Lying in Wait by Michel Bussi was a good story and had a tight suspense that kept me turning the pages.
An intriguing read that had me hooked.

Thank You NetGalley and Amazon Crossing for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!

Excellent suspense!😧

A real nail biter, with loads of action, mystery and some fantastic twists. I did not want to stop reading. The structure of the story worked like a charm at uniting the current action with the historical genesis of the drama. Before I'd read half I was already out looking for more of the author's work.

Thanks to Amazon Crossing and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

I went into this novel only knowing the title and the authors name and I’m glad I did as I was shocked right from the start. Michel Bussi had a unique idea and wrote an intricate story with twists all the way through. The characters were developed well and they had unique personalities. The story was pieced together from past to present and from the POV of different characters. I loved it from start to finish.

This is the second book I’ve read by this author and both times he has created an unforgettable story from an unusual and unique premise. As soon as I saw the author’s name on NetGalley I pressed the request button without hesitation. I look forward to reading every single book by this author.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC

This is a really odd book that I had a hard time getting into as it vacillates between characters--especially the three men. It begins with Captain Katel Marelle as she's investigating a death but discovers 3 drivers licenses with different names but the same face on them! Then we meet the three wives who, of course, know nothing of the others. There are puzzles to solve as Katel must unravel the mystery of who this man is and what his motivation could possibly be.
