This book was so good! I love the dragons and all of the overall time magic that was involved in this book! My favorite show is Loki and this book reminded me so much of it and I love that! The characters were well written and the plot was well made!

Kylie Lee Baker is quickly becoming an auto-buy author for me. She has a beautiful way of writing, and no matter what story she is telling, she will always deliver a fantastic read. This story is unlike everything else that I have read by her as she explores a more precious and adorable world, which says a lot because this story is dealing with rogue agents destroying a corrupt timeline which does not sound cute. There are many secrets to unravel, timelines to visit, and people to find, save, or eliminate in this delightful read.
RELATIONSHIPS & CHARACTERS -
Mina - Mina is an agent who has dragon blood in her, which means that she is able to time travel. She is assigned missions and infiltrations, and she must complete tasks that restore the timeline from rogue agents. She has always been devoted and has trusted the timeline, even if her parents have never been promoted and she cannot stay in one place long enough to do anything worthwhile. Her dream is to get promoted to be able to take on bigger time jumps, but she gets distracted by another agent who changes her whole understanding of the timeline and what she needs to do. She battles dilemmas within herself and with the world, and the fate of the timeline rests in her hands and a boy who infuriatingly is always there.
Yejun - Kylie Lee Baker writes some of the best male characters because they are always so sweet, thoughtful, and a little all over the place in that adorably chaotic way. Yejun is no exception. As a rogue agent, Yejun is trying not to be erased from the world as he attempts to complete his own mission that inevitably involves Mina. He does his best to convince her to help him, and after a lot of trying and a lot of food, he is able to. But he is not only working to end the corruption within the timeline, but also to maybe win over Mina.
Jihoon - He is such a sweetheart and he is such a mess. He deserves the life he is going to get.
Descendants of Dragons - I do not really understand the inclusion of dragon ancestry, and found this aspect of the characters to be underdeveloped and minimally relevant. Exploring this side of the story would have turned this more high fantasy-leaning than I think this book was intended to be, which could be why it was not an important presence, but I still feel it being in the story at all was unnecessary.
ENGAGEMENT & ENJOYMENT -
This was a quick, easy, and sweet read. Nothing was too complicated, and there was enough intrigue in what would happen next with the characters and the timeline to want to keep reading. Though the chapters were long, I personally did not feel like I was reading for as long as I was, and I flew through the pages. The convoluted time loops and the ripple effects of events were by far my favorite part. If you are looking for a simple, cute read, this is it.
ATMOSPHERE & SETTING -
The book does not take place in one setting, but rather several places and several times within Korea and mentions of Japan. The setting therefore does not have great importance, and is not developed much. There are places frequented, such as cafés, but locations are changed frequently and do not impact the story. Everything, as is with the whole book, is just charming and endearing, even though they are trying to prevent the end of the world and corruption. The stakes never feel high and there is minimal intensity despite some of the more threatening scenes.
DEVELOPMENT & PLOT -
The main plot is introduced rather quickly and there are not really any side quests that need to be developed. I do not quite understand what the original infiltration missions are for or what they achieve, since the only parts that affect the timeline are the missions given to higher-ranked agents with direct impact on the world. I found the domino effect of all of the actions to be very well thought out and the intricacy of it all was extremely well planned. The writing of this was so creative and I looked forward to every time a timeline architect needed to run scenarios. I also thoroughly enjoyed catching onto hints and seeing the relevance of seemingly random acts come into play later on, and how the time loops repeated themselves.
Thank you Kylie Lee Baker, Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, and NetGalley for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for my genuine review!

This was exactly the refreshing twist I needed in my fantasy lineup—time travel, dragon gods, a corrupt secret society, and a sweet romance. If you love anime or Umbrella Academy you’ll feel right at home with this one.

This book was such a unique blend of heartbreak, sci-fi, and emotion. Kylie Lee Baker really knows how to pull you into a world that feels both surreal and deeply personal. I loved the concept and the writing style. It felt lyrical without being too much. There were a few moments where I wished the pacing was tighter, but overall it hit hard in all the right places. A beautiful, thought-provoking read.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the e-ARC!

I read the author's duology The Scarlet Alchemist and wanted more, and after reading this book, I realized I would read everything she writes!
I really like her style; it's uncomplicated and enjoyable. When you start reading, you immediately sense that it will be interesting, regardless of what is written.
Time travel, tangled timelines where you see yourself from the past and future from a distance. Sorry, I’m from the past, I’ll have to drop food on you.
Actually, at first, I struggled to get into it, but then it became easier and quicker.
The story is told from the FMC's perspective, and I would have liked to see chapters from the MMC's too. They’re both likable; I was rooting for them!
Yang Mina, descended from a Japanese dragon god, was born with the power to travel through time and has spent her life training to take her place in the Descendants, a secret organization whose purpose is to protect the timeline. But she learns that she once had a sister, who was erased from existence. She meets Yejun, a rogue agent who asks for her help in stopping corruption.
I love time travel, and this book is no exception because I was hooked from the very beginning.

Oh my there are so many things about this book that I absolutely love. I really love reading YA books because you get a brand new lease on reading that you do not often get in adult fiction books. This book is unique and had me wanting more when I finished the book.
Let's start with how easy it was to fall in love with Mina and Yejun. They are so entwined with each other and it is a classic teenage take on the developing relationship. It was written so well into the book.
The writing is beautifully done in this book. It really covered every element that it needed to. There was groundwork that was laid out in the beginning of the book and throughout that made the story flow smoothly and you always knew exactly what was going on in the story. I just cannot say enough good things about this book.
I really appreciate the chance to read this early. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that enjoys reading YA books and is looking for a unique book that really captivates you from the start.

Current rating: 4 stars
Personally, I enjoyed the writing style! It was a nice palate cleanser before I dive into more lore-heavy fantasy, so I just had fun with it. Don't go into this expecting too much plot, but consider picking this up if you want to read a time travel story that's light and kind of silly. Some lines were a little ridiculous, but most of it worked for me, so I wasn't really complaining. I also liked the way many moments came full circle, as well as how trivial events could cause something much more major (butterfly effect!)
Mina was alright, even if she could be unlikable (enjoyed her inner monologue though!), and I liked Yejun's puppy dog energy. The romance definitely felt a bit rushed + forced, as the length of the book didn't really allow for too much development, but it was fine.
Overall, this book was a quick read that kept me entertained. This isn't the kind of book I would be too nitpicky on, so I decided on 4 stars. I'm very interested in reading Kylie Lee Baker's adult horror novel as I really like the premise and love seeing how diverse the genres of her books are!

The voice in I'll Find You Where the Timeline Ends immediately sucked me in. I had so much fun reading.

Wow. This book is incredible. I can’t stop thinking about it. The characters are lovable, the plot is engaging, the themes are soul-wrenching, and the writing style is beautiful.
I picked this book up with the expectation of reading for a little bit before bed, but big mistake; the first chapter is so captivating that I couldn’t put this book down. I finished it in one sitting.
This YA book is perfection. I wish I had read this book when I was a teen. The FMC, Mina, is so relatable. We follow her POV as she navigates her life while searching for her sister. It’s emotional, comedic, and so heart-warming.
The world-building was well done; it never felt info-dumpy. The foreshadowing and easter eggs left throughout the story were well done. This is a book that will easily become a long-lasting favorite and will get better with each read-through.
Vivid descriptions made me feel like I was there with Mina. The pacing of the plot felt consistent all the way through. The twist caught me by surprise! Every character felt like they had so much depth and were well-rounded.
This is the perfect book for you if you like a mysterious love interest, a badass heroine, a unique magic system, and way too much cheesecake.
Thank you, Macmillan Children's Publishing Group and NetGalley, for the ARC!

YA fantasy has been saved everybody clap and cheer we are so back
When Mina realizes the time-traveling organization she works for has erased her sister from time itself, she teams up with Yejun, a rogue time traveler, to find her sister in the timeline. This was such a cute and fun YA modern fantasy book. The time magic was explained beautifully and actually made sense, and every single moment with the “Echos” (or a double of a person) was explained. There was no loose ends. Hyebin was such a perfect side character who left you wondering the entire time. Yejun and his continuous cheesecake buying for Mina was so cute, and I’m just obsessed with them. It was such a fun book and it was easy to read through while not being too brainless or empty. I’m literally obsessed with Yejun and Mina, I thought they were the cutest ever and I need thousands of novellas about them now!!
“All I know is that no matter how many times this plays out, I’ll choose you every time.”

I’ll Find You Where the Timeline Ends by Kylie Lee Baker
A time-bending, emotionally charged journey blending sci-fi and mythology. Baker delivers a story that’s equal parts heartache and hope, examining grief, identity, and fate. A compelling read for those who love high-stakes alternate realities.

❥・ overall thoughts
it was sorta hard for me to get through this book, just because it was very info-dump heavy at the start and then... it was still a bit confusing LMAO and then i kinda just gave up on trying to understand 'cus i kept having to reread. overall the story wasn't BAD but it wasn't amazing, everything felt a bit lukewarm.
❥・ the plot (some minor spoilers)
⤷ the good
the concept was really interesting to me! i did like seeing how small moments caused a butterfly effect, that was pretty neat to see how something insignificant can cause such a big change.
⤷ the bad
lotsssssss of infodumping at the beginning that was a bit overwhelming. and then things didn't get explained well so i was left pretty confused for the rest of it.
the characters... are bland. except for maybe yejun? he was the most interesting. everyone else literally fell so flat for me omg.
the echo thing was a bit confusing tbh. i felt like it wasn't explained as clearly as it could've been. the concept of it was cool tho!
❥・ characters
⤷ mina ┊ • dragon girlie •
mina mina mina... she needed more substance to her. she needed that OOMPH that she didn't have. there's not much to say about her because the only thing i remembered was how much she wanted to meet Hana. this is fine!! its her goal!! but it's like she didn't have anything else at all for her...
⤷ yejun ┊ • dragon boy •
yejun was probably the saving grace for the characters. he was the only one that felt like... human and real-ish? but even then his character kinda got watered down at the end. i did love his personality since he felt a lot more complex than the rest of them.
⤷ hyebin, hana, hong gildong, etc. ┊ • side characters •
honestly the only one i even cared about was yejun since i felt like he was the most compelling one. hyebin just kinda... felt there? like she didn't really serve a purpose unless it was to assist Mina. It felt like none of the characters served a purpose beyond being a tool from Mina actually!! hong gildong was just a bit cartoonishly villainous too.
❥・ romance
it was cute! but i wish there was more explanation behind yejun's feelings. like we know that he falls for her no matter what, but it felt kinda inorganic?? in a way?? i wish there was more of him struggling NOT to. it also seemed like he remembered her? but also not? but she doesn't remember him from the other timelines? is it because he's the one resetting it..? but if he is then wouldn't Gildong know? so many questions LMAO.
❥・ writing style
nothing that stood out to me personally! it jumped from bland to really colorful which was a bit jarring sometimes.

❥・ would i read it again?
probably not!

I’ll Find You Where The Timeline Ends follows Mina, a descendant of ancient dragon gods working alongside a hierarchy of descendants to use time magic to maintain the timeline. When she is approached by rogue descendant Yejun who tells her she had a sister and that he can help her fix the timeline and see her again, Mina is torn between her loyalty to the descendants and to a sister she never knew.
Oh where to begin? I adored the premise of this story. I found it incredibly complex and so creative. The challenge I have with an idea so unique is that it can be a bit hard to follow for the reader trying to understand and immerse themselves in this world. I did find this to be a bit of a confusing read at times and that resulted in me taking much longer to get through it than I normally would. I think maybe the confusion was intentional at times though. Also I think it’s worth noting that any book that delves so deep into time travel is going to be a bit mind-bending. By the time we got to the last 30% of the book I was IN IT and honestly if something confused me, I don’t really recall because I chose to just move past it for the sake of learning the truth and getting to the end of Mina and Yejun’s story.
If you are looking for a breezy quick read, this may not do it for you. If you are looking to get lost in a complicated world of scenarios and have to really think about if feeding a squirrel some peanut butter one day will cause ripples and a war the next day, give this one a read. Overall quite fun and I rather enjoyed the ending. 3.5 stars.

Every so often there is a YA novel that reminds me why the YA genre is so special and this definitely one of those books. The concept is unique and dives into a classic trope that gets me every single time. Kylie Lee Baker did a wonderful job with her take on the butterfly effect and time travel as a whole. I really appreciated how she built the story around her concept and made something so new feeling.
Her characters were easy to fall in love with. Mina and Yejun were crafted with love and that was clear. Their characters messed so well together in this almost reluctant feeling blooming attraction and romance. The twists with them was so done in a way I did not see coming.
The writing, to me, was well done. The plot flowed very well and I did not notice any glaring gaps. It felt very consistent while being easy to follow. The world building/background laying was sewn into scenes fantastically and it allowed those little details to feel like they were natural to the story instead a pause to add them.
Overall, I enjoyed this book a lot. From the use of mythology, to the unique magic systems, to the romance, I feel this is one that YA lovers will want to get their hands. It was an easy 4 stars for me!

Thank you so much to Feiwel & Friends and Netgalley for an e-ARC. This book would make for such a cool animated movie in the style of Jentry Chau or American Dragon Jake Long. I enjoyed the vivid imagery that made me believe I was in Korea. The description of the place and the food was fantastic.
I'll Find You Where the Timeline Ends is an endearing story about love, loss, self-love, and a whole lot of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff. Mina is a teenager who is also a "Descendant". Basically, she has dragon blood in her that grants time-travel magic. She isn't fully dragon, but she also isn't human. In the beginning of the novel, Mina is motivated by her desire to get promoted to higher security clearance so she can look into what happened to her sister, Hana. The only thing Mina knows, and the biggest thing that keeps her going, is a note that Hana left her when she moved into her new apartment with her parents that said "when you are ready, come and find me." This kicks off Mina's desire to complete her missions successfully so she can eventually gain the trust of her boss and gain access to Hana's location. Mina is refreshingly honest. Her flaws are endearing, but she is not self-deprecating. She is the first YA protagonist I have read in a while that, despite devastating revelations, is able to keep going.
Because of her honesty, a love triangle never developed. Which, is again, refreshing for a YA novel. Yejun was a fantastic foil to Mina. The twists and turns for their relationship was fascinating. The novel is told in a fractured manner, because of time travel stuff. But, all of the loose ends are tied up by the end. Overall, this was a highly enjoyable standalone!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the e-ARC for a chance to review!
Time travel, tangled timelines, and the tender ache of growing into your own power — I'll Find You Where the Timeline Ends is a heart-racing, time-bending adventure that blends sci-fi thrills with deeply personal growth. Kylie Lee Baker delivers a story that is just as much about chasing answers through paradoxes as it is about learning to save yourself.
At the core of this novel is Mina — sharp, determined, and vulnerable in ways that feel honest. Her journey through fractured moments in time was both exhilarating and, at times, dizzying (in the best way). I found myself as disoriented as she was trying to sort the present from the past — but rather than being frustrating, it made the experience more immersive. The narrative truly leans into the chaos of time travel without sacrificing emotional clarity.
Yejun brought levity and wisdom to the story, a perfect foil to Mina’s intensity. Their chemistry builds slowly and sincerely, and I genuinely enjoyed watching their bond unfold. It never overtook the story’s purpose, but instead added an anchor of emotional warmth amidst the existential stakes.
While the beginning was a bit slow to lift off — a few early scenes didn’t quite move the plot forward — the payoffs were worth the wait. Every loop closes, every paradox finds its resolution, and the end lands with real emotional satisfaction.
📚 One note for the publisher: I would strongly recommend including a content warning for death and blood at the start of the book before final publication. It’s a small addition that would make a big difference for readers who benefit from those heads-ups!
All in all, I’ll Find You Where the Timeline Ends is a thoughtful, fast-paced, and emotionally resonant story that I’ll definitely be recommending to my library and fellow readers. If you’re into time travel with heart and a heroine who learns that her greatest power lies within, this one’s for you!

I looooved this book! The plot, the characters, the romance…it was all perfect! Every little piece fell into place together in such a lovely way and I was so hyped up throughout the whole story that I found myself holding my breath in the ending. Mina and Yejun are such an endgame couple and I’m so glad with how the story unfolded!

This book is for everyone who wanted to know more about the ends and outs of the TVA from Loki—a time travel organization that employs people descended from these three dragons, and they clean up the timeline. But, it’s from the perspective of a young adult who is beginning to question the organization, especially when she meets Yejun, a so called rogue against the organization.
This book was so great. There were so many good twists—a lot that I never saw coming. I also really liked the time travel element in this book as it was quite unique from others in the genre, because the travel they did was to recent history.
Thank you to the Macmillan Children's Publishing Group, Feiwel & Friends, and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC in exchange for my honest thoughts.
This novel was an absolute breath of fresh air. It has such a unique story and magic system. Time travel can be difficult to execute, but Kylie did it EXCELLENTLY. Everything came back full circle and connected seamlessly, and I never saw those plot twists coming! I've been in a season where I started to feel like every story was just using the same recycled plot line. And this story LITERALLY brought life back into me.
I LOVED the rich culture that was woven into this book. This was a beautiful story that balanced cozy-lightheartedness with deep and complicated emotions and themes.
I loved watching Mina and Yejun's relationship blossom, loved watching them challenge each other and learn from each other.
This was my first Kylie Lee Baker book, and I for sure want to read more of her work!
Words to describe this book: Cozy Romance, Light Fantasy, Sweet, Impactful.

4 stars. I'm not usually a fantasy reader, or ya, but the description caught me. The world-building felt a little clumsy and I couldn't always exactly see what was going on, but it was worth reading and I'll probably buy it to read it again when it comes out. I really enjoyed the character development and how the main relationship grew. Putting the pieces together was so satisfying.
