I love Olivia Rodrigo, and I think this was a brilliant book for young readers who may or may not know who she is personally and just know her music, It was nice and short, and the graphics were super cute. I think some of the sentences were a bit too short even for younger readers, but the prompts and other activities were very engaging and a nice addition.

Thank you so much to the author, illustrator, and NetGalley for this ARC.

Short, fun, and informative read for young female music fans! The graphics were great and very visually appealing.

Thank you to the author, Callisto Pub, and NetGalley for the digital copy!

3.2 "that was a lot of fun" stars !!

Thank you to Netgalley, the author and illustrator and Calisto Publishing for an ecopy. This will be released August 2025. I am providing an honest review.

I was surprised when I checked my Spotify and saw that I have liked 27 of Olivia's songs...27....I mean she does pop up several times a week but I guess I am a bigger fan than I thought...who would have thought...the boyfriend shakes his head sadly....a bit of a relief from all that Britney (is what he is thinking) lol !

Anyhow...

This is a nice little chapter book for star loving kids from the ages of 7 to 10 on the life and success of Olivia. There are questions and quizzes peppered throughout and I am sure will be inspirational to some of the little ones. The prose was an average good 2.8 and the illustrations were a more dazzling 3.6 and in all it was was a good to very good reading experience.

Prior to writing this review I just had to make a playlist of Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Harry Styles and Troye Sivan....I am going to have some young pop puppy fun as I work in the garden today !

such a cute, empowering, and informative book for young girls who love OR. the key words bolded, the fun timelines, and beautiful graphics was such an easy follow, I know any young girl will feel connected to OR's roots, and story. I loved how the story really focused on her upbringing and how she can from a "normal" family yet they supported and encouraged her. the colors, and glossary in the back is so engaging I can see how many parents will feel encouraged to buy their daughters copy!
