This gave me so many great ideas! I’m trying a few of the recipes this week.
I wasn’t expecting such a broad range of bowl meals, there are so many cultures represented in here.
Thank you for the ARC!

This is a gorgeous cookbook full of healthy, beautiful recipes that look delicious. There are photos of about 2/3 of the recipes but no nutritional information. There’s a wide range of dietary needs that could use the recipes including vegan, paleo and gluten free, though they aren’t labeled as such. The photography is stunning and I would happily eat most of these.
I read a temporary digital loan of this book for review.

I AM STARVING NOW. All of these dishes looked amazing and the recipes are formatted in a way that is really easy to follow. I appreciate the little personal tidbits from the author.
Can't wait to try these recipes!
Thank you NetGalley and Cider Mill Press for an ARC of this title!

This book has a few very nice receipes that I would try but it has a lot more basic receipes that I already now how to cook so I would not buy this book. This book would be very good if you are not confident in cooking from scratch and want to cook fresh food.

I was looking to try some healthy recipes and this cookbook definitely contained lots of great recipes. What I loved about this cookbook is that it features a range of recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options. The pictures are colourful and beautifully capture the food. There are lots of vegan and vegetarian recipes of dishes.
Thank you to Cider Mill Press and Netgalley for a digital copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Interesting recipes. Beautiful pictures. Easy to follow instructions. Looking forward to trying the different bowls.

"Bowl" as a collection of recipes was a mixed bag for me. As the image on the front cover suggests, I was expecting a culinary exploration of different interpretations of "the bowl" - something that has a base and toppings. Ayesha Singh seems to approach the subject quite loosely as some of the "bowls" actually meant "dishes that are served in a bowl", such as soup or pasta. I think this could be due to the pressure of coming up with over 100 ideas for recipes.
This ambitious quantity could be also to blame for some recipes to feel very unoriginal with no twist, those that you'll find on any basics food blog. Maybe some home cooks, especially those who only begin to explore the art of cooking, will find these simple recipes useful as having this book will definitely save them time of googling, but this is actually what makes this book not worth buying for me.
There are some interesting recipes that I will definitely try and that were such an inspiration. If the book would focus on less recipes but for more original bowls that allow readers to explore different flavours and textures, this would be a gem on my cookbook shelf. How "Bowls" looks now simply seems like a publisher putting pressure on the author to come up with as much recipes as possible, regardless of them actually making sense and fitting in this context, causing some corners being cut.

Ayesha Singh’s Bowls is a celebration of simple, satisfying meals—each thoughtfully composed in a single bowl. With a focus on balance, flavor, and ease, Singh presents a collection of recipes that are healthy without being restrictive, vibrant without being overwhelming, and, most importantly, entirely approachable.

I love finding new recipes and was instantly drawn to this cook book. There are a lot of good recipes in this book that I look forward to trying. The variety of bowl recipes is good and there is something for most tastes. The pictures were a nice addition, but I wish there were a few more. The formatting wasn’t my favorite, but overall this was a good, clean cookbook with some recipes I am looking forward to trying!

I loved the different recipes in this book! Some very great healthy options and kid friendly for some of them too!! I would have liked to see more pictures and maybe a little more color throughout the book

This is a really great cookbook! It is well written and has quality illustrations. The food is very healthy and seems easy to make! Also, it is a cookbook that can be customized to meet any food or dietary restrictions. I am really excited to make something from this book!

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. The recipes looked really good and easy to make! I cannot wait to try them out! The photos are beautifully done also!

I found lots of recipes to try in this book. I love bowls because they typically contain a lot of healthy nutrients. I loved that the earlier part of the book contained a lot of vegan recipes, but I was annoyed that the "protein" section was all meat and seafood. Plants have protein, especially beans, legumes, and tofu!

I am so excited to make some recipes from this book! There was such a variety of recipes for all sorts of diet, both plant and meat-based. As a vegan and gluten free person, I was thrilled that so many of these recipes suit my diet. There were so many creative options for a number of meals. I am excited to make some of the breakfast options! I also was delighted by the dessert section as well as the appendix section at the end- lots of great things I can add to so many dishes.
Thank you to netgalley for the ARC! Can't wait to cook some of these!

This is a great, practical, everyday meal type of cookbook. Lots of vegan-friendly recipes, but also a lot of recipes with meat--something for everyone! I do with there was a photograph of every recipe, but that's not a huge deal. Thanks to the publisher and Net Galley for the ARC!

Looking forward to trying out these recipes! I already tried the crunch chickpeas as a quick snack, and I loved them. This is exactly the bok I was looking for; quick, delicious, and healthy meals that I can pack up and bring to work.

I love bowl meals and this book is chock full of delicious recipes. There are a wide variety of recipes but lean towards Indian cuisine. Full color photos included. Good book.

This was a great and unique cook book!! I saved many recipes for later and I can’t wait to make them. There were so many options spanning different cultures, there is sure to be something for everyone.

I received an ARC of this cookbook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is a wonderful cookbook. The recipes are varied and interesting but still feature ingredients that are easy to find!

Thank you NetGalley, Cider Mill Press and Ayesha Singh for the ARC and the opportunity to review this book.
I’m Asian, so I’ve really enjoyed exploring new recipes from this book. There are plenty of good ones and I love that there are photographs of the dishes included. My favourite recipes so far are the no-bake lime cheesecakes and the easy mango ice cream recipes. They're tasty desserts!
Will be recommending this book to friends and family for the recipes are great!
