This book kept me hooked from the very beginning! So full of twists and turns that I never saw coming!

Wow did this book suck me in. It will be impossible for you to put it down until you know what happened. Stacy is such a vivid, detailed writer and her words really make you feel immersed in the story. I’m a big fan of the thriller trope of linking past and present through an object. In this book it was done with an old diary and I felt like that element was a big attention grabber that propelled the story along. I did not see any of the twists coming! Not a single one. I really liked how it all came together and the jaw dropping moments along the way. Truly a great thriller!

A huge thank you to NetGalley and St Martin’s Press - Minotaur Books for the privilege of reading the ARC of Forget Me Not! And to Stacy Willingham for writing it.

I love this book! It was a little slow at first, but it quickly picked up. I love the way she creates a setting that sucks you into it. I love its tension and creepiness. This book had my anxiety so high! I did not guess any of the twists or the ending.

She does it again! I wish I was eloquent enough to describe how much I enjoyed this book. This def felt like a slow burn for me and had my anxiety notched high throughout the whole thing. I really enjoyed Claire as a character and loved the twists and turns and there were a few. The ending was exactly what I needed too.

THIS WAS PERFECT. Easiest 5 stars.

I’ve read all of Stacy’s books so far and this was my favorite, even when I thought nothing could top All The Dangerous Things. I devoured this book and ached for more every time I put it down. The mystery was so twisty and satisfying, while also being wrought with emotion. I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of this book and I’m so grateful - I had a blast reading it and fell in love with the characters. The southern setting almost felt like a character in and of itself - I was so immersed in this that I’ve had vivid dreams about the places and people since I began reading this. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait to have a copy on my shelves.

A thriller that grabbed me from page one! A woman (Claire) returns to her childhood home after quitting her job in NY and is at loose ends. Reuniting with her mother who has never gotten over loosing her other daughter (Natalie) to murder, Claire takes a job at a vineyard that her sister had worked in prior to her murder. What happens there is a thriller with twists and turns and an ending that I never saw coming! I spent most of the night reading this and I plan to go back and read this author's previous books.

Absolutely gripping. I could not put this one down. An thriller set in the south, making the setting and the story very memorable.

This is a fast paced story about a woman trying to reconnect with family and in the process- uncovering decades old mysteries. Claire leaves her job in NYC and returns to her hometown in the south. Her sister, Natalie went missing 22 years before, and Claire always had unanswered questions about her disappearance. Claire returns to a farm, where Natalie had once worked, and the mysteries and twists unfurl from there.

Heart wrenching, eerie, The definition of a page turner!

Wow, what a wild ride. While searching for answers about her missing sister from years past, Claire uncovers a whole lot more. Could not put this book down. It kept me guessing the whole time.

Stacy Willingham is a go-to author for me, and the premise of this book had me hooked: Claire, a New York City investigative reporter, quits her job after beeing passed over for a promotion, and returns to her small town in South Carolina to take care of her mother and try to piece together what happened to her sister who went missing 22 years prior.
As always, Stacy Willingham’s characters do not disappoint: their mysterious nature, their secrets, the haunting that controls their lives. The story is written in dual timelines, as Claire tries to unlock her sister’s last few months before she went missing. Be prepared for some cultish vibes.
Overall I really enjoyed this book, even though it got a bit slow in the middle.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Stacy Willingham's best book yet!! And I also loved her others that I've read. This book captured me from the beginning and there were so many twists and turns throughout the book. I love the mix of the dual timelines and the merging of the two throughout the book. The diary brought everything together so exceptionally. There were things I kind of predicted as a possibility but then others I was like "WAIT....WHAT?!". Stacy did not disappoint with this book and had me binge reading it on the edge of my seat. The book had such eerie aspects to it with a haunting theme throughout and it was just spectacular!

Wow, wow, wow! A story that reels you in with a dark tale. Claire returns home to help her mother but also to face the demons that happened twenty-two years ago. She has never come to grips with her sister, Natalie's disappearance and murder. On a whim she ends up at a vineyard that her sister had worked and decides to stay. She comes across a diary written by a girl named Marcia, that's when Pandoras box is opened. Tense, intricate and completely enthralling. The author's attention to detail and leaving no loose threads is fantastic.
Thank to St. Martin's Press and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC for my honest review.

Woooo another banger from Stacy willingham! I love her writing and the southern settings in her books. I feel like this started off a little slow but I was intrigued from the beginning and the ending was something that I didn’t guess!! I was a little creeped out at times too but I scare easily 👀 I could never be as brave as the fmc in this book. She was wild to be staying on the vineyard as long as she did 😂 this was an interesting and fun read!!!

I'm not quite sure how to feel about this one. I usually devour Stacy Willingham from the first page, but this one took me much longer to get into. "Forget Me Not" had a LOT of introduction (a lot that I didn't feel was quite necessary) and didn't pick up until about 22% through.

This story follows the story of Claire as she returns to the old workplace of her missing sister after quitting her job as an NYC journalist. While she works there for the summer to find clarity and answers, she stumbles upon the diary of Marcia, the wife of the owner of the farm/winery. The story goes back and forth between modern day and the 80s when the diary was written. The diary entries were actually my favorite parts, but they were so spread out that it made the story feel a little interrupted and disjointed. This was disappointing as the farm's history was the most interesting and I found myself wanting more!

The ending really picked up and threw a LOT of unseen twists, but they kind of lost their shock factor as "Forget Me Not" left a lot of the story and characters underdeveloped. Claire kind of just walked around, read her diary, and talked to Liam - which, okay fine, but I expected a little more drama from a journalist! Some of the character connections at the end were a little confusing for the same reason. All of this being said, this won't stop me from reading more of Willingham in the future, this one was just a miss for me! Thanks so much for the ARC!

Solid 4 stars. I loved the twists and turns of this book. It definitely felt eerie, and I was actually creeped out a few times while reading (which is hard to get with me). I feel like the beginning just took a little too long to take off for some reason. After I was about 35-40% into the book it was a page turner that actually left my jaw on the floor.

Stacy Willingham is one of my top 3 favorite thriller authors. Every single book of hers has been a 5 star for me and one’s I recommend over and over.

This story involved a cult so I was immediately in love! Her story telling is so wonderful. It was just the right amount of “ooooh scary” but not so much that I couldn’t sleep haha!

I am very grateful to have read this book! This mystery thriller book had me hooked from the prologue! This is well written, easy to read and full of character development! The plot was very clear and I found it to be a thought provoking story! It was dark and creepy! I did find this to be more of a mystery than a thriller. However, the plot twist that came with this left me in complete shock!

Forget Me Not by Stacy Willingham is a book I will never forget! It revolves around a girl named Claire, who returns to her small town home. Claire’s mother is injured and is need of help, this is the reason she leaves her home in New York and goes back to the town she grew up in, which is located in South Carolina. Over twenty years ago, Claire’s sister disappeared. Back then, it was an easy, case closed murder.

In the present time, Claire discovers her sister’s diary and begins reading it. After reading the diary, Claire thinks that her sister might somehow be linked to other murders. As the story unfolds, a lot of twists and turns happen that you don’t expect! Be sure to read the content warnings for this book! This is a book you are going to want to read! I give this a solid 4 out of 5 stars!

Thank you to NetGalley, author Stacy Willingham, and St. Martin's Press | Minotaur Books for this digital advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book is expected to be published on August 26, 2025!
