comes back to haunt him. Their love and devotion to each other is tested. Will their family survive.
It is sad but this tale could be real. There have always been bullies but social media has made it ten times worse. The author Nicola Marsh writing is superb. She brings this drama to life. The story is told from three points of view, Mia, Austin, and Kate. The characters were well developed. My heart went out to Mia, Austin and Kate for the pain each one faced. There is a dual timeline, the story flows smoothly between past and present.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC/

I did not finish this; mainly I felt it had too much YA vibe with a teen POV but more so that I do not enjoy sexually explicit content at all (gross) and definitely do not want to hear about it with respect to teenagers.
The narrators did great though admittedly I also do not enjoy the Australian accent...

There are secrets, and then there are SECRETS. This foundation of this family is built on a mountain of secrets and lies. A group of twisted people all masquerading as regular normal people in love with each other, their daughter and their life.
Austin is a well respected teacher, but when the rumors start, he is sure he knows who is spreading them, wondering how that person found out and most importantly, how to stop them. He is absolutely sure he knows he is right, but is he? He grew up in a wealthy family that had expectations and where aesthetics and perception matter more than reality. Money was abundant. love was not. Kate had a terrible childhood, plotted an escape and set her sights on Austin when they were in university. And so begins their descent into years of fakery. The one thing they’re both on the same page about is their beloved daughter. When something traumatic and despicable happens to her, things take yet another turn for the worse. Things unravel and lead to a good, but not terribly surprising ending. It was a well narrated listen.
