Thanks to Netgalley for my review copy.

WOW what can I say. I started this book last night around 9.30pm thinking I will just read a few chapters. That was the idea at 2am I had finished the book. I haven't read a book in one sitting for around 13 years. But I could not put this book down. Right from the start I was hooked.

The book starts with the heroine Tracey being transferred in a prison van. She's convicted of a crime she didn't commit. She is ambushed by the ones who framed her and want her dead and flees into the Wyoming Wilderness. Meanwhile the hero Callum is living in an isolated cabin with his 2-and-a-half-year-old son Brody and huge dog Bo. This is where they meet and find they have a common enemy.

They find themselves in a fight for survival trying to outrun the bad guys wanting them dead. Bo is a big dog and Tracey is very unsure and scared of him. I could fully understand how she felt as I have the same fear. Bo is very protective of Brody and his family.

We also have another star of the book in a Bear which Tracey names. The bear features several times and is quite scary but I secretly did feel for him. Bo and Brody also bring some light moments to the book. This book is full of suspense and danger and as mentioned is a page turner. There is also a faith element which fits with the characters.

If you like suspense with danger round every corner with a strong story line I would recommend this book. It's the first book I have read by this author and won't be my last. Although next time I will start earlier in the day.

A very well written, fast paced Love Inspired Suspense.

I was immediately drawn into the characters & it was hard to put the book down. I enjoyed the plot & characters, with many unpredictable twists & turns.

I felt for the characters, was surprised by some twists & ultimately glad for how it turned out.

Being from Wyoming originally was what initially drew me to the book, but I enjoyed it & thought it was well done.

Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for this ARC read. All opinions are my own.

Another fantastic read and from a new to me author.
This is a fast paced story that had many twists and turns that kept me turning the pages quickly.
Wonderful characters with a plot that will make your toes curl and the hair stand up on the back of your neck.
I loved the description of Wyoming and it made me feel like I was there! Wow!
I love Tracy's and Callum show their courage and determination to survive what life threw at them.
Didn't care for the bad guys but then I never do and of course there wouldn't be a story.
I finished it in one evening of course since it is an LIS book. But, a very good one.
5 stars from me for the action/adventure that kept me turning the pages quickly.
I highly recommend. I love love the cover!

A new-to-me author, Jill Nelson, captured my attention from page one. Tracey Graham is on her way to prison - convicted of a crime she didn't commit - when the prison van is ambushed and she is chased through the wilderness by ruthless killers. As she flees, she encounters an ex-cop, Callum Mitchell, who has his own set of secrets. Suddenly he is caught up in the deadly game of cat and mouse and they barely escape with their lives. With his toddler son in tow, can they outwit their pursuers before it's too late? And will Callum come to trust this enigmatic woman? A riveting tale that will keep you up way past bedtime. I look forward to reading more from this talented author!

With numerous harrowing scenes, the book was entertaining to read! Overlying theme of forgiveness was prevalent throughout and a good reminder since there seems to be so much offense taken over the smallest of infractions now days. I enjoyed the storyline and would recommend it!

Such an intriguing book that captures your interest and your breath as you journey along with the characters as they enter survival mode against some bad guys in the wilderness. You will not want to put it down until the mystery is solved and your mind is at ease when all the clues are revealed. Very clean read as always with Love Inspired Suspense books. It is scheduled to be released July 1, 2025.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher. All words are my own.

Immediately, I was hooked on page 1. Tracey is being escorted to prison for a murder she didn't commit. Next thing she knew, the prison transport is stopped, and Tracey is running for her life.

Enter Callum, the rugged mountain man, or so it appears. He rescues Tracey and now they are running for their lives along with Brody, Callum's toddler son.

Fast-paced, page-turning action and suspense. Will they survive in the Wyoming wilderness with killers on their trail?

I could not put down Jill Elizabath Nelson's "Wyoming Wilderness Survival".

Releases July 1st. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Wyoming Wilderness Survival is fast-paced, non-stop action! I absolutely loved this Love Inspired Suspense book. It has strong characters who show intense determination in the most extreme situations. They not only faced danger from their assailants but also from animals in the wild! I admired Tracey and Callum's bravery and reliance on God throughout the book. The care that Tracey showed Callum's young son was so sweet. I loved watching the romance develop between Tracey and Callum as they learned to trust each other. I read this book in just a few hours because I couldn't put it down! I highly recommend it to those of you who love clean, romantic suspense with a strong message of faith.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Wyoming Wilderness Survival is a fast-paced Love Inspired Suspense novel that grabs your heart and throws it through the ups and downs alongside Tracey and Callum. When justice isn’t served, and bad people in high places put them on the run, Tracey and Callum have to work together to survive, while protecting Callum’s young son. I loved that Bo, Callum’s dog, was deeply involved in the adventure, too.
I couldn’t put this story down! A great, clean story with a lot of risk and adventure.

Tracey Graham sat calmly in the uncomfortable bench seat of the Lander WY prison van on her way to a maximum security prison in Idaho. As they sped into the wilderness area outside of Lander the van came to a complete stop and the guard let her out.

Suddenly Ethan and Ezra Fairburn appeared - Tracey an EMT, had treated their father for a heart attack and he had died in the ambulance. Tracey had not been found guilty for that but she had recently been arrested for a murder of a deputy which she was not guilty of.

Ezra grabbed Traceys' upper arm and then a semi barreled into the prison van, and then his brother Ethan started shooting Tracey so she ran into the thick forest of the wilderness.

Then a tall thick man dressed in camouflage appeared and Tracey jumped off a ravine and she law still, but Callum felt for her pulse and she was alive. Tracey yelled "Fairburn", a name that Callum recognized and hated too - as the Fairburns had bullied and harassed his ex wife until she grew depressed and killed herself.

They zigzagged to Callums' cabin but they were being followed ....

"Wyoming Wilderness Survival" is a Christian romantic suspense. Tracey, Callum, and his dog made quite a team! The dog knew how to effectively protect his people. Callum's a sharp-shooter and prepared-for-emergencies type who knew how to survive in the wilderness. Tracey's an EMT with some skill in the forest and with guns. Considering the number of people after them, they had to be competent to survive. Not only were they up against bad guys who wanted them dead at any cost, but the terrain, weather, and wildlife were dangerous and provided many opportunities for suspense.

Callum initially helped Tracey because his wife had been bullied to death by the same brothers. As they spent time together and worked together, he was impressed with her compassion, courage, and the fact that she didn't complain about uncomfortable and painful situations. He respected her abilities and treated her as a partner, even entrusting her with his toddler son's safety. Tracey was grateful that he helped her despite the danger, as he soon became a target, too. They didn't pursue their growing feelings until they were out of constant danger (which I find realistic, so I approve). They spent time getting to know each other for 10 months post-adventure before the sweet proposal scene. This author most have read my list of pet peeves because she got everything right.

Both Tracey and Callum dealt with forgiving people who were unrepentant and cruel. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this enjoyable suspense novel.
