Seven Year Itch was a fun and flirty enemies-to-lovers romance with stunning emotional depth that had me deep in my feels. Calder and Dakota clashed from the start, their animosity growing over the years—until they’re forced together, and their latent attraction ignites. As they spend more time together, they uncover hidden layers to their relationship, turning tension into something undeniable.
Both Dakota and Calder are compelling characters on a journey of self-discovery. With each other, they begin to truly understand themselves and find the courage to chase what they want. Their passionate and snarky dynamic is filled with humor, heat, and chemistry that practically leaps off the page. And let’s talk about the spice—because wow, it is absolutely spicing in this one!
Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton deliver a stellar duet narration in the audiobook, immersing every scene in raw emotion and captivating storytelling. Their performance pulls you in, making the humor and heart even more vivid.
I absolutely LOVED Seven Year Itch! It’s the perfect mix of high heat, heartfelt emotion, and laugh-out-loud moments. Calder and Dakota’s bumpy journey hits all the right spots, leaving you grinning, swooning, and maybe even fanning yourself a little.

I loved Nine Month Contract by Amy Daws, and I was really looking forward to the second round of tales involving the flannel-wearing Fletcher men. Seven Year Itch did not disappoint! If you like smoldering men, spicy and sometimes laughable scenes, and family, this book is a must-read for you. While it can stand alone, it's best enjoyed after Nine Month Contract. I appreciate NetGalley and the publisher for providing the ARC ebook that I read and reviewed. All opinions are my own.

I have been waiting for this book! I loved Nine Month Contract and couldn't wait for Calder and Dakota's story. I love these spicy, enemies to lovers, mountain men stories. Seven Year Itch is funny and heartwarming. I can't wait for the next in the series!

Dakota and Calder were such a fun, bickering pair. I loved how well they played off each other, first aggressively and then romantically. I also loved how they were “focusing” on getting Dakotas sparkle back after her divorce. I also love how all the family is still
Involved and how you got to see them throughout the story, since the family is so close it made sense but also didn’t take the focus away from the main couple. I can’t wait for the next book to see what else this family gets up to and involved in.

Calder and Dakota can’t stand each other—thanks to a home renovation disaster—but now they’re stuck sharing a room at a destination wedding. Oh, and they just happened to spot each other at a sex club right before the trip. What could possibly go wrong…
I loved this follow-up to Nine Month Contract! Amy Daws has a way of pulling off the most outrageous storylines and still making them feel totally believable in her world. The chemistry, the banter, the ridiculous (but hilarious) situations—it all works. I couldn’t stop listening.
Tropes I adore: vacation romance, one room/forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and yes… a sex club encounter. Chapter 15 kicks off the spice and it only gets hotter from there.
I did a tandem read because I literally couldn’t put this down. Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon are perfection. Teddy just gets it every time.
Can’t wait for the next in this series!

Loved the story and the narrators! The story was so cute, I loved their enemies to lovers dynamic! Great follow up to The 9 Month Contract. I really enjoyed seeing all the brothers and Everly again! The tropical setting and one bed trope were fun and the spice was great. I loved Calder's attachment to his kitty! Dakota was a successful business woman who was trying to regain her confidence after a bad marriage. My only complaint is that I felt her anger and grudge against Calder were a little immature and that Calder's insecurities in the family business and screw up status felt a bit forced. It was a great spicy rom-com, highly recommend!

Amy Daws has done it again! To say I was excited for this book was an understatement. Nine Month Contract was one of my unexpected favorites last year. And I’ve been dying for more of the Fletcher brothers ever since. Let me tell you Calder did not disappoint. Plus Dakota as our MFC also knocked it out of the park.
I’m going to start this with my one and only con of this book. The miscommunication/third act break up trope between Calder & Dakota made me want to pull my hair out. Y’all know this is one of my biggest pet peeves and I love Amy dearly but how it was pulled off here I have to say wasn’t a fan. It honestly felt unnecessary, both characters had been working and progressing so well with communicating about their insecurities and then randomly they do a 180. It just didn’t make sense and messed with the story flow. Thankfully it didn’t last long and both parties pulled their heads out of their butts.
Besides that this book was a blast. Seven Year Itch is a spicy enemies to lovers romance. Filled with laughter, angst and tears. I found both Calder and Dakota to be easy to read and extremely relatable. Especially Calder with dealing with feeling left behind and never taken seriously.
Calder & Dakota as a couple were magnetic. They truly are the real definition of enemies to lovers. Their arguments and disagreements were intense. But even with that push and pull dynamic they still supported each other and pushed one another out of their comfort zones. Plus my personal favorite the PowerPoints ;)
Lastly, the Amy Daws banter was phenomenal as usual. I’m glad I decided to read this at home and instead of work cause I definitely would’ve gotten some weird looks for several of this books lol moments.
Of course if you can’t already tell, I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to own my trophy copy. Thank you again to Amy Daws and Canary Street Press for the ARC. All thoughts are my own.

Another relationship for the Fletcher brothers and another win for Amy Daws! This was definitely a spicier book than Nine Month Contract (it features a sex club early on), but what else would we expect from Calder Fletcher? Calder and Dakota have loathed each other since day 1, or so it seems… After being forced to share a space, they enter into an unconventional situationship with unconventional stipulations. I really loved Dakota as a character, and watching how she builds herself up and regains her confidence after her divorce was wonderful. And Calder just might be the sexiest Fletcher of them all. Get ready for a seductively good time! Highly recommend!

Give me all the Aces and Killer Calders! Seven Year Itch by Amy Daws is a hilarious and heartfelt small-town mountain man romance that had me laughing out loud, blushing, and swooning from start to finish. Calder and Dakota’s enemies with benefits journey had me hooked right from the start, and I couldn’t stop listening until these two stopped being stubborn and found happiness together.
Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton perform this audiobook in duet-style narration, and these two are the “Amy Daws Dream Team” because they always nail her witty banter, tension-releasing steam, and intimate tender moments. Erin’s bright, vibrant voice captured Dakota’s sass and strength to take on new challenges and delicious endeavors. Teddy’s warm, mellow timbre matched Calder’s confident, rugged mountain man, cat daddy vibe, shedding his layers to show a charismatic vulnerability that you couldn’t help but love! These two on an Amy Daws’ audio never disappoint, and I’m obsessed!
Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a small town mountain romance with a hot broody woodworking man, a feisty T-shirt shop owner, sex club shenanigans, a meddling niece, destination weddings, enemies to lovers vibes, volleyball mishaps, forced proximity, sexcapade list, supportive family, all the spice, douche ex husbands, secrets revealed about the past, intimate conversations, love declarations, and a HEA that itches all the right spots, then you will love Dakota and Calder’s romance. I always look forward to more from Amy Daws.

This book was uh…. A little too vulgar for my taste. I read books with spice but I didn’t expect the book to start at a literal sex club with a lot of things happening lol; the language was also so vulgar and over the top for me. Objectively, it was funny and I think a lot of people will love it so I’m not going to yuck on anyone’s yum. I dnfd but just personal preference and I think the author is a great writer and people will love this!

Seven year itch was Amy Daws perfection. I loved Calder and Dakota.
Calder is the typical middle child who doesn’t feel like he is good enough for more than a one night stand.
Dakota is a divorcee who is trying to move on from her seven year marriage that was nothing like she dreamed it would be.
This is a true enemies to lovers, enemies with benefits and fine line between love and hate kind of story. There’s lots of banter and “awwwww” moments. If you loved Wyatt’s story you’re sure to love Calder and Dakota’s.
I both listened and read this book.
🎧 the performance was wonderful. Although I feel like Teddy Hamilton can literally do no wrong with narration. The level of cool he brings is just unmatched. Erin Mallon always brings a touch of fun and sass that captures a listeners attention to her narration.
📖I totally preordered the physical of this book. Can’t wait to add it to my trophy shelf.

I have been waiting a year for the follow up to one of my favorite romcoms & Amy Daws does not disappoint! Nine Month Contract introduced me to Calder & his story is everything I wanted. This enemies to lovers story is rich with history between our two MCs that comes with amazing banter, delicious tension & some surprisingly emotional moments.
This story revolves around Calder Fletcher, who gets stuck on the family vacation with his sister-in-law's best friend Dakota. These two met 7 years ago when Calder was remodeling Dakota's house & it did not go well. Calder didn't have to think twice about her since she was married but now that she's divorced, those feelings he hid with disdain light back up. Their one night in paradise turns into a spicy list for them to complete back at home - but once they complete the list, can they go back to the way things were before?
I love that fighting is their foreplay. Both Dakota & Calder are incredible characters that have such a great dynamic. The way they push & pull each other until finally they give in - the build up is perfect. Both Dakota & Calder have wonderful character arcs that really bring out the emotions. The deep character development is offset by some shenanigans & hilarious laugh out loud moments that make this a phenomenal rom-com.
The supporting cast of the Fletcher family, especially Kenzie, their matchmaker niece, rounds out the story bringing that found family aspect. I love getting to see this group & also gives a wonderful glimpse to the final Fletcher brother's story. I'm counting down until we get to revisit these Mountain Men one last time...

I didn’t think Nine Month Contract could be topped, but boy was I wrong! This book is everything. I haven’t laughed so hard at a book in a long time. I cannot wait for the next book in this series 😂

I loved Nine Month Contract and I LOVED Seven Year Itch. Amy Daws does it again. I love her writing style and how she engages with readers. Her books are always the perfect balance between spice and plot. It's never overwhelming. I loved the shorter chapters and how Daws hooks readers from page one to the last page. Very well done! This is going to blow up on BookTok and I can't wait to witness it!

A huge thank you to NetGalley, author Amy Daws, and Harlequin Trade Publishing for an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
I can honestly say that I was clambering for Calder and Dakota's story since they snarkily appeared on the page together in Nine Month Contract. I think I liked this installment of the Fletcher Mountain Men/Mountain Men Matchmaker series better than book 1. We get to see these characters evolve, and are given a nice look into their pasts to see exactly how they started off as enemies, only to end up destined for one another. They both really needed to learn how to be honest with themselves and with each other, because so much of their pain could have been avoided for years if they'd only been brave enough to have the hard conversations, instead of immediately verbally attacking each other.
As with book 1, a big tip of the hat has to go to Everly, for masterminding another happy pairing for one of her lonely uncles. That girl is 2 for 2 at this point, with no sign of slowing down, as there will be a book 3 in the future, and I honestly cannot wait.

Mountain man/business woman, enemies to lovers, romcom with amazing spice.
When a book says that there is a 'spice club' sometimes that can mean certain things. Do not let that scare you away if it normally does. This is different than most. There is no cheating, or other intimacies with others. It is about a woman finding herself after a long relationship where she lost herself. And a man trying to get over trauma from his past and finally moving on.
This is not the first book in the series, but it can be read as a complete stand-alone. However I think you will get more out of it if you have read the other books as you have met some of the characters before. But don’t let that deter you. This can be a stand-alone. But it will make you want to read all the other books!
You will get some fun little Easter eggs though if you have read some of the other series. But they are just minor, so if you haven't read the books you won't miss anything. But if you have the Easter eggs will give you quite a giggle.

Seven Year Itch by Amy Daws
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
Amy Daws once again brings readers back to Fletcher Mountain with her signature blend of humor and heat. This time, we follow Calder, the third Fletcher brother, as his story unfolds in a way that’s both heartwarming and spicy. Fans of the series will appreciate the chance to revisit familiar characters while diving deeper into the dynamic between Calder and Dakota Schaefer.
Though this book can be enjoyed as a standalone, I loved seeing how Calder and Dakota’s relationship has evolved, especially since we got glimpses of their past in Max’s and Wyatt’s stories. The enemies-to-lovers dynamic plays out as a wonderfully slow burn, and when things finally come together, it’s incredibly satisfying. The depth of their connection makes the payoff worth every moment.
Amy Daws excels at blending laugh-out-loud moments with heartfelt emotion, and Seven Year Itch is no exception. There’s just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting, making it a great pick for readers who enjoy established relationships that evolve in meaningful ways. If you’re looking for a romantic escape with a touch of nostalgia and plenty of chemistry, this one’s for you!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

My ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. The story of the 3 brothers of Fletcher Mountain (aka Millie Mountain) and a meddling neice continues with this enemies to lovers to love story. I just really hope the series continues to include a story focusing on the neice at the end and that the uncles can exact their revenge 😂

Once again, Amy Daws writes a story that has you laughing from beginning to end. The banter is always top tier, the characters say some of the most random things that have me giggling and the spice always gets me. Her books always look so wholesome but behind those closed doors, good lawd. 🥵
I love that we got to see some characters make appearances from her Wait With Me series (10/10 btw). Also, go check out the Passionflix movie for Wait For Me if you love romance movies, it’s great!
This reads as a standalone, there’s really no need to read any of her previous books to be able to understand the storyline. This story follows another of the Fletcher brothers and Dakota whom hate each other but are forced to share a private bungalow during a wedding getaway. Of course, sparks start flying, drama ensues and yes, we get a HEA and a whole lot of 🌶️ inbetween. I read it in two days as I just couldn’t put it down.

The audiobook is narrated by daddy Teddy Hamilton and the amazing Erin Mallon. The story was so fun to listen to narrated by these two. I’ll listen to anything Teddy narrates as he always does stellar job making the banter so hot. Erin as Dakota was sheer perfection for the character as well!
Thanks to NetGalley, Harlequin Trade Publishing, Harlequin Audio, Canary Street Press and Amy Daws for an advanced copy to read and listen to. Can’t wait to read the next Fletcher brothers story!

I was afraid this book will not live up to how good Nine Month Contract is but I'm very happy to report, it's just as good, even better! I love the Fletcher brothers since I read Wyatt's story and then Max's. This book is about Cadler. He's the playboy, joker and unserious brother who under all that surface level stuff is a real stand up guy. Love him as a MMC. He is so relatable (being a middle child myself) and I love how real he was from beginning to end. He is so sweet and supportive towards Dakota that it really is funny how everybody knew how down bad he was before he did. Dakota is one of my favorite FMCs. She's feisty and so lovable. Her insecurities and vulnerabilities are so real and love that she pressed on and worked on conquering them with the help of Cadler of course. An unexpeted run in in a sex club started this hate/enemies with benefits to lovers story. Cadler and Dakota together are explosive. The way they banter and bicker are straight hate and a true enemies to lovers. Although there are some misunderstandings, I love that there's a reason for everything. There's an explanation and it made sense. When it was all revealed, I loved that it completed the full picture and endeared me more towards the MCs. Love Everly and her scheming but effective ways to set up her Uncle. I hope she gets her own book too. Would love to read that. I love that we got glimpses of Trista and Wyatt and Max and Cozy in this book. I cannot wait for Luke's book (I hope I get to read that in advance too!). I only wish there were more Randal destruction haha. I feel like he got away with a lot.
Overall, I love this series. It's equal parts romance, spice, vibes and plot. The story is well fleshed out and the pacing is great. The characters are written to be perfectly flawed but you will love them and cheer for their happily ever after. Highly recommend this book and series!
Thank you to the Hive for my advance copy in exchange for my thoughts on this book!
