Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press. This book!!! This book!!! Stacy...you wrote this book!! I liked all of it. I will never spoil a book in the reviews that I provide. Go and read this one. It was something else!

I hate to say it but this one was a miss for me. I typically love books by Stacy Willilngham, but this was almost a DNF. Just seemed to drag, and I kept thinking the twist would have been more exciting. This one was just okay.

The story started off a bit slow for me. Once the main character moved to the main setting of the story, I really enjoyed it and fwlt like it had 5 star potential. But then towards the end I got a bit confused about the storyline. Ultimately the ending was filled with too many confessions and explanations, so I lowered my rating to a 4 star.

Stacy willingham is an auto buy author for me! Absolutely love her writing style, her stories, are my favorite. This book was twisty, suspenseful and so hard to put down. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read an early copy

I love this author and I have read many of her other books. Let me tell you, this newest creation did not disappoint! Claire finds herself back in her home town 20 years later, where she is learning new information about what happened to her sister Natalie who went missing. There are so many dark secrets, twists, and thrills in this book, I honestly did not see a few of them coming.
The characters are created flawlessly with a realistic vibe.
If your looking for a book that is dark, thrilling, dramatic, and keeps you wanting to turn to that next page... this is it!

I felt this book is a little draggy and underwhelming. While I don't regret having read it, the book just didn’t draw me in as I’d expected.

Stacy Willingham has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Her books always keep me reading in anticipation. Forget me Not was no exception. The plot twist got me, I had no idea where this book was going to go and it did not disappoint. I'll continue to recommend all of her books.

A slow paced mystery with just enough intrigue to keep you guessing til the very end!
Claire reluctantly returns to her hometown in South Carolina where her sister disappeared 22 years ago, to help her estranged mom recover from a fall. Feeling unwelcome, she leaves her childhood home and chooses to work at the winery where her sister had her last summer job. While digging for the truth, she uncovers long-buried secrets while putting her own life in danger.
Family secrets, cultish vibes and an eerie atmosphere combine to create all the tension needed in a mystery. While the pacing is on the slower side, the story comes together with a shocking, twisty conclusion. I loved the dark, true-crime feel and the hidden diary, an element that always grips me. I just wish the diary chapters were told in 1st person (I'm not sure why Willingham chose a 3rd person approach.)
I wouldn't categorize FORGET ME NOT as a thriller but it's definitely a step-up from her previous novel. I recommend it for readers of dark, gothic mysteries.

Another mysterious and haunting novel from Willingham, this one set in a small North Carolina town. Family secrets, predators, dark lies, and an ending that makes you question everything.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Another 5 star read by Stacy. She is one of my favorite authors, I am thankful to have read this one early. This thriller did not go as I thought it would, but dug deeper into family dynamics, trauma, and loss. We learn a lot about all three 'families' in the book, and a few change in the end.

Another great read by Stacy Willingham!
Although there were parts were I started to get the story and characters mixed up, it all weaved together for me in the end. There were a couple great twists I didn’t see coming. Although it was a bit slow in the beginning, the middle and end made the book impossible to put down!

Mysterious and haunting drama
A chilling tale of predators, family drama, dark lies, and well-meaning deceit. It does what it is meant to do, lull you into quiet speculation, ignore creepy behaviour & taunt the unhinged.- Culminating with a twisted conclusion
Questionable choices and a stubborn streak put our protagonist in danger as she pushes for the truth..

3 stars.
I just felt meh about this book. I didn't regret reading it but it's one I would say is not worth reading. If you like thrillers, just be aware that this is more of a slow burn mystery with culty vibes.
It’s about a journalist named Claire who’s spent decades trying to forget that her older sister, Natalie, disappeared after her 18th birthday. The case was closed fast, but Claire never really got answers. Out of nowhere, she gets a call from her dad and ends up back in her hometown for the summer, stuck with nothing to do.
She meets a man named Liam at the store and he mentions a random seasonal job at a vineyard nearby, Galloway Farm. It seems like the perfect quiet escape, plus it’s a place where Natalie was really happy before she vanished. But then Claire stumbles across an old diary from one of the vineyard’s owners. At first, it’s just some nostalgic, rebellious teenage stories, but soon it starts revealing creepy details about unsolved crimes. And the more she reads, the more she starts wondering if Natalie’s disappearance is somehow connected.
This had potential but just didn't reach the mark. The beginning was compelling and had me wanting to keep turning pages to know what happens next but as unexpected the “twist” was, it wasn’t a great one
Thank you to St.Martin’s Press/ Minotaur Books and NetGalley for this complimentary e-arc in exchange for an honest review

This story was full of surprises as Claire begins to unravel what really happened to her sister at Galloway Farm. Even though she's a journalist, she goes to work as a farm hand in a place that was formerly a commune. The unwinding of the real history around her sister is well done!
I received this book from Net Galley and have left and honest review.

I thought that this book had a very cool setting at a farm/vineyard. It was a slow burn trying to figure out how the past connected to the present and how close her employers really were to the MC's family.

Received as an eARC from NetGalley
This book pulled me in from the beginning. I was eager and determined to finish to find the answers that Claire was seeking. The ending was a complete shock! A must read! Highly recommended!!

Thank you to St Martin's Press and Stacy Willingham for this advanced reader copy. I have read all of her books, but wow, this one kept me up at night wondering what was happening at Galloway Farm. The characters were well thought out and kept you guessing who was behind the madness. I did not want it to end. I love a thriller book, and this is a great one to grab. Get ready for a thrill ride and several twists you will not see approaching as you turn each page. Perfect beach trip read, sit out on your deck, and devour this one!

As with most books by Stacy Willingham this one started a bit slow but once the foundation was set it took you for a wild ride. This was one of those books where I was so certain I knew what was going on and instead got completely flabbergasted by the ending. I truly didn’t want to put this book down until I knew how it ended (and may have ignored some responsibilities to finish it). I’ll absolutely be recommending this book when it comes out!

If you’re looking for a fun, mystery/thriller, “Forget Me Not” is sure to excite your heart rate. The story opens with burned out, mid career journalist, Claire. She
quit her job and is aimlessly trying to navigate freelance journalism with little luck and no leads. When her dad calls her back home to assist her injured mother, she’s unwilling but acquiesces and returns home to the Deep South to face the ghosts of her past (ie. Memories of the summer her sister was murdered). A tragic and emotionally tense reception at home leads Claire to change her summer plans, and she ends up taking an impromptu job at the farm her sister worked at before she died. As she begins to get established on the farm, she starts noticing that not everything is as it seems. He journalism instincts kick into high gear as she becomes more and more determined to uncover the truth— and the truth just keeps getting more and more grisly the deeper she digs.
I really enjoyed this book, it’s a perfect summer read!!
I would like to thank St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Forget Me Not completely sucked me in from the first few pages. The Southern setting was lush and moody, the kind of place that feels both comforting and unsettling, which worked so well for the story.
The plot follows Claire, a journalist who returns home after new evidence surfaces in her sister’s decades old disappearance. As she starts digging through the past (and through an old diary, loved that detail), things unravel in ways she definitely wasn’t prepared for. There were some genuinely chilling moments and twists that had me flipping pages way too late at night.
I’ll be honest I did figure out the twist a little early, but that didn’t take away from the tension. The journey there still had plenty of surprises and emotional weight. I appreciated how it wasn’t just about the mystery, but also about grief, memory, and how much the past shapes us.
My only critique would be that some parts felt a bit tropey (like the reliance on pills/alcohol to show distress), but it didn’t ruin the experience for me. Willingham’s writing is lyrical and cinematic, she really knows how to build suspense without making it feel overdone.
Overall, this was a solid, binge worthy thriller. Perfect for anyone who loves a slow burn mystery with emotional depth and a strong sense of place.
