Avery Keene is back in the third book in Stacey Abrams series. I enjoyed the first two books and was anxious to continue the journey with Avery Keene. This is a timely novel with all the current advances in Artificial Intelligence today. What happens if AI evolves a on its own and countermands its human program and instructions. Read and find out!

Stacey Abrams is three for three with the Avery Keene series. I hope there is more to come! It was difficult figuring out the direction of this novel, which is not a bad thing because I was thoroughly engaged. I mostly oscillated between science fiction and cyber thriller. I honestly hoped for the former because the capabilities of AI in this novel was scary! This novel is so poignant with the nearly unavoidable presence of AI in our life. I found the discussion between the advantages and disadvantages of AI interesting and informative. I'm still processing the ending!

Stacey Abrams is back with her third Avery Keene thriller! I loved the first two novels in this series (While Justice Sleeps, Rogue Justice) and, unsurprisingly, could not put Coded Justice down. Avery, now working at a white-shoe DC law firm, is hired by Camasca, a tech firm situated at the intersection between artificial intelligence and veterans' health care. A Camasca engineer is dead, and something fishy (and, perhaps, deadly) is afoot with the AI systems. Avery rounds up the gang (Jared, Ling, Noah) to help her investigate. But will they all make it out alive? I found this novel to be timely, twisty, terrifying, and unputdownable. Already looking forward to Avery's next adventure!

Great read! First read from this author. This book makes me want to read more from this author. Kept my attention and interest until the end.

good mystery of what happens when AI takes over and tries to help patients. loved the friends who help Avery. loved the slight romance. Loved the team and trying to solve what really happened in the room.
