This was such a beautiful story all the up to the very last sentence.
There’s grief, heartbreak, love, mystery, slowburn. Two beautifully, sweet love stories. You have current time and go back in time. I really enjoyed this story.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the ALC!

I got about 70% into this book before it archived so I have to admit that I didn’t get to see how this book resolved.
I struggled to want to find extra time to listen to this book. I think the hardest part to me was understanding what part of the timeline we were in.

I loved this book. This romance has some twists in it. This is my first book by this author. Hopefully it won't be my last. The character build was excellent and the story was too. The narrator did a great job. 5 stars
Many thanks to Net Galley and Brilliance Publishing for an audio ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC opportunity.
Wow, this book is heartbreaking. I wasnt sure how i would feel at first when i realized the concept but boy, was i proven wrong. Lily and Josh are everything, and honestly so is Adam.
The web that was woven between the three of them was deep, and i truly believe both loved her so much that they were willing to be selfish for her. Even though it wasnt their character at all. Adam was selfish with his lie, and Josh was selfish in his protecting himself for those 7 months.
This was so well written.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I cried all the way through the last chapter. This was such a beautiful and emotional story!!

This book was a surprise hit for me even though I COULD NOT STOP CRYING. The narrator was amazing and the story kept me hooked until the end. I’m not usually a realistic fiction person but I felt like the author really did something special here. I won’t give spoilers but you will probably want to keep some tissues on hand.
Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for providing access to this audiobook for review purposes.

ummm Dani Atkins?? I am a puddle. Seriously, I am unwell. I wish there were ways to describe just how beautiful and heartfelt this book was. I loved absolutely every moment. I cried and cried and cried again. There isn’t much else to say!

4.5 stars for me! This book truly had me feeling so many emotions!! The prologue made me realize that this book was going to pull at my heartstrings the whole way through!! The twists in this book made me wonder if Lily was ever going to find a happy ending!! I loved that even though Claire didn’t like Lily she gave her all the information to be able to make the right decision for her!
Thank you Netgalley for choosing me for an ARC of the audiobook!

Feels like a British mix of The Notebook and P.S. I love You. People who like light angst with their romance will enjoy this title. I didn't find any of the characters particularly likable, but they weren't hateable either. The characters and their development was just meh. But I do think that this book would generally be popular with readers.

🌹SPOILER-FREE ALC Review🌹
Dani Atkins is back with Always You and Me, a heart-wrenching love story about how one moment can change everything. Two timelines, tough decisions, packed with emotions that will leave you thinking long after the last page.
So here’s a little story first...I applied for the audiobook thinking there was no chance I’d actually get it, so I went ahead and grabbed the digital review copy instead. But, surprise surprise, I got approved for the ALC too! Honestly, I’m so glad I did. The narrator, Elizabeth Knowelden completely brought the story to life in a way that was just… spot on. The emotional depth of the characters wasn’t overdone at all... it felt real, raw, and perfectly paced. The best part? I felt every single thing. The tension between the past and present, the grief, the tough choices the main characters had to make... it was all so real and deeply felt. I kept thinking about what I’d do if I were in that situation, but it never felt like a black-and-white choice. It just felt real, messy, and human... the kind of bittersweet Dani Atkins always does best.
Big thanks to the Author, Netgalley and Brilliance Publishing for the ALC! So if you’re in the mood for an audiobook that’s equal parts heartbreaking and beautiful, definitely check it out. It’s the kind of story that lingers with you well after you’re done listening.

Dani Atkins delivers an emotionally sweeping story in Always You and Me, masterfully navigating a dual timeline that feels seamless—even in audio format. Elizabeth Knowelden’s narration elevates the experience, capturing the heartache, hope, and intensity of the story with skill and nuance.
While some readers have called the plot overly dramatic or unrealistic, I found it beautifully cinematic—this story has all the ingredients of an epic Hollywood love story. It’s full of those big, aching moments that make you reach for the tissues while secretly wishing someone would cast it for the screen already.
If you enjoy emotional reads with a touch of fate and what-ifs, Always You and Me is worth the listen. It leans into its drama with confidence and heart, and I was fully here for it.

This book had me hooked from the very beginning and by the end of the prologue I knew it would be an emotional roller coaster. This is a heartbreaking, beautiful story about lost and second chance love.
The story is told in alternating timelines, and has elements of grief, loss, complicated relationships and healing.
I would definitely be reading more by this author in the future.
Thank you to Dani Atkins, Brilliance Audio and Netgalley For the ALC in return of my honest opinion.

Always You And Me by Dani Atkins
A BIG thank you to #NetGalley #BrilliancePublishing and author #Daniatkins for allowing me to listen to the ALC in exchange for my honest review.
About the book: This book tells the story of sort of a “love triangle”. Lily’s best friend is Josh. They have been best friends since they were kids, but they have also loved each as more than friends for a very long time. Both too afraid to tell the other how they feel about each other, and also due to it never being the right time, they don’t end up together.
Lily instead meets Adam, a wonderful man. Lily and Adam are to be married, but the night before her wedding, Josh comes to tell her he can’t be in her life anymore and walks out and Lily hasn’t seen him since.
Lily and Adam are very happily married, until Adam becomes terminally ill. In his final breaths, Adam makes Lily promise him something, “to find Josh, and forgive them both”.
What does that even mean? And tracking down Josh will be hard! Fate fortunately seems to want Lily to find Josh, who now lives in a remote cabin in the middle of the woods.
When Lily arrives, Josh doesn’t exactly act happy to see her, in fact her wants her gone!
Due to a horrible storm, Lily is left stranded at Josh’s cabin. During this time they explore what happened between them all those years ago and what Adam meant in his final words. Will Josh and Lily finally find love with one another?
What I thought: If you want a book that will make you ugly cry, then this is the one for you! 😭 I loved this story so much! It was so heartfelt and beautiful! Loved all the characters! I highly recommend this one and give it 5 stars!
Narrator Elizabeth Knowelden did an amazing job bringing all the characters to life!

Poignant and emotional at the beginning and the ending brought us full circle to that same emotional moment to tie things together. However, there was quite a lot of "filler" in the middle that at times felt like it was put there to prolong the "HEA" moment that the reader so desperately wanted to see play out. Lily was able to have two great loves in her life and you could feel it within her thoughts and how strongly she was torn between two men. I think if an editor had condensed about 50 or so pages of this story, it would have been a famously beautiful romance. With that said, it's an emotion filled story and feels a lot like woman's fiction. Not that there is anything wrong with that but the expectation with that cover and title leans to more of a happy love story. The audiobook narrator is excellent and made the story better because even though she is British, she didn't rush her words where some narrators from the UK can make it harder to understand when the story is sped up. I enjoyed this book if tearing up is something you "enjoy"... LOL

This book has me torn. On one hand, it is a beautiful love second chance love story. On the other hand, it is the story of a husband who has gotten away with lying for 6 years because he was jealous of his wife's childhood crush. The love story between Josh and Lily was a long time coming and I am so glad that they were able.to find their happiness but I feel like everyone forgave Adam's betrayal really easily and that was tough for to get past. Besides that It was an enjoyable quite emotional read.
