I enjoyed this book a lot. My favorite of this author.
The story was engaging and I did not want to put it down. The story was unique and interesting.

I absolutely adore novels that captivate me from the very first page to the last, and Stacy Willingham’s latest masterpiece, “Forget Me Not,” truly delivers on that promise! This enthralling Southern mystery/thriller weaves the compelling tale of Claire Campbell, who becomes consumed by the haunting mystery of her sister's disappearance, a case that has lingered in her mind for the lastb 22 years.
In true Stacy Willingham fashion, “Forget Me Not” is intricately crafted to maximize suspense and intrigue at every turn. The dual timeline enriches the narrative, seamlessly blending past and present, and keeps readers eagerly guessing amid a web of secrets and hidden truths. If you’re a fan of eerie mysteries that pull you in and keep you awake long past your bedtime, then this book is an absolute must-read!

Exactly what I’m looking for when I decide I’m in the mood for a thriller. Great, gripping writing. A storyline that ties up at the end. Bravo.

I love when a thriller is so good, all I think about when I'm not reading it is how much I can't wait to get back to reading it. I was in a bit of reading slump going into this one but oh boy did that end quickly - I think between a day or two when I was not home and able to read it, I finished this book in three short days. The plot felt strong throughout, from the first page to the last. The author didn't waste time on any drawn-out or unnecessary scenes. Every character served their purpose well and was fleshed out just enough to feel real. The mystery was simple but well-plotted, and sometimes it's the simplest scary stories that are the most chilling, especially if they could actually happen anywhere. This is also helped by the haunting, whip-smart prose that wastes no words.
The main positive point for me was that the protagonist was - finally! - not a sad, underemployed, clueless woman who just wanders into the plot and doesn't see anything coming until it's screaming in her face. Claire is smart, resourceful, and is able to put two and two together. However this never makes her too mentally invincible to the grand mystery of the story, but it was a whole lot more enjoyable seeing her actually figure out the plot as she went. The story intertwines with her life so closely that at times she is blinded by her proximity to it all - but that all adds to the suspense as it comes crashing down around her. She is forced to face her fears and past traumas in order to solve a terrible, generations-long mystery.
Overall a strong thriller that will haunt you well after the last page. I'll definitely have to dive into Stacy's other novels now and hope they are just as good.

Stacy might be the queen of slow build tension thrillers. Page turning and filled with mystery this atmospheric read was one i'd reccomend!!

This was a really fun thriller and perfect for the summer. I loved the southern setting and really liked Claire investigating what she found in the diary. Sometimes the diary troupe doesn’t work for me but I thought it was really well done.

I was so excited to read an ARC of something by Stacy Willingham and I was not disappointed! She writes twisty/mystery/thrillers so well, and I enjoyed the cultish aspect as well. This was such an easy read, that kept me guessing, and with a cool setting. Worth the read, strong 4 stars!

I’ve enjoyed this author in the past, so it was a no brainer to pick this one up.
Interesting premise. Slightly clueless MC and a slowwww start made this one harder to keep picking up, but overall, a decent mystery/thriller read for the summer.

Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for an ARC of this book in exchange for honest feedback.
Another great thriller from Willingham! Her ability to weave an original story, even one built on a very familiar crime cult, is an art. The only reason I gave this one 3 stars is because the beginning of the book seemed to drag a little but once it got going it was hard to put it down.

This slow burn, seems to be going nowhere then out of the blue it hits you like a ton of bricks. I got so wrapped up in trying to figure out what happened to our main characters sister that I didnt see all the other moving parts until the last 2 hrs of the book..If you don't mind a slow start, this book is for you..

Gripping story of a sister determined to solve her sister's murder, not expecting the shocking truth.
This book kept me turning the page.

Such a great thriller! I love Stacy's books and she never misses. This was not an exception and was so captivating!

Willingham always writes page turners, and this one did keep me turning pages, tho also occasionally rolling my eyes. Claire’s older sister disappears long ago, she then becomes an investigative journalist, and then when she doesn’t get the promotion, she heads home to ostensibly help a mother she’s estranged from and instead gets wrapped up in looking into her sister’s long ago disappearance. It’s a good twisty mystery; there was just a waterfall of implausibly incidences for me. It was fine.

I am a recent fan of Stacy Willingham after reading Flicker in the Dark and was super excited about this new book!
Forget Me Not has eerily haunting in the same way but I felt that it lacked the same powerful element of surprise that her previous writing did. Don’t get me wrong, I throughly enjoyed the plot of the book and the twist was decent enough but there were a few moments that felt so far fetched to me I was brought out of the book a little.
I still give it 4 stars because the journal flashbacks were engaging and the pacing was good, I read this book quickly and though it didn’t blow my mind, it was a solid book

Claire Campbell is at that "in between" stage of life. She is climbing the ranks as an investigative journalistic the city, which has been her dream. The thing is, she isn't truly happy with it . When her father calls & encourages her to check in with her estranged mom, she decides to return to the town she grew up in for a few weeks and hit reset.
Life in her childhood home is still fraught with tension & the wounds of past . Her sister Natalie disappeared 22 years ago & the case looms large in her desires to investigate/report on tragedies. She decides to take a seasonal job at a vineyard an hour away in South Carolina. The place holds memories of a good day when she was a child, when they were still a family of four. But Galloway Farm isn't as idyllic as it seems and she in soon investigating a mystery that may reach back 22 years.
Thanks to St. Martin's Press ( who seems to print all the best mysteries) & NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This had me hooked from the beginning. Eerie murder mystery that keeps you wondering. Great ending with everything tied up neatly. A few small but good twists sprinkled in. Great read.

I am a HUGE Stacy Willingham fan. I’ve loved all of her books and the way she tells a story. She has a way of sucking you right in from the first page and this book was no different. This atmospheric thriller had so many twists and turns I didn’t see coming and truly was the best thriller I’ve read in a long time! I highly recommend reading this one when it comes out August 26th - this is definitely my new favorite book by her!

Thank you so much for the early read. I was super excited for this— the plot seemed to have all of my favorite tropes and themes but pacing felt slightly off and I struggled to connect to the MC. But I think many will greatly enjoy!

Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press. This book!!! This book!!! Stacy...you wrote this book!! I liked all of it. I will never spoil a book in the reviews that I provide. Go and read this one. It was something else!

I hate to say it but this one was a miss for me. I typically love books by Stacy Willilngham, but this was almost a DNF. Just seemed to drag, and I kept thinking the twist would have been more exciting. This one was just okay.
