A good listen that kept me hooked. Meghan had an accident that left her with a brain injury and is suspicious that her husband Cole is having an affair. Told in different viewpoints is Meghan imagining things? The narrators did a good job with the voices. Thanks to Red Raving publishing and Netgalley for this review ARC.

This was an engaging story I enjoyed the short chapters and multiple POV. However, I was unimpressed by the lack of twists and turns. Overall it was fairly predictable and not quite exciting or shocking enough for me.

This audiobook was definitely something that made me intrigued to listen to from reading the description and there were parts I was like eh but it was still interesting! At one point everyone was suspicious to me lol and I loveddddd the narration and different voices throughout. Thank you NetGallery for this ARC!

The webs you weave gave me Freida McFadden vibes. It was well written and the short chapters made it an easy read. The narration of the book was great. I don’t think they needed the flash backs to when Meghan was a kid or having her mother involved in the book at all it wasn’t super relevant to the story and using the same voice as her child Hazel made it confusing for the listener. Overall the book was great and it kept me guessing to figure out who was telling the truth. Definitely a must read.
The book starts Meghan who was in a major accident and ends up with a brain injury. The last year has been difficult for her family with her recovery. Meghan thinks her husband Cole is a lying cheat and Cole is worried about her brain playing tricks on her and is worried to leave her because she might kill him. They stay together for the love of their daughter Hazel who gets put in the middle of their relationship issues and continues to be worried about her mother’s health issues. Meghan starts tailing Cole because she wants to know if it’s her brain or the truth as Hazel starts spending more time at her best friend Alex’s house away from her parents issues.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

If you like Freida McFadden you'll want to check out "The Webs You Weave".
This book was twisty and unpredictable the entire time!
I really enjoy the short chapters, makes it very hard to stop listening! I also very much enjoyed that each character had their own voice! It gave the characters each their own authentic self.
Thank you NetGalley and Red Raven Publishing for the opportunity to give this book a listen!

This audiobook hooked me right from the beginning and I didn’t know which characters to trust! Loved the narrators! It really is a psychological trip and done so well! Definitely recommend giving this book a try!
Thank you so much for the review copy!

This is my first book by Shade Owen, and this will not be my last.
Meagan is dealing with the aftermath of an accident. Her daughter is emotionally distant, and she thinks her husband is lying to her (can’t spoil how).
This book was not what I expected. There were times when I was questioning the direction of the story. Is Meagan seeing things? Is she the person that’s making these things happen? I honestly felt bad for Cole (husband) at the beginning, that changed the more I listened to the book. Damn are there curveballs in this story that I didn’t see coming. This is what made it so good. I enjoyed the multiple POVs.
If you like books that have suspense and have you questioning everything, this is definitely a must read/listen for you. It will keep you on your toes. Also, we all need a best friend like Chelsea.
Thank you to NetGalley for the Audiobook

Thank you to NetGalley and Red Raven Publishing for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review. Cole and Meghan are just hanging by a thread to keep their family together for the sake of their daughter Hazel. Meghan has suffered from a brain injury in an accident and with Cole's past of several affairs with his office assistants, this makes for a psychological thriller that will keep you reading into the late night hours. Cole blames the brain injury for Meghan's paranoia about his affairs but little does he know Meghan has secrets of her own and these secrets prove that she is not paranoid at all. I really liked this book and I definitely look forward to reading more by this author......Enjoy!!!

I loved this book. The majority of the story the reader is guessing who I telling the truth. And is there a part of the truth we, as the reader, is missing. Highly recommend to any fan of domestic thrillers.

I received this as an audiobook. The story is told from multiple points of view and I did have to up the reading speed a few times for one of the characters. Overall I enjoyed the story and the narration wasn’t bad. The story is about Meghan, Cole, their daughter, Hazel, and the drama they’re all dealing with. There were plenty of twists and while I did predict a couple of them, I still really enjoyed this audiobook,

I enjoyed the dual narration and multiple points of view of this audiobook. The web, in this narrative, has been woven by both Meghan and Cole; their daughter, Hazel, is trapped in the middle of this pair's deceitful existence. There were a few unexpected twists, but I found the end rather uninspiring. If it weren't for Meghan's sweet disposition toward Ziggy, the family dog, I'm not sure I would have found anything to like about her. I think the entire family needs therapy! This is, however, an entertaining and suspenseful listen.

**UPDATE** I listened to the audiobook and still love this book! The dual narration by Kaden Catalina and Jay Parker made it feel like I was reading it for the first time. I definitely recommend listening to this one if you can!
I love Shade Owens’ thriller novels, so I was excited to read this one. It definitely didn’t disappoint. This domestic thriller is full of suspense and delivered through short chapters, which I really appreciate. There are various POVs to keep things interesting and nonstop twists and turns that are unpredictable. Entangled in a serious game of cat and mouse, I wasn’t sure who had the advantage over who. I was entangled in the pages right along with these characters. Working hard to determine what was true and what wasn’t had me up late at night in a trance. I just had to know what was going to happen in the end. The drama in these pages was at an all time high! Another great piece of work by Shade Owens! Her suspense/thriller novels are definitely auto reads for me now.
Thank you NetGalley, Booksprout, and Red Raven Publishing for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

*The Webs You Weave* by Shade Owens is a gripping psychological thriller that delves into the complexities of trust, betrayal, and survival. The story follows Meghan, a woman trapped in a toxic marriage, and Cole, her husband, whose secrets unravel their fragile relationship. Owens masterfully crafts a narrative filled with tension, unexpected twists, and emotional depth. As the characters navigate their dark and tangled web of lies, readers are drawn into a world of suspense and intrigue. With vivid prose and compelling character dynamics, this novel is a captivating exploration of human vulnerability and the lengths one will go to protect their truth.

This was fast pace and had great narrators. There was a few twists and u count stop listening it. I finished in two day!

The story was predictable and annoying. I finished listening to the book, assuming the ending was going to be something unpredictable. But nope. Also, the dialogue was beyond bad and unreal.

The cover is spot on for this one but not the title. I found the storyline predictable and unbelievable and a little all over the place at times in terms of I felt I had missed a bit. The characters were downright awful with Megan being top of the list. I just couldn’t stand her. The narrator did a good job and held my attention. It did all come together in the end but I had already seen it coming. It was only ok.
2.5/5 🌟🌟/🌟
Thanks to Netgalley and Red Raven Publishing for the opportunity to listen and review #TheWebsYouWeave

I absolutely loved this book. The multiple POVs made the book really compelling and the premises was really good. It’s more original than a lot of thrillers I have read recently. Owen’s keeps you guessing until the very end.
Big thanks to NetGalley and Red Raven Publiahing for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

3.75/5 Audiobook of The Webs You Weave by Shade Owens
The female Narrator did a good job going from the different POV, especially for Hazel the teenage daughter.
The story centers on Meghan, who’s recovering from a life-changing brain injury, and Cole, her husband who’s working hard to provide for Meghan and their daughter, Hazel. But here's the twist—Cole has a pattern of infidelity, and Meghan is starting to notice some troubling signs that make her suspicious.
Absolutely mind-blowing plot! The dual narration, with alternating first-person perspectives, added so much depth and gave the story an extra oomph that made it feel even more immersive.
Cole’s Narrator was a little slow paced for me at times but over all they did keep my attention. I usually enjoy reading along with my audiobooks so this was a nice treat.

I received a free copy of the audiobook, The Webs You Weave by Shade Owens, from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This story a gripping psychological thriller that had me hooked from start to finish! Meghan’s descent into madness was nothing short of mesmerizing—her twisted mind unraveled in ways that were both shocking and fascinating. Just when I thought I had a handle on where the story was headed, Owens threw in another unexpected turn that left me reeling. The tension builds masterfully, keeping you on edge as Meghan’s web of manipulation grows tighter and darker. If you’re looking for a thriller that keeps you guessing until the very last page, this one delivers in every way. Highly recommend!

Book recommendation for all my Frieda Fans! If you need a new book to read this is it! Cheating husband, psycho exes all come spiraling down to reveal more and more secrets that all have been woven together. Highly recommend
