This is he second installment in the Muted series.
This volume volume includes episodes 28-50 of the webtoon.
This volume had a bit slower pacing, but that does not mean it was not fantastic. The pacing is slower but you are getting more info on our favorite witches and our flowery familiar. We also get more world building that really does connect all of our characters and the plot together.
Camille is becoming aware of herself, her powers, and the past that she had long forgotten. Nyra becomes a more central character as well and the dynamic between them is sweet and empowering, and gives you the warm fuzzies and shows how some one can push you to be your best but also bring out the parts of you that you keep locked away.
The more we learn of the past, the more we start to question what really happened to camilles family, and what it may mean for the future.
While Camille is growing, she does not want to grow apart from her cousin. She realizes that she was being held back and stifled from who she is and she does not want that to happen to her cousin, some one she long felt more as a sister. She wants her cousin to feel freedom , love and happiness , just as she deserves.
The ending to this volume made me wish i could grab volume three right away. The cliff hanger will leave you holding your breath.
I really do love this series and cant wait to get the next volume.
Thank you NetGalley and Clarkson Potter/Ten Speed Press | Ten Speed Graphic for the digital ARC for review.

I’m in LOVE with this series!!! I seriously can’t get enough of these characters and their crazy lives! I feel what they feel and all the sadness, confusion, hurt, and hope. I am so thankful to have been approved for this arc for the second book because of how much I truly enjoyed the first as well! This series is for sure going to be many people’s favorite graphic novel! I can’t wait to get my hands on more of this world!

I am obsessed with this series, the more I read it the more I am wanted to know how Camille is going to survive battle between finding out her own truths and id she is going to fall back into old habits.
I am really enjoying the world building and just find seeing all the characters grown in their own ways, I was not ready for the cliff-hanger we have been left with so I am waiting for the 3rd volume as I am desperate to know more.
This was a 4/5 for me as I just felt like something was missing but I have enjoyed the journey so far!
Thank you NetGallery and Miranda Mundt for the ARC read.

This is a compelling continuation of the enchanting graphic novel series, delving deeper into the complexities of magic, family, and self-discovery. Building upon the foundation laid in Volume 1, this installment enriches the narrative with intensified emotional depth and vibrant artistry.
I enjoyed the continuation of the vivid and expressive artwork. The illustrations maintain their bold and vibrant aesthetic, effectively conveying the characters’ emotions and the story’s magical elements.
This volume delves further into the intricacies of magical abilities and familial relationships. Camille’s journey of self-discovery and empowerment is portrayed with nuance, as she navigates new powers and confronts familial expectations.
In addition to that, we are able to delve deeper into some of the characters presented in the first volume. The development of new characters, such as the plant demon Dendro and the charming Nyra, adds depth to the story. Their interactions with Camille contribute to her growth and the unfolding plot.
This volume does explore more intense themes, including familial control and emotional trauma. At the same time, the volume was a bit slower than the last one as we are more focused on some of this character development and backstory.
Overall, this volume successfully builds upon its predecessor, offering a richly illustrated and emotionally resonant continuation of Camille’s story. I will definitely be continuing with the next volume!

This is the second volume of the webtoon. It is fast paced and has me invested to continue. I really like the art.
4 stars

This was such a good continuation of volume 1, I love the magic system and the friends that the main character has as much as it is a great in-depth storyline with stunning artistry, I also adore the underlying message of in a dark time your friends and those you love will be there with you which is amazing. I cannot wait for the next instalment of this series.

Thank you to NetGalley and Clarkson Potter/Ten Speed Press for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
I really enjoyed how this series is going! I loved the growing relationships in this book, there is a lot more growth from the first volume to this volume with character relationships, including romantic, platonic, and familial.
The story and the drawings continue to be great and entertaining, and I’m looking forward to continuing this series where the next one comes out!

This is a fun graphic novel series thus far. It doesn’t fully hold my attention at times but I am enjoying it! Thanks for the ARC NetGalley!

I really enjoy this series! I can't wait to see what happens next! The characters are so interesting. The story is creative and unique. And the art is beautiful! I loved volume 1 but volume 2 is even better. I'm very glad I was able to pick this series!

This was even better than the first volume. It felt much darker and sadder, with fewer funny moments, but the pacing worked better for me now the worldbuilding's been established. It really got my heart racing. I'm enjoying seeing how the relationships between Camille, Nyra and Dendro are developing. Definitely looking forward to continuing with this series.

Just as captivating and visually stunning as the first volume, this graphic novel delves deeper into Camille’s family history and her journey toward self-acceptance, which I absolutely loved. The character development and storytelling kept me engaged throughout.
However, the book left me wanting more, and the ending felt a bit abrupt. I also found the final chapter unnecessary; I would have preferred more closure instead. As someone new to graphic novels, I’m unsure if this is typical for the format, but it stood out to me. Despite these critiques, this is a strong installment in the series, and I’m eagerly anticipating the next volume!

Thank you to NetGalley and Clarkson Potter/Ten Speed Press for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
I loved volume 1 of this graphic novel so I immediately went to request volume 2. I wish I could request volume 3 already because I really love this story.
The art style is beautiful. The colors are vibrant and the characters are so expressive. As we see more and more fantastical elements in the story, I am in awe of the designing choices. Very impressive how much detail was added into this series.
I can't wait to see where the plot will go. I love seeing Camille's growth and getting to know all these different characters. It's such an expansive world we're being slowly introduced to and I feel that the possibilities are endless for where this story will go!
The plot feels as though it's moving a little fast-- which is intriguing and fun! But, I will say I wish I had a little more of the slower moments in here. In vol 1 we get this extra scene at the end that feels like a perfect little sliver of their day-to-day lives. As I really care about these characters, I want to see them happy and enjoying themselves so I was kind of hoping there would be another scene like that at the end. I am not disappointed by the extra scene/chapter we got in this one about Dendro though!
Surprisingly, this series still feels like a comfort read for me despite the faster pace full of drama and darker themes. I want to hide in this book. The characters are just so lovable and the world is so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun world to dive into!
Again, thank you for the ARC!
Review will be posted on IG (@seas.libary) before or on 10/10/2025.

I’m still really loving this fun and drama-filled witchy graphic novel, but the pacing is a bit slow. I’m hoping the next volume will bring more excitement and answers for our confused protagonist.

I received an ARC through NetGalley for an honest review.
I absolutely housed the first volume and then I absolutely gobbled this one up too!
The contuning complicated witchy life of Camille, the second volume of Muted sees her embrace the druidic witchcraft she inherited from her father, including summoning an adorable plant demon familiar, deepens her connection to Nyra, and enjoys the freedom of being away from her aunt. However, this causes more difficulty with her aunt and cousin, and she still has a demon stalking her...
Look, I loved the first volume, and this is more and even better with some interesting exploration of magic and worldbuilding, as well as further fleshing out the characters, their connections and clashes.
I had a lot of fun with AHS Coven, but this is a whole lot more my vibe.
Absolutely love it!

4.75
I need volume three immediately!!
This was definitely darker than volume 1 but it didn't feel without purpose and now I'm worried for everyone! The characters felt so much more complex this time and now I feel so conflicted over certain side characters. We're slowly learning so much more of the world surrounding Cammie and excited what other volumes with show us!

These cliff hangers will be my undoing. SOO good!!! It picks up where the first volume let off. It has a nice mix of answering questions while revealing new ones. The story is very fast paced. I really love the characters and the development were seeing with them. Camille goes through a lot in this book and it was sone really well .
The art is so pretty, it still remains one of my favorite art styles I've seen. It compliments the story very well. The darkness and the emotion of the plot translate so well into this art style and color choices.
Volume 3 cannot come soon enough! I am hooked till the end with this series.

Loving this so series so much. As I shared in my review for Volume 1 - the illustrations are beautiful. I was intrigued to learn more about Camille's background as well as Dendro's and I can't wait for, I'm assuming, Volume 3. These are such quick reads despite the amount of pages as it's a storyline that made me want to keep reading.

A continuation of the sapphic webtoon Muted: Volume 2 follows Camille’s journey as a witch post failed summoning blood ritual, she now lives with Silvia, who is the caretaker of the manor.
Camille is finding her strength and learning about her powers that is summoned by her emotions. With her found family, a demon named Dendro, Nyra, her love interest, Silvia and Toben the bird, she realizes that her cousin Avaline is under the control of her evil Aunt Athalie and wants her cousin to live in the Manor to keep her safe. The journey to save Avaline proves to be difficult due to her Aunt Anthalie’s presence and her controlling Avaline. Camille is also shown how her family really died proving to be very traumatic for her.
Tropes/Triggers: Found family, sapphic love story, childhood trauma, death, murder
I’m really intrigued with Camille’s story and how she will continue after what happened to Nyra. I hope she will find the strength to continue to control her powers while helping Avaline escape from her evil Aunt.
I am looking forward to Muted: Volume 3 hoping that Miranda Mundt will continue this series. Miranda Mundt is a very talented artist/author and conveys her artwork beautifully. I am hooked!
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me this advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review!

I don't know why these books feel so short even though they're average-sized graphic novel volumes. They feel more like issues of a comic in their pacing, which is going to make them even more frustrating to wait for as graphic novel segments.
There's a lot that's added to the story here, but it also feels so fast that I'd rather have a volume twice as large so that I felt less hungry for volume 3. The art continues to be especially gorgeous.
While I really appreciate a woman-centered world, the men are so completely absent in this story, that when they're mentioned, they feel unreal.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review; all opinions are my own. <3
After reading Muted 1 (5/5⭐), I couldn’t wait to start the sequel!
It was nice going back to Camille and her world, we got to see a bit more of her relationship with Nyra and Dendro, and how manipulating her aunt can really be.
The drawing and colours are amazing, and the story itself developed smoothly, although I wish more happened; while in the first volume we’re introduced to this new world and new characters, and so many things happen, I felt like in this second one things happened more slowly.
I rated it 4⭐, and I already can’t wait for the third one!
