Another great one by Carr.
She is probably the most popular female author in my store. Can’t keep her stocked.

I have to give it to Robyn Carr. She knows how to write a small-town romance. In this installment in the Thunder Point series, Grace and Troy try their chance at love with a friends to lovers romance. I wouldn’t necessarily call this a slow burn as I’ve seen others state in their reviews. These two end up in bed rather quickly with a friends-with-benefits arrangement. However, the romantic feelings between the two slowly builds as the story progresses.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Troy in the previous book. He just seemed really immature for his age. He improves a bit in this one through his relationship with Grace. Grace definitely carries this story for me. I liked her in her cameos earlier in the series and loved her in this book. Even though life has thrown her some curve balls she is determined to succeed at the fresh start she has given herself in Thunder Point. I think Carr did a great job of showing the growth of both Grace and Troy as they try to navigate through life’s complications and their relationship.

I love love love the friendships in this book. We get a glimpse of the relationships between many of the side characters. Instead of this distracting from the love story, I think this added to the overall small town feel of the series. Everyone knows everyone and they help each other out. Like I said I love the friendships in this series, especially the female friendships in this book. I’m always up for some female empowerment and uplifting of others in the characters I read. I find it inspiring and it just gives me happy FEELS.

Overall, I really enjoyed One Wish. I think this is my favorite installment in the Thunder Point series that I have read so far. I did dock a star in my rating because I’m not a fan of the accidental pregnancy in my romances. Also, what does it mean to be “a little pregnant”? I mean you are or you’re not. Other than that I loved the book and would recommend you give it a try.

As always I enjoyed this book and really any book this author has written. This book was well written and tied into the other books in the series well.

This was another installment in the Thunder Point Series. This was a good read but there wasn't anything that just really stood out in it for me. The characters had good chemistry and all and the story flowed easily.

Grace, a former figure skating champion that is tired of the media and being in the lime light, has moved to Thunder Point to get a break. Grace owns a local flower shop now and has managed to keep her real identity from most of the people in town. Grace has made a couple of friends in town, Iris and Troy. Troy was once in love with Iris, but realizes that she has to get over it because she is married and has moved on now. Troy is a high school teacher and loves to go on adventures. With Iris out of the picture now for Troy, he is turning his attention to Grace.

Grace and Troy go into their relationship with the understanding that they are just in it for a friends with benefits sort of relationship. What they don't expect is to get as close as they actually do. I love how when Grace was going through problems, Troy stepped up as a friend and not just a lover for her. These two had great chemistry and I love how they came to rely on each other.

This was a good installment in the Thunder Point series. I can't wait to see what is next from this series!

Another fantastic installment in the Thunder Point series. I loved both Grace and Troy, and it was great to see their relationship develop. I loved having the familiar characters appear, and I really enjoyed the setting. Anything Carr writes seems to be a winner for me!
