The Rise of Nicholas the Noble will draw you into an exciting world filled with hope and enchantment. The plot is mixed with humor, seriousness and a whole lot of heart! The characters will captivate you with each of their unique backstories. The Rise of Nicholas the Noble is a great read for tweens to adults.

I recently reviewed the book, “ The rise of Nicholas the noble”.

Overall, I thought it was a really good story about friendships, overcoming obstacles, and liked how the book introduced the elf pets and babies that are sold during the holidays. My favorite parts of the book included the parts about the friendship between Nicholas and two people on the book : Barry and Kendor. The “ hug” part was pretty fun and we really liked how the author described the purpose of a hug.

As a an elf on the shelf family, we enjoy watching the movies, reading the books, and collecting elves, elf pets, and their accessories. This book will make a great addition to the current elf on the shelf and we hood that it turns into another movie on Netflix that we can watch together during the upcoming holiday season.

I was excited to dive into this middle-grade installment of the Elf on the Shelf Santaverse, and it did not disappoint! My eight-year-old daughter is at the perfect age to explore deeper lore surrounding Santa, and I was relieved to find that the book avoids sensitive topics such as questioning Santa’s existence.

The story is engaging and easy to follow, with a cast of lovable characters. It offers an enchanting origin story for the Elf on the Shelf tradition, as well as for Barry the dog. While the narrative does include some scenes of battle between “good” and “bad” characters involving weapons—which may not be suitable for more sensitive younger readers—it remains uplifting and magical at its core.

One of the most touching elements is watching Nicholas learn to believe in himself and let go of his negative emotions, adding a layer of emotional depth to the adventure.

Overall, this book is a delightful addition to our holiday collection. I can easily see it becoming a treasured part of our annual Christmas traditions.

The book cover artwork is an eye catcher. The title draws your attention to the book and entices you to read the book or even the summary. If you are fan of 'Elf on the Shelf', read the books, "adopted" elves, elf pets, etc. then PLEASE add this book. Me, personally LOVE books that draw you in where you CAN NOT put it down until you have read the final word. And this novel does JUST THAT. It expands on the books like the stories of the Elf Pets we have all read, the back story of what Scout Elves are and it does this PLUS explains the connection between Santa Claus and Our Old Friends along with NEW Friends, yes, there are new characters in the book. It also reminds you of the things like Love, Care, Hope, etc. that Chanda A. Bell uses as a theme in her books to help define the Spirit of Christmas that should live in us all year round.

This is a book that is for Older Children, Teens and Adults primarily to read on their own. I say this because PARENTS will have to decide for themselves IF this is suitable for Younger Children since it mentions war and the things that typically happen in battles. All I can say is that I can ONLY speak for myself and my family and I am getting this novel for MYSELF and my family and I personally have a Tween and TWO kids at heart adults in my family.

However, if you and your loved ones love Nonfiction, Adventure, Novels then this IS the book for you. Chanda A. Bell continues to surprise us with each new book or in this case, novel, and DOES NOT disappoint.

PLEASE place your Pre Order for this book becasuse YOU WON'T be disappointed.

This was an interesting book. My daughter and I both enjoyed reading this book. I wish it would have explained more about the Elf on The Shelf as that was what we thought it was about. However, we did love the story of the Noble Nick and his dog. We did not see the conflict that Nick had to endure in order to become Noble Nick.

We might be too young of an audience for this book, but Elf on the Shelf Santaverse: the Rise of Nicholas the Noble was a struggle for my pre-schooler to get into. The story is quite long (and without pictures) for Santa-aged kids, but I think a more appropriate age is 6-7.
