Pasando esa marca, empezó a mejorar.

Very good thriller that had a southern gothic feel. There were some odd turns of phrase but I liked how the book changed times frequently.

This book was AMAZING! Wow! I loved the that the timeline goes back and forth between the past and present. The characters were well developed and I especially loved the main character. The setting was picked perfectly and it was perfectly paced for a thrilling read!
Thank you to the author and publisher for this copy of the book! I can’t wait for everyone to have their hands on a copy!

3.5 rounded down. I am a huge Stacy Willingham fan so I was super excited to receive “Forget Me Not” as an ARC. I was not immediately sucked in by this one the way I have been by her books in the past. I really found myself struggling to stay engaged throughout the first half of the book to the point where I just wasn’t eager to pick it back up. It wasn’t until about 80% of the way through that the twists started coming but once they started, they didn’t stop! As soon as I thought I had it figured out, everything went sideways. My favorite type of thriller is one where the author gives clues that don’t click until after everything is revealed, and this one definitely delivered on that! If you can stick it out through the first half, this is definitely worth the read.

This was a fun thriller! It had tons of twists and turns that I totally wasn’t expecting. It took me a bit to get through the first 25% which made it feel a little bit slow in the beginning. The second half, I couldn’t put it down. Super fast paced and unpredictable!
This is my second Wilingham book and I’ll definitely read more of her books.
Thanks NetGalley and St Martin’s Press for this ARC!

This was my first time reading a book from this author and I'm so glad I read this one. It was so good from beginning to end. I was hooked by this story from the beginning to the end and read it in one sitting, I could not put it down. Claire's dedication to finding out not only what happened to her sister Natalie but also wanting to help Marcia was commendable, then she also wants to help Liam at the end even though things were rocky there toward the end also. Was not expecting to the little twist at the end with Lily and Mitchell to be honest and that was enterhttps://fable.co/review/e9fd78a5-3ca0-4cfc-81bb-e1852d1f5e27/sharetaining or the twist with Claire's mom. I really enjoyed this book. I highly recommend this one.

Swoon, Swoon, Swoon!!!!!! This book was everything a Reece Witherspoon movie is. A lighthearted and lovely book. I loved it. It's a Love Story by Annabel Monaghan is the perfect rom-com. This is a grab your ice tea and get lost type of book. Dan and Jane were both so likeable. I was rooting for them from the start.

This book has themes from books I've read before: a missing sister, investigation into a missing woman from the past, return to home town after a long time away. It was done well, but wasn't exceptional either. Relatively slow for me until the last 15% or so where it almost went too fast and got maybe a little convoluted. But I was never annoyed or bored, and there were elements that surprised me.

What a gripping tale. From the very beginning of the story I was unable to put it down. After being passed over for a promotion, Claire, decides it’s time to quit her job and work freelance. Her dad calls her and lets her know she needs to come home to help her mom.
She hasn’t been back for almost twenty years. Twenty-two years ago her sister, Natalie, disappeared and was presumed murdered after a bloody shirt was found. Her murdered is sent to prison and that should be the end of the story. Right? Wrong.
Claire starts her quest to find out exactly what happened to Natalie. There are many twists, turns, and edge of your seat moments. Most of which I didn’t see coming.
Thank you NetGalley and St. Marten’s Press for the advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

OOOO this one was creepy. Don't let the slow start fool you because you will one hundred percent be skeeved out about 30 percent in. It's pretty predictable (I predicted the ending about 50 percent in), but still enjoyable none the less. If you like cults, abandoned farm houses, and missing girl type books than you should definitely read this one.
Claire's sister, Natalie, went missing 20 years ago. Police said she was murdered although no body was ever found. Claire wants to get to the bottom of it. As an investigative reporter, she feels responsible to get closure and answers. In an attempt to get closer to her sister, she accepts a job at Galloway Farm (the same farm Claire worked at before she died). Mitchell and Marcia, the farm owners, give her the guest house to live in for the summer. One night, in a desperate attempt to cool the guest house down, she finds a diary from 1983. Marcia's diary. The diary exposes Mitchell as a predator who groomed women to live and obey him. As she continues to read the diary, Marcia also writes about missing girls. The similarties between the missing girls in her diary and Claires sister are uncanny. Claire continues to dig, putting herself in several dangerous situations with Mitchell, but she won't stop until she finds out what happened to her sister and all the missing girls.
Thanks to Minotaur Books for the ARC!

Claire is an investigative journalist whose sister, Natalie was murdered. Later Natalie's boyfriend Jeff was arrested for it but Claire is certain there is more to the story. She goes to Galloway Farm, the winery where Natalie worked and gets a job, meeting Mitchell, his wife Maria, and Liam. But something seems "off" to her and her senses tell her to investigate. But what she discovers goes back years and with the help of Maria's diary and old photos, she realizes she didn't even begin to know the true story!

Claire is visiting her hometown for the first time in many years which is bringing up a lot of memories regarding her sister's disappearance 20 years earlier. Upon finding some pictures showing her sister working at Galloway Farm an hour away from home, she feels pulled to visit and ultimately ends up working there for the summer. Claire finds a journal hidden in the vent of the house she's staying at on property and realizes it's from the wife of the property owner. As she reads through the journal, she realizes the farm might not entirely be what she thought it was, and it may have a connection to her sister deeper than she thought.
While I thought this book was enjoyable, I wouldn't necessarily classify this as a thriller - more like a mystery. Was slow at times and there was nothing really pushing me to read 'just one more chapter'. Also thought the romance aspect of the book was somewhat unnecessary.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for this arc in return for an honest review!
Wow! I love Stacy's way of creating such an eery Southern thriller that always has me on the edge of my seat. This story takes place in South Carolina where the main character Claire has spent the past two decades still haunted over her sister's murder. She is estranged from her parents and is somewhat of on her own since she became an adult. This thriller and mystery takes us on an adventure of Claire unweaving the secrets of the Galloway Farm, where her sister worked.
This book had a great way to grip y0u in and want to keep reading. I loved the diary elements and the way the story unfolded at the end. There's many layers to the story that kept me wanting to find out all the answers.
I recommend this book and Stacy is an author I'll always read!

I am OBSESSED!!! This was a suspenseful, fast-paced thriller that had me hooked from the beginning.I thought this read was unique from anything I’ve read. I loved the southern feel to it as well. This was my first Stacy Willingham book, and I can’t wait to dive into more! Thank you for the ARC:)

I was thrilled to receive an advance copy of Forget Me Not by Stacy Willingham—thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity! I first discovered Stacy’s work through Book of the Month and have read every single one of her novels since. She’s a master of suspense, pulling you in with slow-burning tension and layered storytelling that refuses to let go.
This book was everything I hoped for—gripping, atmospheric, and impossible to put down. I loved every moment and can’t wait to recommend it to fellow thriller lovers.

WHAT I LOVED - Just about everything. Atmospheric, suspenseful, well written. The twist was surprising, and generally, when I haven't already guessed the twist, it ends up being eye-rolling ridiculous. This one was entirely plausible and exciting.
WHAT I LIKED - The multiple timelines. Between the hidden diary, the FMC sisters' disappearance and now, all roughly 20 years apart.
WHAT I DISLIKE - Nothing. Although in any book where a hidden diary is being read, I always wonder how the reader doesn't read the entire thing at once. Yes, to build the suspense for us, but I have no self-control and deprived myself of food and sleep and familial duties to read this as quickly as my eyes would allow.
WOULD I RECOMMEND? Absolutely. I would recommend all of her books to anyone who would listen to me.

First off, thank you to NetGalley, author Stacy Willingham and St Martin’s press for the ARC and opportunity to review this book.
I wouldn’t classify it as a thriller but more of a mystery. It was a little too slow for my liking. I didn’t really feel overly invested in finding out what happened until the last 20%
It was good, just not edge of your seat, need to keep read thrilling.
I’d call it a cozy mystery. Published Aug 26th

I’ve been a fan of all of Stacy Willingham’s novels so far, and Forget Me Not is no exception. It’s a gripping Southern thriller that captivated me from the very first page.
As the main character delves into the past, secrets begin to unravel, and paranoia sets in, creating a tense atmosphere filled with uncertainty. The story features similar disappearances spanning decades, murders, a small but eerie cult, and characters who are not what they seem.
All these elements come together to create a compelling narrative that ties together beautifully by the end. I give it 4.5 stars, rounded up.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was such a good quick paced read! I will admit at the beginning I was a little bored with the plot but as I got farther into the book it all made sense. There was definitely some plot twists I did not see coming and I really enjoyed that everything was wrapped up nice and neat leaving no holes in the story. Thanks so much for the arc!

wow!!!! this was so good!!! it keeps you on your toes the entire time. i would say it is fast paced with an addictive plot with both suspense and mystery that has you trying to figure out what’s going on. the only thing that threw me off was the journal Claire found was in third person and not first which took some getting used to!
