Love all of Stacy’s books! This one was no different! I did kind of see where it was going but I definitely enjoyed the ride!

Stacy Willingham does it again! Another slow burn that kept me reading and curious. It was a great pace and nothing felt too rushed.

Another great mystery by Stacey Willingham. A story of sibling love and the grief of a family. Beautifully written and the mystery was well drawn out. The twists and turns were great and the ending put a great bow on the story.

Stacy Willingham is one of those drop everything and read, authors for me. But I am sad to say this one did not keep up with that trend. Still the queen of plot twists as always, but it seems her female leads are becoming more and more whiney and incapable with each book release and that is most evident in Claire Campbell.

Claire lost her sister when she was murdered by a psycho 12? Years ago and just cannot move on. I mean understandably so, but now she’s quit/lost her steady job, and finds herself back where it all took place in some hodunk backwoods - esque Carolina town.

The setting of it all is this tawdry winery with suspect old people. If you have ever seen the movie the Legion, I pictured the old lady crawling on the ceiling for one particular person and I think you’ll understand when you read it. But this didn’t keep my attention like her other novels do. The plot twist I didn’t see coming redeems this, but it also could have surprised me because I kept spacing out occasionally.

Hoping the next one has that punch from SW we are used to.

Fresh out of a job and still grieving the loss of her sister, Natalie, who went missing twenty-two years ago, Claire Campbell leaves New York and returns home to South Carolina, where she is confronted with unresolved questions about what really happened to her sister that fateful summer.
When she decides to take a job at the local vineyard, the last place her sister ever worked, she has no idea just how many buried secrets she may unearth there.
I have zero chill when it comes to Stacy Willingham's thrillers.
The second they hit my Kindle, I am compelled to read them immediately. Although I did not love her previous book, Only If You're Lucky, her newest did not disappoint. In fact, more than a week later, it is still living in my head, completely rent-free.
This story is incredibly haunting. The prose, atmospheric nature, dark themes, and setting all make for a really eerie backdrop within which to drop these very interesting characters. The characters themselves are fully fleshed out and could just as easily exist off the page as on; pretty scary considering one or more of them may be murderers.
Willingham keeps the reader on their toes consistently. There were so many fantastic twists and turns along the way, many of which I did not see coming. When it is over, you can look back and see the breadcrumbs missed; everything making sense when all is said and done. If I have just one small criticism, it is that the pacing was slightly wonky, with a few chapters feeling much slower than others. That said, I was able to quickly push past that issue because of how engaged I was with the overarching story.
Of note, there is one aspect of the writing itself that I am still incredibly confused about. The journal Claire finds and reads is told entirely in the 3rd person, not 1st. I have never seen that before, and I am still questioning the decision to do so.

I loved Flicker in The Dark. This book was a return to form for me. It starts slow and sucks you end right to the end.

(This book is more of a 3.5 stars book than 4, if I could choose half star ratings.)

I'll be honest—I didn’t love Stacy Willingham’s previous book... it just didn’t click with me the way I hoped it would. So I went into Forget Me Not cautiously, and to my surprise, I found myself more engaged this time around.

That said, I still struggled a bit with the pacing. Some sections felt dragged out, and while I connected more with the main character and plot this time, there were still decisions and turns in the story that didn’t quite land for me. It was better, but not completely satisfying.

Overall, Forget Me Not was a definite improvement and had enough intrigue and connection to character(s) to keep me reading. While it didn’t blow me away, I can see fans of psychological thrillers enjoying it more than I did. For me, it was solid—but just shy of something I’d rave about. Thank you, NetGalley!

Was so excited to get this copy as I absolutely love her books! This is such an easy yet solid read and it was suspense and mystery. The characters are interesting and well written. I also enjoyed the different time period giving the reader a better understanding this was a great book!

Forget Me Not gives Southern thriller vibes. It takes place on a farm in South Carolina. While I loved most of Stacy Willingham's other books, this one didn't live up to my expectations.

The mystery seemed almost too straightforward; the likely answer was the answer. I knew as soon as Claire came to the farm that it was a sketchy place. The pacing also felt off; there were many slow parts, which resulted in me struggling to keep going.

Claire Campbell’a older sister Natalie disappeared when she was 18, and although her body was never discovered, the case was quickly closed.

Claire, who is not an investigative journalist, enlists on a trip home for the first time in years. Upon returning home, Claire goes through some of Natalie’s old belongings. She finds an old picture of Natalie at Galloway Farms and impulsively decides to take a visit there. Will Claire find answers from her past?

Overall, this is a gripping thriller that will keep you turning the pages. For me, the first half was just a little bit slow, but the second half had me not wanting to put the book down. I thought there was great suspense & twists.

Thank you to NetGalley for the DRC of this book.

A really solid who done it. A story inside a story both mysteries keep you guessing. Lots of twists and turns in this one.

I really enjoyed reading this book! It was emotional, suspenseful, scary – basically all the feels that you want from a thriller/mystery novel. I have to admit that I stayed up too late reading “just one more chapter” a couple of nights in a row, so not great for my sleep schedule, but very good for my book-lover dopamine levels. 😊 Our FMC here (Claire) lost her sister 20-some years ago when she vanished. She was presumed dead and some evidence was found that led to a man being charged with her murder but her body was never found. This has of course impacted Claire and her parents in terrible ways over the years and Claire’s life as we jump into the story seems to be in a continual downward spiral. Something happens that takes her back to her childhood home to help her mother, and she ends up on a course that leads her to find clues about what may have happened to her sister. I’ll leave the summary at that but suffice it to say that this is a fast-paced story that will keep you guessing until the end.

There were some things that I didn’t love about the way the author conveyed information to the reader. Much of what we learn about the mystery is from an old journal that the FMC found. But instead of having the text of the journal relayed in third-person POV we end up getting a first-person POV from the journal writer. It just felt somewhat awkward because the FMC seemed to be reading from the journal but then all of a sudden the author of the journal is speaking in first-person. So that was something that I felt distracted from the story. The other thing that I felt was weak was the FMC’s mother. Her actions after her oldest daughter’s disappearance didn’t seem consistent with her past experiences.

All in all, this was a very enjoyable read that kept me guessing right up until the end! A solid 4-star read for me.

Thank you to NetGalley for proving an advance copy for my honest review.

This was the second book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was full of twists and turns that kept me reading into the night. Once I started I had to know how it ended. I thought I knew what was going to happen next, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will defiantly be reading more from this author.

I really love this author and her work. I was so excited to get this early! This was a great book I loved the suspense and character build up and really how it all tied together in the end.

Forget Me Not was not a gripping psychological thriller, but it definitely left me guessing until almost the end. The book is like an eerie true crime novel. Overall I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it to others.

Definitely not the ending I saw coming!
Stacy Willingham does it again with Forget Me Not! From the very first page, I was hooked—and the diary entries? Absolutely chilling and addictive. I needed to know what was going on, and just when I thought I had it figured out, the ending completely blindsided me. It's the kind of twist that makes you sit back and say, "Wait...what?!" If you're looking for a psychological thriller that keeps you guessing until the very last page, this is it. Highly recommend!

She does it again! Stacy Willingham continues to capture my full attention with her page turning suspense!

I honestly don't want to recap the synopsis because I feel like you should just go in blind. This story kept me guessing, gave me the creeps and had me staying up past a reasonable bed time.

At this point, I'll read anything Willingham writes.

Thank you St. Martin's Press & NetGalley for access to an eARC of Forget Me Not by Stacy Willingham. I remember first discovering this author with A Flicker in the Dark and knew she would become an author who I would read anything from. Forget Me Not kept me guessing until the very end. There is great character development, and the story is very well paced. The author blended the past storyline with the present storyline without it being confusing and everything came together perfectly for me.

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the eARC of Stacy Willinghams latest thriller. I absolutely loved this book! I’ve had a lot happening in my personal life lately and this is the one thing I’ve been looking forward to most - Do yourself a favour and go in blind like I did, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a little slower to start while we get to know the MC Claire, who will stop at nothing to find out what happened to her sister. Once the story picks up a little, trust me you’ll be hooked!!
