A little cute, a little spicy, a little weirdly obsessive: Juniper + Beau. 100% annoying: Avery. Quick read, dual POV, great narrators.
Thanks to #NetGalley and the publisher for access to this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I was in a book slump after my last and needed something light and fun. This audiobook delivered exactly what I needed!
Let me first start off by thanking Max Monroe, Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for gifting me this ALC!
From the very first sentence I was laughing out loud! This book has so much banter! I couldn’t stop giggling and kicking my feet! C.J. Bloom and Alexander Cendese did such a great job narrating.
The tropes are everything you want in a RomCom!
•Best Friend’s Brother
•Forced Proximity (suddenly neighbors)
•Found Family
•Workplace Romance
•Childhood Crush
**Then they throw in Pride & Prejudice AND Love is Blind references….I’m SOLD♥️
Print is already available for this book and the audiobook is released March 4th. If you want a fun book, guaranteed to make you laugh and blush (there is some spice), go get this! You won’t be sorry!

Juniper has had a crush on her best friend's brother (Beau) since the moment she met his as a preteen. Too bad he thinks of her as a sister.
She just started a job at their family company after graduating college. One of Beau's rivals is trying to sabotage his project. So she uses the new dating app to send him a message anonymously. Soon, they are exchanging messages of a flirty nature. But what will happen when Beau finds out it is her?
I've enjoyed Max Monroe books in the past, but this one missed the mark. You never even get to know Beau (other than he is hot, rich, runs, and is career driven.) Like he narrates part of the book and you still don't know him. He is that bland.
Avery is one of the most unlikeable characters ever. She is a spoiled brat and every interaction with or about her is centered around this. Unlikeable characters need to be interesting so you don't hate them. She is not interesting. Just annoying.
Reviews about "meh" books are the hardest to write. This one's biggest problem- it is forgettable. And it is bad when you have the most feelings towards a secondary character. (Avery, and the feelings aren't good.)
C.J. Bloom and Alexander Cendese narrate the audiobook.
I received an advance audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

This one was a little tough for me. It felt like the authors were forcing a situation in order to write about Birkin bags and phone sex. The story didn’t flow naturally and the pretentiousness of the characters wasn’t as funny/lovable as the authors were hoping.

The title immediately piqued my interest because I'm a swiftie and love the Midnights album. I love the idea behind this story but the execution missed for me. I listened to this as an audiobook and with so much of the chapters being text conversations, it was kind of annoying. I absolutely loved that the audiobook is duet but I felt like the male voice actor talked a little fast and aggressive, which took away from any feeling Beau was trying to communicate. I think if I would have read the physical copy, it would be easier to digest.
I hate to hate on characters because I realize that there are so many different personalities in the world, but Avery killed my mood every single time she came into the conversation. Her lack of work ethic, the way she treats those around her… It didn't sit well with me. I hope she gets her own book with some amazing character growth.
Thank you Dreamscape Media & NetGalley for the ALC.

This is one of my top Max Monroe favorite reads. I love the duet style narration for Meet Me at Midnight. The storyline is one that I really enjoyed. The connection between Juniper and Beau is palpable and the spice between the two is top notch! This is the first audiobook I've listened to by Max Monroe, and I cannot wait to listen to more!

Juniper Perry has had a crush on her best friend's brother forever. They work together at his family's marketing firm. June decides to anonymously message Beau and share her feelings with him. This book was laugh out loud hilarious. June is majorly obsessed with Beau and her descriptions are very funny. One of my main issues is with Beau's sister Avery who is extremely spoiled and everyone acts like this behavior is perfectly normal.and acceptable. Beau and June's romantic relationship is sweet and develops naturally from a secret texting relationship to a secret in person. I enjoyed this vook very much and highly recommend!

The concept of this book and its title reeled me in (anything that remotely sounds like a Taylor Swift title gets immediately put on my tbr)
I think if I would have read this physically, my rating might have been higher, but something about it just didn’t hit with me. I loved how they ‘met’ and the timeline of their relationship. The sneaking around & anonymous chatting on the app was fun.
I just could not get behind the whole conflict. It was best friend’s brother and the FMC was so worried about how her best friend would take the news(the MMC wanted to spill the second they found out). But honestly, the sister was not a good character and kind of a shitty person to everyone around her lol so who is she to be upset about her brother dating her best friend??
This book over all was good, but I personally cannot connect with two main characters that are very wealthy because of their family. Don’t get me wrong, the main characters are good people and they work hard, I just couldn’t connect on the level that I usually prefer to with my main characters.
Like I said I think over all, other people will really enjoy this novel, it just turned out to be not for me
When I stated I would’ve liked it more physically, I was referring to the character that the male narrator put on. It was very bro-y and did not feel good in my ears lol I did like the MMC otherwise. I also really enjoyed the female narrator, she did an excellent job!
Thank you Dreamscape Media & NetGalley for the ALC!

I just finished this audiobook, and "cute" is honestly the perfect word for it. Like, straight up, it was just a feel-good, happy listen. The whole premise was adorable, and I found myself totally sucked into the characters and their whole deal. I was genuinely invested, which is always a win!
C.J. Bloom and Alexander Cendese totally nailed the narration. Duet narration is my jam, and these two absolutely brought the story to life. I was legit laughing out loud so many times. Their performances were just spot on.
This is my second Max Monroe audiobook, and I'm officially a fan. They just have this knack for writing stories that make you smile. If you're looking for something light, fun, and totally charming, definitely give this one a listen! You won't regret it.
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ALC of this audiobook. I voluntarily read and gave an honest review.

This book had all the makings of the perfect romcom and I wanted to love it so badly, but while I loved the premise of the plot and tropes, the characters just missed the mark for me.
My initial thoughts going into this book were, a Taylor Swift inspired title? A love is blind anonymous dating app? Office romance? Best friend's brother? What will inevitably an anonymous chat between said characters? SIGN ME UP!
However, while I liked who Juniper became while she found her confidence through the anonymous chat room, I found her personality to be very "woe is me". I can understand feeling sad for yourself when you don't have a relationship with your parents, but the level of insecurity while just talking to Beau considering she has become a member of their family and spends so much time around him seemed like a bit much. Even if she had a crush on him, you would think that type of proximity would allow for less stumbling over words, particularly when they have a spot where they have had their chats over the years. Additionally, while it is stated repeatedly that Avery has a big heart, there was no evidence of Avery being anything but vapid and unlikeable (I hate calling female characters that, but it's truly how I feel).
While overall I generally liked Beau's character, the male narrator that voiced him in the audiobook made him come across as the dude-bro stereotypical finance-bro frat boy type.
C.J. Bloom did a fantastic job with the narration and truly brought all the female characters to life. Alexander Cendese also delivered a great performance, but I wish he would have made Beau feel less shallow because I don't feel he was written as a shallow character like his sister.
I did love that this was performed in duet narration!
Thank you to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media and Max Monroe for the ALC.

Best friends brother
Secret crush
Forced proximity
Office romance
This was a cute story. It is dual but 1st person, I struggled with this a bit but being in audio format it was easier vs reading.
Narration - CJ Bloom and Alexander Cendese did a really good job. I love their voices.
The story had me giggling out loud which is something I really enjoy with a book. I love a good text message thread within a book it is a favorite thing of mine.
Juniper has a crush on her best friends brother and gets a chance to get to know him better. Beau is clueless and doesn’t know at first who he is talking to. Their relationship grows in a very natural way. Very cute. I smiled a ton will listening. Very enjoyable would definitely recommend!

I read this book on kindle, but wanted to listen to as well because it was a fun read but it was an even funnier listen. C J Bloom nailed the role of June and brought her to life. This story was a twist on the brothers best friend, with a sisters best friend. June has had a crush on her best friend Avery's older brother Bo since she was 15. Now that they have both graduated college and are working for Avery's fathers company where Bo works as well, June and Bo's path start to cross more often. Avery's is the daddy's princess rich spoiled brat, but somehow you don't hate her, how is that possible, and is more interested in partying and never shows up to work on time. Bo is in a competion with his ex best friend to have the best marketing campagain for the new app that is about to launch called Midnight. When June overhears Seth trying to sabbotage Bo's efforts and steals his works, she sends him anon messages over the app that quickly turn flirtly. What can happen with a mystery woman after Midnight?

This was my first Max Monroe book but it definitely will not be the last. I loved this book so much. The banter, the chemistry, the spicy, and the emotion was amazing. I laughed so much during this book. And blushed a little too. Jupiter has been in love with Beau Since she meet him. Her best friends older brother. But it is more that that. Avery ( the best friend and most self absorbed person on the planet) is more that just a best friend. to her. Her family have taken Jupiter into their lives and loved her like on of them. I really enjoyed this and I can’t wait for the next one. The narration was excellent. CJ Bloom is a favorite of mine.

C.J. Bloom & Alexander Cendese did an amazing job! Their voices were perfect for these characters. Their performance was on point and made the story come alive.
Overall Rating: 3.75/5⭐️
Rounding to 4 stars, I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful and quick love story. It had me giggling and smiling, and I couldn’t help but blush as well. The narrators’ portrayal of the characters’ text messages was particularly entertaining 🔥
However, I must deduct a star for Avery. Her character was incredibly insufferable and made it difficult for me to fully immerse myself in the story. She reminded me of Violet from Willy Wonka, and I eagerly hoped the main characters confronting her and forcing her to reflect on her actions. Unfortunately, this never happened.
Another reason for the lower rating is the lack of depth and growth for the main characters.
Despite these minor cons, I would still recommend this book to family and friends. It’s a heartwarming and entertaining read that will leave you smiling and feeling uplifted.
*disclaimer: my darkness and spice rating might not be the same for you. Please do your own research before reading*
I received an advance listeners copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was a laugh out loud, spicy, best friend's brother, dual POV romance that sees two co-workers texting anonymously through a hookup app but the catch is that Junie knows who she's texting and its the guy she's had a crush on since his family unofficially adopted her when her own parents basically abandoned her. Hot, hilarious and full of all the trademarks longtime fans love about author duo Max Monroe. It was also good on audio and I can't wait for the sequel! Many thanks to NetGalley for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review!

Best friend's brother, secret crush and forced proximity is totally my jam. We have Juniper and Avery working at Avery's dad's advertising firm along side Beau who is Avery's brother. Not only do they work together but Beau is also temporarily their next door neighbor.
The story centers on Juniper messaging Beau on their potential client's app to help warn Beau of his office nemesis plans. They continue to chat, Juniper anonymously and it starts getting flirtatious.
The banter is so good and the story so much fun. Avery was a bit vapid and privileged for me but she had a heart of gold.
C.J. Bloom and Alexander Cendese did a great job bringing all the humor to life.
Thank you @dreamscape_media for a copy of the audiobook.

Audiobook Review

Juniper Perry has been crushing on the guy with the easy smile, warm brown eyes, and charismatic charm. He’s all the perfect things. We work together. I’m a lowly intern, and he’s a high-powered executive. And to top it all off, he’s my best friend’s older brother.
“Best friend’s brother to lover” and “workplace romance” are some of the tropes for this book. I haven’t read Max Monroe before, and after reading this book, I will have to look into her catalog. I enjoyed this book and the storyline.
The audiobook is dual narration, and I loved it! I couldn’t stop listening to this book; I just love a good duet narration. Both narrators did a good job telling the story. It was easy to listen to and understand. I listened at 2x speed.
Thank you, Netgellay, and Dreamscape Media for the audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

I couldn't put it down; I finished it in one sitting. I loved how they got together without knowing.
Thank you to NetGalley, to the author, and to Dreamscape Media for this ARC.

First of all this book was everything! I’m a big Max Monroe fan love their writing! But as far as the audio goes freaking spot on! CJ Bloom is my fav female narrator and I feel like she just being everything she reads turns to good! So as far as the audio goes like 10 damn ⭐️ from me!!!
This story tho. So much emotion. I love Juniper and Beau’s relationship. Friends to lovers is always a fav of mine but this one had some hurdles along the way!!! It’s a great read. Highly recommend!

**Review of *Meet Me at Midnight* by Max Monroe - 4⭐️**
*Meet Me at Midnight* by Max Monroe is a delightful, easy-to-read romance that offers just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The story follows Juniper Perry, who’s been harboring a crush on her best friend’s older brother, Beau Banks, since she was thirteen. A decade later, the two find themselves working at the same company, and Beau has also moved in next door to Juniper, adding an extra layer of tension to their dynamic.
The romance kicks off when Juniper, needing to get Beau’s attention about a work-related issue, decides to message him anonymously through an app. The slow-burn buildup, combined with their undeniable chemistry, makes this book both light and engaging.
The dual audiobook narration (male/female) adds depth to the experience, with each character's perspective coming to life through the distinct voices of the narrators. This format really enhances the emotional connection between the listener and the characters.
Overall, *Meet Me at Midnight* is a great palate cleanser romance. It’s light, cute, and filled with likeable characters who make for an enjoyable escape. If you’re looking for a quick read with a happy ending and a bit of spice, this one definitely hits the mark.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for providing the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
