I requested this from NetGalley as I am always keen to discover foreign writers, and this one is apparently very popular in Germany. I really can’t see why. The plot is so banal and predictable and the characters too shallow and ridiculous to be credible, so that I simply had to give up with it. But I see that many readers have loved it, so good for Emily Bold. I’m obviously not one of her target readership.
