A fabulous twisty-turny read that leads you down blind alley after blind alley. You're convinced you know who is responsible for what but you'll be wrong, so very wrong.
Never underestimate the lengths someone will go to for love.

Sheryl Browne never disappoints with her plot twisting thrillers. In this book, it is readily apparent that no one is trustworthy. Deceit is key in this plot. You will not know who to trust, nor who to like because at times every single character in this book is unlikable.
Maddie's husband, Cole, is a well-respected, revered surgeon. He is gone a lot, but that is the nature of his business. However, Maddie is receiving weird text messages and phone calls questioning if she really knows where her husband is at. The final straw is a text message that states "your husband is planning to kill you". That would be a wicked start to your day. Maddie's resolve in trusting her husband is starting to crumble.
The tension amps up with every turn of the page. It was a thrilling, dark and dangerous ride to find out just exactly what was going on. I thought I knew what to expect, but I was wildly wrong, at least in one aspect. This author likes to fool you, so prepare yourself to be amazed. One final twist left me gasping and wondering where that came from.
If you enjoy a quick paced psychological thriller with characters you will love to hate, you will enjoy this one.
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Maddie thought she had a perfect life, a respected Neurosurgeon husband, and three beautiful children. Life is great until she starts receiving anonymous texts insinuating her husband is having an affair. She shouldn’t trust him, but the most chilling text comes through: “Your husband is planning to kill you…”
This book was an intense read that kept me glued to it, I could not predict what would happen.
As the story unfolded and the secrets and lies were revealed I was shocked as I never expected it at all.
This was written so well that it felt like I was living in the book picturing everything like real life, and I love a book that I can imagine in such detail that I’m there!

A compelling narrative filled with suspense, shocking twists, and emotional depth, making this a gripping read for fans of domestic thrillers.
Maddie appears to have an ideal life with her husband, Cole. He’s loving, devoted, and a wonderful father to their children. But when Maddie receives a chilling anonymous message warning her that Cole is planning to kill her, her world starts to unravel. Is it the work of a malicious prankster, or is her husband hiding a sinister secret? As she delves deeper, Maddie begins to question everything she thought she knew about the man she married.
Browne knows how to hook the reader from the start, weaving together a suspenseful and emotionally charged narrative. The tension steadily builds, keeping the reader turning the pages.
The story unfolds through alternating viewpoints, giving insight into Maddie’s growing paranoia and Cole’s own version of events. This adds layers to the mystery and kept me questioning who to trust.
Just when you think you have it figured out, Browne delivers shocking revelations that shift the entire narrative. These twists are well-executed, ensuring that the story remains unpredictable.
It’s an intense and well-crafted psychological thriller that will keep readers guessing until the very end. Sheryl Browne delivers an unsettling tale of love, betrayal, and paranoia that fans of Gone Girl which was the first psychological thriller that I fell in love with or The Girl on the Train will appreciate. Despite minor pacing issues, the book is an addictive read with a gripping plot and emotionally resonant characters. If you enjoy stories where nothing is as it seems, this one is definitely worth picking up.

Who can you trust? That is the question in My Loving Husband by Sheryl Browne.
This story is about Maddie, a nurse and her husband Cole, a well-renowned surgeon and their three children. From the outside looking in, they are the perfect family. But things aren’t always what they seem. Cole has been working extra-long hours and has become distracted, distant and irritable. As the distance builds between Maddie and Cole, Maddie is frustrated because he has not been spending quality time with the children, and she is beginning to think he may be having an affair.
One night, Maddie gets a message from an unknown number making claims about her husband, causing her suspicions to grow and leading her on a wild ride, complete with threatening messages and phone calls, to get to the bottom of the lies and discover the truth.
This book is a fast-paced thriller packed with secrets, lies, danger and lots of plot twists that will keep you guessing and wondering who to trust.
This was my first book by Sheryl Browne and I look forward to reading more in the future.
Thank you to Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review this book. It definitely did not disappoint!

Wow! It would be awful to have someone sending threatening messages and then to tell your husband whom you love dearly is a cheater. It’s all too much! What a great read. More than enough mystery and suspense to keep you interested.

The twists just kept twisting!! Once I started this one it had me in its clutches and I couldn’t get away. The feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, frustration, heartbreak, devastation… this one had it all. I couldn’t figure out who was responsible for what crime, or what affair was true until the very end. My head is still spinning! Loved it!

Let me pick my jaw up off the floor before I begin. The twists in this book are fantastic and exposed at a good pace. This story is more than just an affair, it's a captivating psychological thriller and mystery all rolled into one. The shared trauma comes full circle in the plot. I felt the ending was a bit abrupt but still shockingly entertaining. I can't wait to read more by Sheryl Browne.

This is a twisty psychological domestic thriller. Maddie is a harried mum, raising her teenaged daughter and young twin sons, while dipping her toe back into work as a pediatric nurse, with part-time hours.
Her handsome, neurosurgeon husband, Cole, is respected by all at his hospital, and is always on call at his hospital. Or is he?
When Maddie starts receiving anonymous messages questioning the honesty of her husband, it begins to plant seeds of doubt in the mind of Maddie and his daughter. Is Cole truly where he says he is? Is he living a double life? And who can Maddie trust? A fast-paced, multi-POV novel.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy - all thoughts are my own.

Sheryl Browne has done it again, she's one of those authors who never let's me down and has me coming back for more , she definitely knows how to write a storyline that will keep you guessing and characters that you either like or don't like , and will make you question everything you thought you knew .

I was completely enthralled in this book. It was fast paced, and really gave me a Freida McFadden feel! That is a compliment for sure, she's my favorite author! While reading, you'll come to points where you're going to THINK you know what's going on...I'm here to let you know, you're WRONG.

Oh holy molly! This book was everything. At first page, it got me there. I couldn't stop reading the book until I finished. I just devoured it. I wanted to know what is going on. The characters were well definided. The writing is good too. While you are reading, you have own teories but everything changes because of the plot twist. I love to experience that haha.

I was hooked! So this actually kept me reading long into the night. It's written from multiple povs and that kind of make it feel like the plot was always moving forward. It's character led and I loved that the characters were all complex individuals and nothing was as it seemed. I read the premise and expected it to be like a dozen other books I'd read but it really did manage to set itsself apart and keep me guessing through. Yeah, some of it was predictable but over all it kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see how it all played out. A really good domestic noir

I can hardly believe this is the 18th book I have read by this author and have said before every book, although based around psychological thriller parameter’s is different in its focus, this time it’s hospital led with all the main characters working in and around the place of work
It is a tale of obsession, unrequited love, trust, revenge, cruelty and many other things that wont say or else will give some of the main story away
It’s a kaleidoscope of mis judgement, bad judgement and well then we as a reader decide on how to judge what else happens
It is written as always character led and without a cliche but using one a real ‘page turner’ I wasn’t bored on any page or with any part of the story and was easy to see how things could and did get way out of control
The loving husband? You decide….

My Loving Husband by Sheryl Browne is a psychological thriller that kept me guessing until the very end. Maddie’s world is upended when she starts receiving disturbing messages about her neurosurgeon husband’s actions and intentions. As he dismisses her concerns, she begins to question everything—who is the man she married, and can she really trust him?
I was hooked from the start. Every time I thought I had it figured out, another twist would take me by surprise. Each turn added depth to the story, weaving in family, friends, and coworkers in unexpected ways.
This was my first book by Sheryl Browne, and I look forward to reading more. A big thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read an advance copy.

“ Can I really trust the man I married?”
⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (3.5/5)
As Maddie starts planning out her day, she realizes that once again her husband, Cole, a surgeon, has slept at work. She loves him, their three children, and the life they’ve built.
Their latest family photo hangs on the kitchen wall and she remembers that day so clearly. Cole screamed at her over nothing, then apologized saying he was stressed at work. Her heart pounded with fear, but plastered a smile on her face for the sake of the children.
Now, her phone buzzes on the glossy white kitchen island, She reads the message from a withheld number, and nothing could have prepared her for what it says. “Your husband is planning to kill you.”
You might think you know what Maddie does next, but you’ll be wrong, because Cole isn’t the most dangerous person in this family….
First off, this was a pretty fast read with short chapters. The story is told in multiple POVs (Maddie, her husband Cole, her daughter Ellie, her friend Kelsey, and her husbands coworker Alex). I always love multiple POVs so I was very pleased. The drama starts very quickly in this book and doesn’t let up. You genuinely don’t know who the “bad” guy is quite yet, but there are clues to point to the person.
The ending was very abrupt. I was expecting atleast another chapter or two but there wasn’t. I would've loved more background as to the logistics of everything, but you get atleast a brief understanding.
Overall, a quick read for me. The story seemed a little all over the place, but I did finish the book, so it did keep me hooked.

"My Loving Husband" by Sheryl Browne is a slow-moving, three-star whodunit! The novel introduces us to a family riddled with troubles. Maddie, the wife and mother, begins receiving mysterious and troubling texts about her husband. Cole, the husband, struggles to navigate his own difficulties while maintaining a facade of normalcy at home. Meanwhile, their daughter, Ellie, faces her own challenges, which only add to the family’s mounting stress.
The prologue had me completely hooked, but as the story progressed, the middle section felt sluggish. Much of it was repetitive, and the plot didn’t move forward quickly enough for my taste. While the short chapters helped somewhat with pacing, they weren’t enough to keep the momentum strong. The story unfolds through multiple points of view, primarily those of Maddie, Cole, and Ellie. Unfortunately, Ellie wasn’t a particularly likable character—she seemed overly involved in her parents’ affairs.
There are twists along the way, though some were fairly predictable. However, they didn’t take away from the overall story. Despite its slower moments, My Loving Husband delivers an intriguing premise, even if it doesn’t always maintain the tension and excitement I had hoped for.
Thanks to Bookouture, Sheryl Browne, and NetGalley for providing me with the opportunity to read this ARC and share my honest review.

This was brilliant. I flew through it, I was so enthralled and it kept me guessing all the way through!
Great character development, too.
Highly recommend.

Secrets, lies, deception, and relationships take center stage in My Loving Husband! Who can you trust? How well do you know those in your life? Who can you trust? Are some of the questions that arise in this book! I thought I knew where Sheryl Browne was going and was enjoying the thrilling ride, and then she shocked me so completely with one twist that I was left reeling!!!!
Maddie and Cole are a married couple with three children. Both are busy with their careers. Maddie is a nurse and Cole is a surgeon who has long and unpredictable hours. Could lack of sleep or something else be causing the distance Maddie is beginning to feel in her marriage. She has noticed a change in Cole and is uncomfortable with the relationship he has with a co-worker. Her minds can't help but wonder if he is having an affair. When Maddie receives a call telling her that ."Your husband is planning to kill you…", she is shocked to the core!
Whew! This book is brimming with drama, secrets, tension, dread, lies, and threats. This book kept me on my toes and turning the pages. There are characters that I liked, ones I questioned their motives, ones I disliked, and some I wasn't sure what to think of them. I enjoyed how my feelings toward some of the changed throughout the course of reading this book. This book had me changing my theory on who could be trusted multiple times while reading. I enjoyed the many twists, turns, and revelations which made this book a thrilling and gripping shock filled ride! This is the 7th book that I have read by Sheryl Browne, and I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

Maddie is a nurse married to Cole, a handsome and well-respected surgeon. They have a good life and happy home with their three children, but then Cole starts working later and later. Maddie receives some anonymous texts, including, “Your husband is trying to kill you”.
A brilliantly written, gripping read.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for an advance reader copy in return for an honest review.
