Thank you for the ARC. This story had such a great message for kids to always look at the “awesome” part of the day. Things happen, we make mistakes but we learn from them and still see the positive in things. The pictures were well done.

Awesome of the Day is a great book for kids to teach them to see the positive in everyday. As kids, things are going to go wrong - you messed up on a test, forgot your homework, get into a fight with your friends or siblings, get the wrong hair cut, the list goes on and on. And at a young age, these negative experiences can be overwhelming and weigh heavily on a child's mind and heart. In this story, Andrew's sister Amelia encourages him to try and find one positive thing about each day. At first it's hard, but by the end of the book he sees more positives in the day than negatives. And isn't this a great foundation for children's mental health! I thoroughly enjoyed this children's book and the illustrations were fantastic! Even as an adult I need the reminder to see the positive in each day.

My thanks to the author, Two Lions Publishing and Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely loved this children's book about looking for the positive in every day. It's always easy to see the negative and to complain, but this book shows children the importance and the ease to look for the positives too. Early readers and listeners will be able to understand this story and gain positivity from it and an important lesson from the story. The illustrations are also great! Thank you for the opportunity to read and view before the release date!

Andrew finds no joy in anything all day every day. It's always gloom and doom. Amelia, his big sister finally tells him that he is always unhappy and needs to think of something joyful at least one time of day. It is hard for Andrew at first, but he finally begins to see things in a different light and even his bad days become better.
This book is such an inspiration, especially during a time when people are having a hard time finding joy. It's nice when someone reminds you and cares enough to help see it in the simple things in life.
Awesome of the Day is perfect for kids or anyone who needs a bit of affirmation that things will work out and be ok. The pictures are bright, colorful, and beautifully illustrated. This will be a book I will be using with my students as an activity.

This sweet, relatable children's book speaks to the heart of what we all need to be better at: finding JOY throughout our days. It's not without hard days and things going wrong, but choosing to not let that define our days as a whole. This was a great story, visually engaging & fun to read. Ultimately, even on a hard days, helping us remember the greatest part of our AWESOME in this life is who we share it with!

I was wondering when I started this book why so doom and gloom, but Amelia quickly helped Andrew turn his outlook around. I think this life lesson is a grand one to be taught. It is so easy to see the negative and harp on those ideas. But to try and train the brain to see the positive in daily thoughts is much more effective to a positive outlook on life. Every kiddo should read/be read this book.
