Thank you to Harlequin Trade Publishing and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review. Below is a copy of the review I left on Goodreads.
I had never read a book by Amy Daws before, and I went into it not knowing what to expect. Now, I can’t wait to read about the other Fletcher brothers. This book made me giggle and even had me in tears at one point. Dakota’s insecurities were very relatable, and I love a good enemies-to-lovers story. Calder is the Cat Daddy with top banter, Dakota is the strong-willed firecracker, and together their passion is explosive. We get to watch both people grow as individuals and as a couple. I would definitely recommend this book to fans of Meghan Quinn!

Happy Release Day!!! 🥳
Seven Year Itch by @amydawsauthor is a hilarious and sexy romance where the enemies truly have benefits with each other! Ultimately they fall in love. 🩷
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Every time I read Amy’s books, it makes me feel hot and swoony inside. Seven Year Itch is no exception!!!
I love Calder and Dakota’s dynamic/banter so much, and their chemistry was off the charts! Calder’s dedication to Dakota’s pleasure was sweet and sexy. Dakota’s unrelenting strength to find her confidence after a divorce was inspirational and empowering as well. Their scenes together were HOT, so much so that I found myself fanning myself! Both Calder and Dakota’s found families were so supportive and meddling, which made me laugh so many times. Their story ultimately reached a satisfying climax (pun intended) and left me wanting more! Oh, did I mention the best part?!?! CALDER IS A CAT DADDY!!! And Marshmallow is the sweetest cat ever.
Overall, Seven Year Itch is one of the my favorite rom-coms this year and will make you smile/laugh/smitten with all the colorful characters and the most loveable sidecat. 😍🐈⬛🤍

After getting a glimpse of Calder and Dakota in the first book, I knew this novel would be a fun ride. Thankfully, it did not disappoint! There was just as much bickering and banter as I anticipated and it was a fantastic enemies-to-lovers story. I enjoyed the journey these two took in realizing that their potential was so much more than they gave themselves credit for. It was nice to see them push the other person to self discovery just as they were discovering each other in a real way. They both appeared to be overly confident people, but they still struggled with that in private ways, so I liked that they filled each other’s confidence cup whenever they lacked it. This was a thoroughly enjoyable read and I am really looking forward to Luke’s book to close out the series.

Calder is the best cat daddy ever. I mean, he takes Milkshake for walk in a baby carrier strapped to his chest, which Trista got for him. Also, I love knowing that Trista wears little baby Stevie in her baby carrier while working in the barn and with the animals. I have to say that the banter and tension between Dakota and Calder was everything. I love that Calder, Luke, and Wyatt continue their tradition of each having an uncle-Ethan day like what they used to do with Everly. Also, I love that Everly still chats constantly with her uncles even though she away in Ireland for school. Of course, I love that Everly is still playing matchmaker with her family and outwardly told Calder that she is the reason her dad and Cozy and Wyatt and Trista are together and that Calder and Luke were next. I’m starting to think Everly is going to open a matchmaker business once she’s graduated from college. Dakota and Calder definitely helped each other discover/rediscover parts of themselves that weren’t always there, like Calder helped Dakota finds herself again after her divorce and Dakota helped Calder speak up for himself plus finally realize he only ever wanted a relationship with her. I love this universe and I love that we got a Kate and Miles cameo, which I was not expecting. Another thing, the smut was so beautiful and so spicy. I feel like Calder has grown so much since we first meet him in Last on the List. Also, it’s still crazy seeing Everly all grown up. I seriously love this big family and book universe, they all seem like great people to hang with. I cannot wait to see Everly’s matchmaking skills on Luke in Honeymoon Phase.

Whenever I open a book from Amy I know I will absolutely love every page of it and she did not disappoint with Seven Year Itch!!! Calder and Dakota were sizzling together. There was so much in the book, it had everything. It was funny, charming, witty, and sooooo much steam. Not only did I get to read this fantastic book, but I also got to listen to the duet narration with Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon and those two are wonderful. They brough such life to Calder and Dakota! It really emersed me into the Seven Year Itch even more. I can not wait for the next one!!!

Huge thank you to Berkley Romance and NetGalley for the ARC!! I’ve been hooked on Amy Daws ever since Nine Month Contract, so I couldn’t wait to jump into Calder’s story.
Calder is your classic mountain man bachelor and he's sooo grumpy. Amy writes the best grumpy MMCs. Dakota is going through a tough divorce and figuring out who she is again. Their chemistry is sooo good and instant. I loved how open they were in their communication. Forced proximity happens as well.
Dakota’s growth was super authentic! Calder slowly shows his soft side and it was everything. Love a cat dad MMC!
The spice was SPICY!!! 4/5 on spice. I love the grumpy brothers in this series, cannot wait for the next book!

Laugh out loud funny, steamy, and full of surprises! It was another great read by this author. I loved reading more about those crazy brothers and their significant others. I enjoyed learning more about what the other couples have been up to. Super spicy and loved the enemy to lovers vibe that Calder and Dakota gave to the reader!!

Fletcher Mountain is the place to be!! Everly's matchmaking skills know no bounds and I love it! Calder and Dakota were a match made in heaven and definitely needed a push to see it!
And throw in a sex club!!!! BOOM! INSTANT HEAT! Such an amazing story. Heartwarming, funny, and sexy sexy!! *wags eyebrows* Amy Daws has such a talent to make me fall head over heals for all of her characters!

Seven Year Itch, book two in the Mountain Man Matchmaker series is a fantastic enemies to lovers romance written with side splitting humor, fun moments and a serious touch of steam!
I easy fell for Calder Fletcher the big, gruff mountain man who is really a cat loving softy with a big vulnerable heart. Dakota is one independent, tough cookie with a soft side and is just wrapping up a divorce and definitely not looking for a relationship. These two have history and the animosity and dislike for one another that has festered over seven years seems to have taken an unexpected turn when they are forced to spend time together. Their journey is definitely one you don’t want to miss.
I also had added benefit of listening the audio version of this story and the narrators did an amazing job that absolutely added to my enjoyment of this book!

This book is everything I’ve come to adore from her—witty banter, sizzling chemistry, and heartfelt emotion that sneaks up and smacks you right in the feels. The characters are beautifully flawed and relatable, and their journey had me laughing, swooning, and even tearing up at times. Amy’s storytelling is top tier, and Seven Year Itch just might be her best yet. Can’t recommend it enough! 💕📚

I absolutely loved this book. It was so much fun and made me a little bit emotional. Amy knows how to bring spice at just the right moments to make the spice and emotion hit HARD. Calder was so different from the first two Fletcher brothers' stories and the differences in the brothers has made this family so much fun to read and follow, and this series is quickly becoming one of my favorites from Amy-which says a lot considering my son is named Miles after Miles from Wait with Me. (Don't tell my husband that's why I liked the name Miles though.)

Dakota is recently divorced so she decides she wants to take back some of her control by going to a kink club. That is where Calder finds her. Fast forward a little bit and they end up in Mexico on a week long vacation/destination wedding together. This is where the meddling family comes in. Dakota and Calder end up sharing a room together. The whole "What happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico" does not in fact happen. One time was not enough for these two.
Low angst and a easy read. With that being said I do think the book could have been a shorter. It felt like the first 50% of the book was a little slow for me. Even with that I did enough the book.
Tropes:
- Enemies with Benefits
- Cat Daddy
- Small Town
- One Bed
- Romcom
- Meddling Family
Thank you Amy Daws, NetGalley, and Harlequin for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

know going into an Amy Daws book, I'm going to enjoy it. I was not disappointed, I freaking LOVED it!!
From the very first chapter, I was hooked on Calder and Dakota’s story. What's not to love about? Seven Year Itch, an enemies with benefits, turned enemies to lovers, turned forever love, is packed with witty banter, lots of laughs, and steamy sexy times. but it's not just that. It's a story of two people who need to work through past trauma to learn that they are enough. Gah! This book is perfection!

The wait for another Fletcher Brother book was worth it! If you’re a lover of enemies to lovers, look no further!
Calder and Dakota’s enemies, to enemies-with-benefits, to lovers was the perfect journey for these two. It was the perfect amount of angst, spice, banter, and a couple who was able to find healing and a happily ever after with each other.
I love the Fletcher family so much and how they take in those who fall in love with the brothers as their own. I’m a sucker for family shenanigans in books and I loved watching everything play out!
Grateful for a complimentary ALC to honestly review.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for an ARC of this. I was so excited to receive this, especially after reading the first one! I really enjoyed the first one and was looking forward to reading books about the rest of the brothers on the mountain and this one did not disappoint. While book one is still my favorite book two is also really good. I love a good enemies to lovers romance and Calder and Dakota fit the profile!! I also love how they knew each other prior but then they kind of met at this club and were surprised to see each other and things just kick off from there. I love the matchmaking and meddling from the family. You do get introduced to that in the first book and it just continues and I’m looking forward to seeing the matchmaking and meddling for our last brother on the mountain as well. I also enjoyed the force proximity aspect of this because Dakota and Calder have to share a room for this destination wedding and that kind of forces things into play and for them to start getting closer to each other. Obviously, it starts out as mostly attraction and lust worthy and then transforms into something more. Definitely looking forward to the next book!!

You know what they say, there’s a fine line between love and hate! Seven Year Itch was the second book in Amy’s Mountain Men Matchmaker series. It can be read as a stand-alone but it does have spoilers! It was full of laughs, lots of hate, and all the heart!
Calder just wanted to bring a random girl to his brother’s tropical getaway wedding. But someone in the family recked havoc on his dating profile which forced him to go alone. If that wasn’t bad enough, once he arrived he found out he would have to share a room with his arch nemesis…Dakota. They have hated each other for years but would that change while being in such close quarters?
Cat daddy!!! Oh how I loved Milkshake!! Seriously, this series has been amazing. So much body and relationship positivity! I loved how Dakota was such a strong person who went after what she wanted even if it was hard. She may have had some second thoughts, but who doesn’t!! And Calder, what a sweetheart! Such a people pleaser without even realizing it! These two had such a fun relationship. I loved all the banter but felt the hurt when they went too far. So glad that they had a little help with the family matchmaker! Can’t wait to see these boys again!!

Book 2 in the Mountain Men series, I love these brothers!!
This was a fun highly entertaining read! I ate this right up in a day. It had the perfect amount of banter, cheesy humor, and character development!
You don’t need to read book 1 to have a good time reading this one, but I would still recommend because that one was just as good as this one!
Calder Fletcher just wants to have fun and have no serious connections with women, unless it’s his cat, Milkshake. However, he soon finds himself trapped with only one bed at a resort in Mexico with his enemy, his brother’s wife’s best friend, Dakota. Trying to not make a big scene for his brother’s destination wedding, Calder sucks it up and bunks with Dakota. Things turn steamy and after they return home, Dakota asks Calder to continue their time together to help with her confidence post recent divorce.
My favorite things in this book:
Cat daddy + tattooed mountain man MMC
Midsize curvy + fiery FMC
She says, “Crawl to me”
Enemies with benefits!!
Mid-30s FMC, early 40s MMC
If you like Meghan Quinn, you will love Amy Daws!

This is the perfect mix of funny, sweet, deep, and sexy. Amy Daws never fails to make me laugh out loud!
If you are looking for:
- enemies to lovers
- small town vibes (more specifically small mountain 😉)
- close knit family banter / found family
- ONE BED
- a tattooed cat daddy
- a recently divorced woman getting her spark back
- "you don't have to like me to fuck me"
LOOK NO FURTHER ! 🤍

I’m having a blast reading Amy Daws’ Mountain Men Matchmaker Series. Book 1, The Nine Month Contract, featured Wyatt and Trista; book 2, The Seven Year Itch, is the story of Wyatt’s brother Calder and Dakota.
Calder is the type of guy who takes his cat (Milkshake) for walks in a baby carrier on his chest. Yet, he tends to be known as the textbook middle child and plays into that—not taking things too seriously and being goofy. Dakota is recently divorced, ready to embrace the new her—curves and all—what her ex did not accept. The characters were so different from Book 1, and I appreciated it.
Calder and Dakota have some contentious history and truly work that enemies-to-lovers trope. Still, there’s so much great banter that I laughed several times throughout the story. I loved how they learned about themselves and grew emotionally, though their relationship was temporary.
Of course, readers can expect fun, lots of laughter, and romance—the spicy scenes were rockin’. Calder surprised me a few times. He is a “mountain man,” but he is open to other things. And I like that!
I’m eager to read Luke’s story, the youngest brother’s, next. I know it will be fun!

Enemies to Lovers, Matchmaking Niece, Cat Daddy, Boss Lady Business Owner, and One Bed—what more could you ask for in the second installment of the Mountain Men Matchmaker Series?
Calder and Dakota have a history marked by verbal sparring and mutual animosity. Initially, you might expect a straightforward enemies-to-lovers story, but a chance encounter at a sex club reveals that this is not your typical trope. An incident from the past has ignited a long-standing grudge between them, but fortunately, Calder has a matchmaking niece who recognizes the underlying spark that could ignite a passionate flame under the right circumstances.
I loved this story, particularly the forced proximity and the build up to Calder and Dakota realizing they are meant to be together. The witty banter and numerous LOL moments combined with a amazing cast of meddling family and friends Seven Year Itch it a hilarious read that leaves you wanting your own cat-daddy mountain man.
