I love Claire. She's a hard working, woman who knows her mind and wont take nonsense from anyone, but will take an opertunity when it's presented. Coupling her with someone like Cyrus is a stroke of genius and gives the novel a great flaire. What starts with a theft and a lost shoe and ends with then thumbing their noses at society- this novel is a great read with a lot of great plot moments. There are some fantastic secoondary characters as well.

Book 1 in this series played with Beauty and the Beast and this one winks a bit at Cinderella. But unlike other novels which marely retell the story, this novel lets the story go it's own way. It's still quite unique.
